I have read about how some people suggest that the demotion of Pluto means that most of us think that it's okay to repress things,to wander at our cores, being the unconscious motor of our unconscious state.

I like to look at things from a different point of view being Dyslexic.

Maybe it's not about the repression. Equality is an issue in our world. Pluto was demoted but Ceres was promoted. Ceres and Pluto are equal in Astronomy as dwarf planets now along with Eris. Ceres was once categorized as a planet, and it got demoted just like Pluto was once categorized as a planet is now demoted. Should we say that with Ceres's demotional, our nuturing natures are repressed? Or could it be that Ceres relating to the female principle, females haven't been getting the respect that they deserved like males are getting. Males getting all the power, and that's not fair to females. So Pluto(named after a male deity) gets demoted after the discovery of Eris(named after a female deity)and a new resolution that makes them equal with Ceres(named after a female deity) who has been promoted. This is male losing some power and not being overestimated and the female's worth being recognized and not being underestimated. Gender equality. That's the bottom line.

Also there are other transneptunian objects that qualify as dwarf planets including 2000EL61,FY9,Sedna,Orcus,Quaoar,Varuna,Ixion and some others. They will be equals to Pluto now even though they were viewed as inferior to Pluto.

In our world, minorities are always looked down upon and mistreated. They are usually underestimated. They fight to be recognized. You see that with Blacks in civil rights movement in the 1960's. You see it now with homosexual couples fighting for the right to marry each other. Human rights violations happen all over the world. Too many people think that they are better than others in regards to things like ethnic group, religion, social background, educational background, etc.

I feel that Eris has to do with all that. It definitely can indicate stirring up crap,"If you don't like it,tough crap..after all we can't please everybody","Darned if you do and Darned if you don't",causing chaos and controversy, and make people wake up and see the issues....After a huge fight, there comes peace. Some times, wars might happen to get some type of issue resolved. Take for instance the Civil War. The Union states against the Confederate States. Thanks to the War and the Confederate States losing, slavery was abolished. Blacks weren't like on the bottom of the human chain. There were even Blacks that were respected for their intelligence like Frederick Douglass who was so intelligent that whites doubted that he was even a slave. Sometimes positions and views need shaken up so positive progress can be made.

an example of Darned if You do,Darned if you Don't is NFL Football Player Terrell Owens. He returned to football much faster than predicted because he wanted to his team,Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl against the Patriots. However,he was accused of being selfish for doing that rushing his recovery time which could jeopardize his team's chances of winning the Super Bowl. Terrel Owens straight up said that if it was Brett Favre,he would be seen as hero.

another example of Darned if you do,Darned if you Don't" is Princess Diana. She was really into being a humanitarian, but she was often accused of just wanting attention. That also happens to many other celebrities. When they are doing humanitarian acts, they get accused of trying to get media attention

the latest: Madonna adopted a boy from Africa and people are criticizing her for following a celebrity after Angelina Jolie who adopted an African Girl. Some even complained that there are too many children in USA that need parents and that she shouldn't have adopted children from another country. Some even compared her choosing child to choosing a pet. I find that ridiculous.

I can relate to "Damned If I do,Damned if I don't" in when people tell me that I disagree with and that I feel is untrue, I want to defend myself, give a rebuttal, and make my points so I can be understood. However, when I do that, I can get accused of ranting, being arrogant, whining,or other things. I tend to be afraid to speak mind about things because I don't want people to chastise me because my views aren't concurrent to their way of thinking. That's happened to me many of times in yahoo ADD chatrooms and groups. That's happened to me in spiritual chatrooms who say there are no such thing as learning disabilities and ADHD and even blame it all on bad teaching, sugar, and other stuff. I also point out to both psychiatry-believing and spiritual groups that we learning disabled/ADHD people are different and not defective.

I have Mercury in Scorpio biquintile Eris in Aries in 8th and my Eris in 8th sextile Gemini Midheaven.
I think that I use those configurations when I point out the misdiagnoses and racism that goes on in psychiatry and my raising awareness of things like Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,AD/HD,and other neurodivergent conditions that are often misunderstood and misdiagnosed. People who strongly believe in psychiatry and that AD/HD is a disorder that needs to be medicated will see me as a troublemaker.

Conflict that brings about change - that's another thing that I see about Eris.

I feel that we are definitely in Eris times.

I do believe that Eris has to do with terrorism and controversy which both can be chaotic and disordered.

You have very interesting thoughts on Eris; I think you are really perceptive about undercurrents going on in the world. If Eris is the way you discribe it, discord that brings about positive change and equality, then I am all for Eris!

I have Eris conjunct my NN in Aries, fifth house......square vertex.
