Topic: A kitten name Styx and the Asteroid Ubasti

My father rescued a mother cat and three kittens out of the wall of an apartment building where he worked. Two of the three kittens died and the remaining one was brought to my mothers house for the time being until a home could be found for it. The second I saw the day old kitten I had a connection with it, The little blob of white fluff was mine it belonged to me!, I named him on the spot "Styx". I didn't know why I had such strong feelings for him at the time.
A few days later I took a look to see what was happening with my transits. The asteroid Ubasti also known as the Cat goddess Bast was transiting my 8th house and in conjunction with my natal Ubasti and Moon as well as my natal chiron making a sextile of 0.06 to the transiting Ubasti.
But a couple of things I thought were interesting. Ubasti in the my 8th house associated with the Pluto and the underworld and me naming him Styx after the Goddess of the under world river. Bast is associated with Monday Styx was born on a Monday. cool.
Plus I really dislike cats, (I mean when I have nightmares there about cats comeing to get me) its really really wierd I like him.IP: Logged |

Oh, that's such a neat story. I've had pets that I've become strangely close to before.I like cats a lot, though. They all love me a lot too, I've never met a cat I didn't like. Cats seem to connect to me differently than a lot of other people, I've never had real trouble with them. We have a cat at our house that uses that bathroom in every room, everywhere, except in my room where it seeks refuge all of the time. I can leave clothes out everywhere.. and it still doesn't use spite against me. I put Ubasti in to see where it would be on my chart, and it was conjunct with my Mercury, but it was also trine with my Chiron. I don't know if that has any significance, but is interesting.
