Hello all, I have a funny astrological question and I wanted your thoughts. Hope you don't mind. A few years ago, I had my chart done by a fairly well known numerologist and astrologer. He contended that there was in fact an additional planet and that I was born under this planet. When he did my chart based on his belief in this additional planet,it indicated that all 9 of my planets were in Scorpio. Now, based on the traditional concepts of astrology, I am : Sun Sagittarius 08° 27' 5th House Moon Sagittarius 17° 28' 5th House Mercury Sagittarius 19° 20' 6th House Venus Scorpio 07° 27' 4th House Mars Sagittarius 21° 13' 6th House Jupiter Leo 09° 01' 1st House Saturn Virgo 13° 27' 3rd House Uranus Scorpio 18° 02' 5th House Neptune Sagittarius 17° 40' 6th House Pluto Libra 18° 25' 4th House What are your thoughts? I should point out that I did not pay for this reading. I wouldn;t want anybody to think I was taken by a carpetbagger. Tinasparkle IP: Logged |

Perhaps you had a Vedic chart done? I know next to nothing about Vedic Astrology, but what I do know is that it moves the degrees of natal western planets back about 23-24ish degrees. That could indeed explain how they came up with the Scorpio placements instead of your Sagi placements. Also, I think what you're meaning is an additional constellation, not planet. The 13th constellation being Ophiuchus, the Serpent Bearer (Nov 30 - Dec 17). This seemed to be an interesting link just at a glance: Ophiuchus ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

I am all for working with a zodiac that is constellation-based...not the sidereal zodiac..but the constellation zodiac with its uneven constellations.I think that there is something to my having Sun in the Constellation of Virgo(Sun in tropical zodiac Scorpio,Sun in sidereal zodiac Libra)as well as my Moon in the Constellation of Aquarius(Moon in tropical sign Pisces,Moon in sidereal sign Aquarius). My Moon is not only in constellation Aquarius but it actually occults(conjunct and parallel) a star in Aquarius called Ancha. IP: Logged | |
