Hi all, I am trying to get some kind of insight into my fella's probable behavior in the bedroom. I read an interesting article about Mars and Venus placement, but his Mars and Venus are so drastically different I can't make heads or tails of it. It the house palcement significant. Any help would be appreciated. Him:

Well your off to a good start knowing the Venus & Mars, but why don't you calculate his Eros and psyche and check the aspects between his Venus, Mars, Psyche, & Eros. Also check to see if their are any aspects with Venus & Mars to the AC. And check to see what lies in the 8th house and what aspects are sprouting from it. That would be a good idea.------------------

Venus in Virgo is kinky- even if they don't quite come across as such. Combine that with the "still waters run deep" Scorp mars and you have kink plus stamina which makes for a long night  My husband has Venus in Virgo and Mars in Taurus (Scorp and Virgo goes well, as do Taurus and Virgo). Mars in Taurus also equals MUCHO stamina (hee hee) maybe it has something to do with the "fixed" nature of the sign LOL.... The issue the two of you may have- concerns your Mars in Sagittarius squaring his Venus in Virgo. He may see you as a bit too aggressive at times or he may like that domination- yet his Mars in Scorp might not like giving up the control LOL... I have Venus in Sagittarius squaring my hubby's Venus in Virgo- we actually get along quite well in the sexual arena (as well as in all arena's) even with that square. It adds some spice. Like Mars in Scorp, Mars in Taurus savors each and every moment in bed (and when combined with the passionate Leo Sun and inventive Venus in Virgo.. well, no complaints from this Saggie). But, if your man's sexual behaviour feels - abnormal, I would look at his Venus - Saturn aspect. I was one with a man that had Venus conjunct Saturn in Cancer. He also had a T-square involving that Venus / Saturn causing him to have quite the deranged view of sex and several disgusting habits that I found to be deal breakers. Neptune, I am not much into asteroids just as I am not much into progressions. Maybe I am old school in that I look at the basic chart and view the other planets as "spice". They add flavor to the picture but they are not the be all end all. I am fully my Venus in Sag and I see Bear as being very Venus in Virgo- we are all a sum of our parts, but I believe the Sun is still center that all planets revolve around IP: Logged |

Neptune5, Thanks, I will check into it. Pidaua, Wow, this could be interesting. As far as the possibility of his being turned off by my being aggressive, I don't think that will be a problem. It seems that my Sag presents itself as more coquette than aggressor.A very bawdy part of my personality has come out since I met him. I think it is that he makes me feel very safe. He seems to dig that "Marilyn Monroe" part of me and otherwise,I tend to perfer a guy to take charge. Not be a bully, just be "the man" and take me by the hand a bit. So I think this is promising. Well, if he is anything like my Bear (Hubby) then you are going to be in for a big treat .... Anyone that can make you feel at ease in the bed department is wonderful and I think it takes a special combination. I would also think that your Venus in Scorpio appreciates his Mars in Scorp (not to mention he finds you incredibly attractive) ....Bawdy is yummy, but if you start to feel that there are some areas that bother you, be sure to let him know. Venus in Virgo Kinky???...haha....I never heard that before...Maybe I am mistaken, but I thought this placement would be very shy and cautious in the area of sex...dedicated and reliable maybe...but kinky. Virgo- is the sign of observation and assimilation. I think most Virgo Sun's and Venus in Virgo would be offended at the perpetuation of the stereotype of being "fussy, shy and quiet"These men are anything BUT- especially a Venus in Virgo type. I don't want to get to bawdy, but one should read "sextrology" and you'll have a clue about Venus in Virgo. I'm married to one, dated one and divorced a Virgo. Does that mean a Venus in Virgo kink is on par with say someone that has Venus opposed Uranus? Nope, they are probably not going to be into self-anal exploration or playing with feces. They aren't "Deviants" but they will explore and decide something is enjoyed or not. Then again, unlike some mislabled "sexual" signs they actually live the term instead of just being the "myth". I won't completely get into details because of the ages of people on here and due to my own privacy, but I can vouch for the kink. One thing to keep in mind- one person's kink is another's vanilla. Last time I checked the definition for kinky included a bizarre taste for sexual practices - again- that depends on the person doing the evaluated. Someone that likes to be tied up, whipped and peed on, will most likely see sex outdoors in an area where one could get caught as being "vanilla".

Speaking as someone with Venus in Virgo and who has been involved romantically with two other folks with Venus in Virgo...we are NOT kinky. Not prudish but definitely not kinky. I have noticed that my Venus in Virgo fellow doesn't like to be dirty. It's not like he minds if I am, but if we have been out in the garden or it's Saturday morning and he hasn't had a shower yet, it really bothers him. We haven't slept together yet, but I would imagine that this would transfer into the bedroom. Venus in Virgos aren't freaky clean though,right. I once new a guy--we DID NOT date_--who as really into cleanliness and he had high colonics all the time and when he dated a woman I knew, she said he was really weird about cleanliness and sex. Wow.. then maybe I just bring out the best in Venus in Virgo? Mine has a kink side to him but doesn't have any afflictions to his Venus in Virgo. Is he clean? Yes, he loves to fold his clothes or hang them up. He is certainly not into dirt at all as far as a woman being "earthy". I have Pluto and Ascendant in Virgo, so I like things clean as well and can't stand the "hairy" "smelly" thing in any way shape or form. One thing ladies... let's not get off track here- I was referring to Venus in Virgo for those people that have a twig and berries attached to the mid portion- not females. I could careless about the anal retentiveness of a Venus in Virgo female. In the sense a Venus in Sag male is going to be different than I am. Although they always say we are open in love, running from one to another, there is always an exception to the rule. Like me- then again, I have Saturn in Taurus in the 8th. Some of the kinkiest and most sexually verbose men I know have Virgo Sun / Moon or Venus placements. Maybe we could do a poll about kinky Virgo men... I would bet you'll be surprised, especially since we seem to get more than a few topics about their kink status. LMAO.... But hey, stereotypes are fun too now aren't they? Another Venus in Virgo guy I am friends with has multiple partners, orgies and tapes himself for other friends doing off the wall things with his body. illusion's_fool, Zala is 100% right- never let anyone tell you that having an Earth sign makes you non-sexual or sexually timid. Earth signs are sensual AND unlike some of the other signs- can carry that sensuality for a LONG time- stamina, romance etc.... My favorite reference to Venus in Virgo uses the analogy of the myth of Pygmalion, and that Venus in Virgo people have an erotic Pygmalion fantasy. NOT ONLY to find or create the "perfect" mate, but to BECOME what their mate most desires as well.
To me, this pins it down completely. So that's why we speak of Venus in this placement as both picky and kinky. Both "of service" and "submissive".
