This is a question for everyone. How do the planets & cusp of your IC reflect the home you made for yourself? and can anyone predict mine: (i already know its going to be in a foreign country)
IC: Sagittarius cusp Venus in 4th Sun in 4th Uranus in 4th Mercury in 4th Juno & Lilith both too ------------------ Virgo Rising, Sagittarius Sun, Pisces Moon IP: Logged |

don't forget that the 4th house also represents one of your parents and how that relates to the home you eventually make for yourself. IP: Logged |

lalalinda is right.. look at your parents as well. My mother is a Cancer (which rules the 4th) and my dad is a Capricron (ruler of the 10th) My brother and I are both Saggies but his Sun is in the 10th house. In my case, my 4th house (like yours) is ruled by Sagittarius and it houses my Sun and Mercury. My Venus in Sag is almost in the 4th house, but technically it's in the 3rd. My home is my castle and home is also my refuge, my very being. I don't invite many people over, but when I do they always talk about how warm and inviting it is. My house is more reflective of my father, whom I found to be more nurturing that my mother. He was genuinely happy to have children whereas I felt my mother did it to have two little beings love her unconditionally. LOL... I move every 2 years it seems like. I have lived in So Cal, Portland, Vancouver, WA, Annapolis MD and now in Arizona. Soon I will be living in Germany. For me it isn't about living in a foreign country, it is about living life's experiences yet being able to have that secure home base. You and I are not typical Archer's in that we do have a strong tie either to family or our lineage. I don't go more than a week without talking to my family (I often talk and e-mail several times a week) and I love to visit them. Fourth house Sun's come into our own later in life. I don't mean that we are not happy througout life, especially as an Archer life is a grand parade, but we learn how to incorporate those lessons and use them to our benefit as we grow older. I love being home (when I am there) and it represents all the experiences I had by the art that I chose, my style of decorating etc.. With Venus in your 4th house, your house will have to reflect your value and BE COMFORTABLE LOL.. you will not settle for anything that you feel is ugly or dirty. You will, if you don't already, appreciate art in all forms. I would also say with your Pisces moon, art that makes you feel tranquil or that you can zone out on will also make your house feel warm to you. ~Pidaua IP: Logged |

I haven't made a home for myself (yet!!) however, I will be soon...All I know is that I wanna live far away from my hometown, definitely in a fast-paced city, that has a nice glamour factor to it. And I need it to be extravagant which is why I plan/hope to make a lot of $$ cuz I have a lot of wild ideas . I'm moving to either New York or LA within the next year or so. (Haven't decided yet.) My IC is in Aquarius, conjunct Mars in the 4th Uranus in the 2nd house Moon in Leo/10th house. ------------------ Libra Rising, Scorpio Sun, Leo Moon IP: Logged |

I have aries on the fourth house cusp with nothing in but the Vertex in Taurus (even you even count that). I seriously have no idea how this relates my ideal self made home. I feel like I want mine to be comfortable, which is way more cancerian to me.IP: Logged |

My IC is in Capricorn (relates to my mother, for sure, her moon was in capricorn and it was quite apparent). And neptune is in my 4th house, that's it though.Does that have some relation to how I look at my home for inspiration? I am the most inspired for artwork or writing when I'm at home, I make my room almost sacred. I usually save just about everything, in thoughts of keeping it to decorate my bedroom. IP: Logged |

I think you've just answered your own question aloneinkyoto. I have Pisces on the IC with Neptune in the 1st. Home is pretty much where I regenerate myself. If I spend to long away from it I end up feeling drained. I also have Mars in the 4th. IP: Logged |

No planets in the fourth, Aquarius on the cusp. I don't "make a home" at all. I have been refusing to move because moving is a pain to do, but I haven't redecorated ever since the apartment got remodeled, and I don't spend much time at home.IP: Logged |

Hmm ... my IC is in Libra. From Star2Star site: Libra influencing this house suggests that you are very much in need of roots. You want to own your home and possessions, free and clear, and you need this for your emotional security. You appear very peaceful and quiet, but until you are well anchored in life, you will experience much inner restlessness and vacillation. Your home is the balancing point in your life. You need to have your abode attractively decorated, and filled with congenial people. ----------------------- I also have Saturn conjunct Pluto there. IP: Logged |

I have Neptune in the 4th house I like to watch decorating programs and often wish I had a home like the ones on T.V. I dream of the ideal home. In reality I live in a terrible drug area. (I shall blame my square from Neptune to my Moon in Pisces for this.)I have Scorpio on the I.C not too sure what this means, maybe I seek a deep transformation in the home. In my interpretation in my book I have a secret private life with dark roots - ooh sounds mysterious doesn't it - I LIKE IT . Pluto is the ruler of my background, home and inner life - Intense. (My Pluto in Libra squares Venus in the 5th, I did keep secret how badly I was being abused by a previous partner. Nobody knew what went on behind closed doors.) As I was working through this I never realized how much I fitted my Scorpio I.C. No wonder I called my self Shining Ray, I need a light to see through the dark Scorpio and foggy Neptune both affecting my inner world/home life. Shining Ray IP: Logged |

My IC is in Leo even though my 4th house cusp is in Virgo. I read that some people believe that the IC is your soul and your psychological makeup. The other hidden part of you besides the sun. I thought that sounded rather ... I guess I express myself and my creativity in and through my home (or rather through what I view as "home"),most comfortably, because home is what you make of it I guess. Also,I've never been in one home for very long as a child. We moved alot(later, I alone, moved pretty frequently) and there was alot of "change" that took place in my home environment.
