Librarian -Thank you very much for posting the astrological information straight off, some people like the dates to do it themselves, I prefer to have info posted and ready to go (word to anyone else, I like info posted, including images of Wheels, etc.)
The first thing I noticed is that you, her AND the Composite has Venus in Virgo. The next thing that is interesting and may contribute to good understanding is that your Venus is in your 12th House, your Mars is in your 3rd House > HER Venus is in her 3rd House, her Mars is in her 12th House. Did you see that?
I'm looking at Venus and Mars because they tend to do a little dance (or chase depending) ...
So it's like YOUR Venus in Virgo is chased by HER Mars in Cancer, and HER Venus is being chased by YOUR Mars in Scorpio. Heads up on her Mars in Cancer, it is not very assertive it letting it's romantic needs known. You'll have to act quite intuitively to know her likes and dislikes and hope the results reach your Venus in Virgo's ears. The Virgo/Cancer theme continues and is further enhanced by your respective Ascendants, which may add to both of you being on the "reserved" side.
The next thing I wanted to look at was the Uranus' placements because sometimes you can tell a little bit about risk-taking, or what areas (Houses) get shook up. Your Uranus is in your 3rd House, hers in her 5th House. The 3rd is about communication and siblings, so you may feel comfortable with unique ways to communicate, or attracting those who communicate uniquely. There is a strong need for friendship for you.
Her Uranus in her 5th House is similar in that the 5th represents creativity, so you may be attracted to each other's modes of expression.
And how your thinking aligns, both Mercury's in Water Signs, and both Mercury's are very important to each of you. Yours is in its natural 3rd House, and hers is in her 1st House.
What she may lack in "romantic assertiveness" might be made up by her Leo Sun & Moon. Your Libra Sun & Moon will try to understand. In fact, you are much more inquisitive than she is, more analytical.
