Hello all,

I was just wondering, with Mercury in retrograde, we hear all of these stories of miscommunication, misunderstanding and overall upheaval and yet, there must be a positive side. There must be some of you who have had good experiences during times like this. Please, tell me about them. Thanks

One positive thng I've heard is that "old friends" re-surface around this time. Actually, anyone you have unfinished business with.

With other strong transits in my and her transits It is something that could happen, but she is definnetly not a "friend", something more...I just hope that this time, all good that comes through "transits" , it is about her...Mercury "stopped" today and with Uranus transiting my Moon, I feel it hard. I hope that "cavalry" (Jupi) will arrive in time in my 12th house.

hi tina,
good question
a up side is that one intuitive powers can be enhanced when mercury is retrograde if the intellectual mode can be held in check.
mercury in pisces can be very psychic during retrograde but again the rational mode must be disregarded.

William, et al,

How does it generally impact relatioships particularly of the romantic variety and how can any negative effects be avoided? Thanks. Also, with regard to my specific romantic relationship,
I have Sag in Mercury 6th House
and
Mercury Conjunction Mars 01° 53'
Mercury Square Saturn 05° 53'
Mercury Conjunction Neptune 01° 40'
Mercury Sextile Pluto 00° 55'

were He has Cancer in Mercury 9th House
and
Mercury Sextile Venus 03° 46'
Mercury Square Saturn 00° 13'. Any thoughts on how we should proceed through this period until Mercury sets itself right?

Yep Tina, right post...I agreed with my post that this time returns "ppl from past", or past returns inside us more then ever.
It can be hard time, but if you wish to settle or confront some issues from past, maybe this time can bring you chance.
This is period of "thinking" and "confronting", not beginning od something new.

K.

P.S. From my experience, very tense period.

Your Mercury already passed PLuto and Venus, and it will do 2 more times (one will be in retrograde moving).
Soon you will have Stellium(Mars, Venus, Sun and Mercury) on Pluto and Venus. Jupi is in Scorpio now also.
Well, If you are not involved in some relationship there is a chance that you could have some communication with "PAST", love from past or deep thinking about relationship. Passion is in the game, good or bad.
Expect something around 6th November, 5 days +/-. Or even you can do something.

My interpretation, but somebody maybe can explain it better.

Hi all,

The reason I ask about positive effects of Mercury in retrograde is that I had never really paid much attention to it and have never noticed a time in my life when things went "to hell in a handbasket" or where communications just seemed off. When I read a post about it coming up, I wondered what the effects might be on daily life and if it was possible to not have the negative impact because i haven't ever noticed one.

Kaira,

I read your post about Venus in Scorpio,
My ex had it, and I have like your ex Venus in Aquarius.
It is difference in expressing love, not that other person doesnt love you.
If you like mature ppl can understand each other without egoism and aknowledge "different styles" in giving love, that everything can work out.
One tip for "Scorpio in Venus";
"Nobody wants to hurt you, it is you that you are hurting yourself", if you got my point. Revenge and self-righteousness, like jealousy in Venus in Scorpio, are "low passions", that come from our insecurity in ourselfs. We can all be better.

hey kindjali. what you said really helped me, because i kinda gathered an image that if someone was in love, they'd have to act the way i do. but i guess i was wrong. he just seems so distant though. i have a question, after a break up, are Venus in Aquarius people even more detached, and do they have any mourning periods, or grief in them? are they quick to get up and move on with their lives or what?

It is hard to answer that Kaira.
I have for example Piscies Moon, and in same time I broke with my ex 1,5 year ago, I have Uranus conjucting my Moon (2 months ahead till it is gone).
I have sorrow and grief for 1,5 year now, and even I am feeling best in this last period I still think on her every day...It my Capricorn look and Mars in Saggy that gives "mask" for outsiders.
I will just say that woman with Scorpio in Venus are fatal woman.
