Is the first contact chart compared with the individuals natal charts or the composite of the couple?

I'd really like some feedback on this as I've been reading about first contact charts and find them interesting. Especially what magiastrology has to say about them, although I'm still somewhat skeptical about magi.

I don't know how to post the charts so I'll just write the dates.

Me:
22 feb 1978 4.10pm melbourne australia
Him:
5 March 1985 7pm melbourne australia
First contact:
14 january 2006 11.30pm melbourne australia

Any feedback would be really interesting, it just feels so right. Theres gotta be an explanation!

Oz,

A first contact chart is also called an "event chart", which is a chart created at the "birth" of an event. So the event chart can be considered on its own, as a "regular chart", with Solar Returns, transits, progressions, etc.

Looking only at the event chart, it is interesting that there is an interception between the 1rst house (being) and the 7th house (relationships), with the North node (future goals) focused in the 7th house. This indicates this event has something to do with relationships (if we didn't know this already). This "romantic" impression is increased since both Sun (self-expression, also dating) and Venus (relationships) are focused in the 5th house (self-expression, also dating).

There is also Taurus (physical, also desires) modifying Mars (being, also action) focused in the 8th house (transformation, also sex), indicating that this may not be a "Platonic" relationship! The importance of sex is further suggested by Pluto (transformation, also sex) conjunct the Nadir (inner world).

Eventfully,

Tim

Oh thanks so much for that Tim!

Explains a lot, it was kinda... um... 'interesting' when we first met. Romance was definately in the air! Lol
