A year ago I met a man on an online game. We were only friends and as time went we became closer. Talking online, emails, phone calls etc. It's been a year now for things to progress to where we are. My taurus sun is very cautious but finally I would like to spend time with him and figure out what it is we have. But I am very afraid that what if all that chemistry we have is not there in person. I am looking for any indication in synastry towards the level of attraction and unsure. I did enjoy the thread on the 9th harmonic chart, there we have so much. My stuff:

As far as the 9th harmonic stuff my harmonic venus is conjunct his natal mars almost exactly. His harmonic venus opposes my moon. His harmonic sun and pluto conjunction sits right on my natal rising.His harmonic part of fortune and chiron almost exactly conjunct my sun. His harmonic north node is conjunct my harmonic venus and trine both my natal mars and venus, His harmonic moon conjuncts my natal mars and trines my natal venus. My harmonic sun exactly conjuncts his natal saturn. My harmonic saturn exactly opposes his natal sun. My harmonic vertex exactly conjuncts his natal moon. His harmonic vertext opposes my natal sun. My harmonic moon is 7 degrees of scorpio his natal sun is 9 degrees of scorpio. My harmonic juno is conjunct his harmonic 7th house. His harmonic juno conjuncts my harmonic rising AND opposes my natal venus.

But natally you can see, my venus trines his mars, but his venus makes no aspect to my mars. His Jupiter opposes my moon. His mars does sextile my rising. His venus does conjunct my neptune and widely opposes my sun. His Pluto is on my rising with a 7 degree orb opposition with my venus, with my Pluto sextile his Venus. His rising is sextiled by both my mars and venus. But I am unsure in all that how the attraction or chemistry might work. I get worried about my mars in sag and his venus in scorpio making no connection. His sun trines my moon, and I know we are very much in many ways like the same person, perhaps it's the similarties of taurus and scorpio, yet I am worried about "change" that this love and chemistry we feel now will change in person. Obviously I'll never know until we meet (coming up soon) and my Mars in sag and Venus is Aries is all about lets just jump in and find out but still the taurus and pisces in me is nervous and my jup in virgo is worried :P I would greatly value anyones insight and for the time anyone would take looking at our info. While I understand your wanting to know about astrological compatibility, I recommend waiting until you have an established and solid relationship before astrologically analyzing things too deeply, particularly in a case like this. I hope you wouldn't reject or embrace something before seeing if it works "in real life" vs. theoretically with astrology.

My husband and I met online. We have a few similar aspects to you and your friend. There are some major oppositions and some squares but also plenty of "good" aspects. I wonder though, if I had done a thorough chart comparison between us before we got solidly together, would I have let the oppositions and squares turn me off and away from the best relationship of my life? Astrology is an amazing guide but it can be interpreted many ways and it manifests in different ways according to the individuals. I hope people look to it as a tool for insight and understanding but not as an oracle.

Thank you so much, that was very well said. Yes I would say I have let my Jupiter in Virgo worry myself out of many of things, and I can at times use astrology to only build those worries up. No relationship or synastry between two people are going to be perfect. Things will play out how they play out and if you let fear and worry stop you, you will never know. Your words seem so obvious, intelligent and caring, but yet that part of it didn't hit me. Thank you for pointing something out that was right there for me to see ::big hug::

I just don't want to imagine you getting hurt because of your own (in your head) personal expectations, which you have built up. We build these very same experiences up because the emotional distance gives us room to romanticize it to our whim.

Be aware that it may be best to leave the friendship where it's at because if you take it further, you'll feel like chalking it up to "failure". Think about the old days, before telephones, where everything went horseback including love letters. The damsel in distress is happier and more satisfied with the rich romantic life which the unknown enriches, while waiting 6 months for a response to her last letter.

I don't know...it could go either way. Would you rather turn away in fear that it might not work out or give it a chance and find out for sure? Like I said, I met my husband online. We had the same worries before we met that the chemistry would be different in person. It wasn't. We got married five months after we met and we've been married four years now. You can meet your soulmate in all kinds of ways.

Thank you both very much, well my libra rising or my pisces moon not sure which can see it both ways. I very much worry about the expectations I throw out there. I do that with real life relationships as well and no one can ever live up to the bar I set. That is sometthing that's an on going struggle that I try hard to work at. Our composite chart has Neptune on the rising, I worry very much about that. Yes perhaps it can be the more evolved Neptune, a true soul connection, we both feel like there are unseen hands pushing us together. We both talk about the Neptune on the rising, about ideas of who we are being unclear and too perfect and we try very hard to be as clear as possible with each other about who we are, faults and all. We both want to go into this with eyes wide open. We have some wonderful aspects that make loving each other easy, so the venus in aries and mars in sag says lets jump in and see where we land, but the pisces moon can over romanticize things and get hurt. So yes I can see it both ways. No pain to gain..Nothing ventured nothing gained..So we plan to meet, no expectations and go from there. I think Tigerlily said it very well about not letting astrology be more than a tool. If it works out than I'll be happy I tried, if it doesn't either way I would be hurt but at least I can live with the fact I tried. Thank you both and thank you for the warm welcome. I really enjoy this site. I have read it for about a year and decided I would love to be apart of it.

hi pisces,
i ran a composite for the 2 of you and it shows the need for caution.i would not advise meeting him without a friend in a public place.
i assume you are hoping there will be some "chemistry " between the 2 of you.
the strongest aspect is the mental,thw jupiter in virgo indicate a goood meeting of the minds.you guys see the world in a similar way,maybe have simlar goalss,but the emotional connect is not there.venus/mars midpooints give a indication of how you will feel about each other ,nd there are no significant aspects here.there are actually some very troubling aspects instead.venus is square to pluto.this a a red flag as pluto is not a nice guy.it can symbolize instinctual sexual desire with not element of love or consideration.second ,the pluto/chiron midpoint is conjunct to ssaturn.another depressive and dark aspect.these are square to mars which can mean dark deeds.the moon is opposed to uranus ,by itself,shows a realtionship that will not last.at it's worst ,it can show physical arguements.
this whole chart bode ill,so if you go thru with it ,make sure you follow the cautions offered above

So I'm not sure what to say William. I know my mars squares his Saturn that I worry about. But his sun trines my moon, his jupiter opposes my moon, my venus conjuncts his moon. There are positives there right? I can't possibly imagine him hurting me. We've had some good heated arguements but we always are compelled to talk them out. Can you explain to me this midpoint of venus/mars? So does that mean no chemistry? that venus and pluto no love?

by midpoints you mean composite right? or am I missing something on astrodentist when I run a composite I don't see the venus square pluto I see it trined, I don't see uranus oppose moon but I do see pluto oppose the moon. So is this a different way of calculating compatability? thank you william

hi piscesmoon,
i made a couple of mistakes ,with the venus and chiron.the attractive nature of the relationship is much more intense but i still stand by my cautious points.
venus/uranus midpoint is within orb of the ascendant.very entracing aspect.a very high,idealistic emotional connection.the uranus quality can give a feeling of extreme closeness almost a mind reading feeling,think parallel thoughts and saying the same thing at the same time.venus is loosely opposed to the sun ,so the feeling of spontaneous affection is present.then the moon is at the nadir indicating that your comminications with him are "hitting home",i.e. connecting at hte base of your personality.the "psychic nature of this composite can be very overwhelming.
on the cautious side though is the mars/pluto midpoint square to saturn,will saturn conjunct the pluto/chiron midpoint.
these aspects are definetly correlated with physical violence,pure and simple.the mars/pluto is exactly square saturn. i now understand the passion of this composite but be still follow the above cautions when you meet

Thank you William for looking at that again. The psychic part is definetly there. We will finish each other sentences, we will start saying the same thing at the same time, we will literally be calling each other the exact same time and get the others voicemail or I will pick up the phone to call him and before it rang he is there. We always seem to know what each other is thinking. We've even started sharing the same dream however weird that sounds..That connection only intensifies how we feel about each other. We like to say that we are to peas in a love pod lol Sure I am worried a little about that mars/saturn thing. I shared with him what you wrote and he made me giggle. He said maybe he should bring one of his buddies along incase I'm the one that beats him up ::giggle:: Just feels like we are suppose to be together, something very strong there, and sure I worry about attraction/chemistry..if it will remain with the in person factor..my taurus is very intune with the natural scents of people and the whole pheremone turn on factor to that so I worry about changes that being in person might bring. Again I do appreciate you redoing that and giving me some sound advice
