A few days ago a good friend went into labour 8 weeks early. Luckily they stopped it and now its a waiting game to see when she will have her baby. Medically they'll both be fine regardless of when the baby is born, thankfully.My friend was herself 12 weeks premature and it got me thinking about how that relates to her astrology. She is a pisces, more of a 'whale' type pisces though and I wondered if it was possible she carried any traits from when her actual due date was. Its made me curious now, does anyone have any thoughts or experiences on the effect of astrology with premature births? IP: Logged |

I know youre asking about premature births but I read in a astrology book that PISCES rising lives may be lost through birth defects, infant mortality and accidents.
Pisces and Birth arent usually a good mix, I think.------------------

Really? I don't think I quite understand what you mean by that.I'm pisces and have 2 children and they were both quick, easy labours and they've never been ill (other than the usual tummy bugs and colds). Of course I went completely loopy during both pregnancies, hormones I guess. I was a twin though but my twin died before we were born because of some weird thing where I took all the nutrients.

I've always been interested in twins and reincarnation.. I have a twin brother and I always wonder why we were paired together, and what karma is behind it. I was also born only two weeks early but I don't think that I have any of the traits that I would have had if I were born two weeks later.I knew a girl who was three months premature. She was a scorpio sun, rising, mercury, venus and mars. She was definitely one troubled girl. IP: Logged |

it's weird that you should mention that, i was also born prematurely, i should have been born sometime at the beginning of February but instead i was in a hurry (like mom likes to say) and i was out by the 18th of november  I did have some serious problems for the first 3 or 4 months when i could have died by i guess i was lucky enough not to.I'm a pretty normal individual (or so i like to believe  ), nothing wrong with me neither physically nor mentally.
In this case i believe it's more about luck and what the doctors are able to do for you rather than astrology.Maybe i'm wrong, but it might also be about karma and destiniy.But that's a different story. IP: Logged |

Its in fact very weird i am myself about 8 weeks premature and i really cant imagine myself as a Leo. ------------------

I was born on time myself, actually my mom was in labor for a while.. I didn't want to come out! haha My nephew (not blood related) Is a Triple Cancer, He was suppose to be born the end of July.. and ended up being born the day before my birthday He was 3weeks early. I coulnd't imagine him a Leo at all.. he's so much a cancer he puts me to shame! lol great kid though, I understand him so much more then his parents do! IP: Logged |

I know this is about premature births, but sometimes it's good to contrast ideas too My son was born LATE! He was due Sep 21st ('91)and by Sep 30th the doctor said we'd have to induce labor since he was sooo big (he was just under 11 lbs & 24 inches long!). We showed up the next day (Oct.1)and you'd think after EIGHT hours of Pytocin and contractions this kid would have been aching to get out - wrong! After cajoling the doc into performing a C-section he finally arrived with a Pisces ascendant. The one thing that has always kinda worried me was his 8th house Libra Mars T-square to Neptune/11th Moon/5th. In fact, I still worry. Guess we never really stop. IP: Logged |

Ok my friends baby was born 21st October! Very healthy at 4lbs 5oz considering she was almost 8 weeks early.Both mother and daughter are doing well, she was born naturally, no caesarian. She shares a birthday with my mother. IP: Logged |

hmmm... I know that the doctors were uncertain about my due date... they first said November 20th, then they said September 29th.... I was born on the 10/26. ------------------
