What type of effects would one expect to see when Neptune switches from retrograde to direct? Would deceptions start coming to light?IP: Logged |

I would be curious to know anyone's experience out there of Neptune right now especially if you are Taurus, Scorp, Leo, or Aqua. I have it square my Sun right now and it hasn't been easy. Wondering what others have been feeling of neptune like that?IP: Logged |

Neptune has been hanging about the 16 degree position since March 2005 ..
looking at it now I've been having it softly aspecting natal Moon and Venus ..
and conjoining my vertex by the looks of it ....
just checked forward a bit ... it does'nt go back to the 16 deg. position ..well it aint the first time i've been swamp'd by Neptune ... looking back ..
however .. this time i definitely recognised That Feeling ..
figured it was neptune before even checking the astro transits .. so it's a case of .. 'not being fooled again' .. to put it in a nutshell ..
.. not blinded by the Fog .. keeping one eye on Reality ..
.. and one eye on Nept activities ..
.. musical activities have been productive .. think the worst of it has been letting the kettle boil dry ..
whilst being involved in some neptunian activity ..
kept having to go out an buy a new one :-))
actually it happened twice overnight ..
must say i'm glad the house didn't burn down :-)) Nept. has been .. or i should say .. is .. transiting my 8th house ..
.. had have a few scary moments re: thinking about finances ..
.. just thoughts .. 'nowt more .. 'cause the reality be a lot different ..
as i've recently been made aware of .. think the best thing was actually recognizing Neptunes effect as it was building up ..
i.e. That Feeling ..
makes me glad i've been interested in astrology 'n watching my transits .. i'm a taur sun .. but nept. is still 6 deg off prior to squaring it ...
.. i had it opposing my sun in '67/'68 .. there were other major transits at the time ..
big ones at that (from the outer planets) .. t.Sat square Asc 'n t.Pluto squaring natal Moon ..
and tUrns aspecting natal Chiron .. .. but as far as nept be concerned ..
i was deceived in teenage love  .. and took to playing guitar ..
ran away from home as well .. .. must have been rather confused at the time ..
funny thing .. i've never ever forgotten that 'deception' so it's gone direct .. that is good news !!

LuLu... What a great question....  Deceptions of all kinds...even of self...
I would suppose you look to the house it is transiting to find where it applies.. I began a tricky Neptune transit last March when trNeptune squared my MC.. then Mars as they are conjunct and just started to square my Natal Neptune... all of this in Scorpio.... It will now go back and make another pass...
MC 19' Mars 19' Neptune 21' I feel stuck and sidetracked at the moment... Had started the process of changing careers...(Saturn is squaring my Neptune from Leo as well). New things have come to light with regards to Benefits and such that I am now re-thinking it.
Neptune and Uranus are transiting my 1st house... Ye Ha! IP: Logged |

Wow interesting experiences so far, but wow please don't burn down the house lol Yes I am trying to think about house related and I am a little stuck on that one I know where I have had the biggest problem since this transit started so that leads me a question how much credit do you give to co-rulers? My sun is in the 7th house to some say 8th house. My Rising is Libra so 10th house is Cancer, co-ruler of that is the Sun, I have been very disullioned (oops spelling not my forte) with work, career. I use to feel very happy with that, knew where I was going what I was doing. Now I feel lost, unsure of myself, scattered, scared etc..things I just didn't feel before. It's started with Neptune..Also Saturn is affecting my Sun as well as that pesky Neptune..so is it due to co-rulership u think? Still very curious if others have more to share like hearing of others experience. I know people say Saturn is a hard transit but I would say I am not digging Neptune right now.IP: Logged |

Well I have to say this retro has wreaked havoc on my career. It has retroed back into my 10th and I was sacked on one job and walked out on another during an eclipse. I'm hoping all these issues will be over. Now I'll just have issues with friends :\IP: Logged |

Hey! Neptune is transiting my 8th house too. It has been swimming back and forth over my Moon14*Aqua. And it is opposite my Saturn14*Leo (yes it's an interesting natal opposition). I've been teeter tottering back and forth between mundane reality and the meditational bliss. I've been trying my damnedest to keep my focus on the spiritual because with this transit I've honestly felt like smokin somethin and just floating off into the ethers... The closer in degree Neptune gets to my Moon the more I feel like drinking my way into another realm. I have also gotten really good, I should say that I've improved greatly, in doing readings (i.e. intuitive readings through the tarot etc) for myself (and others too). ------------------

The reason I ask about deceptions coming to light is because the Scorp that I had such a tumultuous year and a half with...some might remember the posts and discussions...has finally been called to the mat for his behaviors. You might remember that I have been in quite a love/hate cycle with him due to his having a girlfriend and still wanting to be emotionally and physically close to me. Fights galore. The 2nd of November was his 29th birthday and shortly before that Neptune went direct. About a week ago someone started to send anonymous e-mails to his girlfriend's father in another state saying that the Scorp had been cheating on his daughter. The girlfriend's parents are very wealthy and the Scorp seems to have stayed with the girl mainly because he loves the lifestyle they have. In what I see as an attempt to put the Scorp in the hotseat...the father immediately contacted the daughter and the Scorp and kept them abreast of the e-mails as they arrived. He told the Scorp that he was going to start having him followed. And apparently even sent his cell phone number to the culprit in the hopes to get the inside track on the situation. The Scorp was a nervous wreck because he KNEW he was guilty and immediately focused on finding out who was "betraying" him rather than on fixing the situation with the girlfriend. The girlfriend flew off the handle, immediately decided it was me that he was cheating on her with and told the Scorp that she was not going to call me because I would just lie to her. Again...the girlfriend and the father are both indirectly letting the Scorp know that they do not believe his lies, but he is too focused on making himself smell like roses to see it. The only silver lining in the entire fiasco so far has been that whatever fear I had in the past of sharing my feelings with the Scorp has completely vanished. Despite being told by her father that he was going to have him followed, the Scorp didn't seem to assume that this would include his cell phone calls and has repeatedly called me every day because he is freaking out. He had the nerve twice to ask me to lie for him and I flat out told him that it wasn't going to happen. He has cried and complained and gone straight to the paranoid bad place in all this, but he is so emotionally drained at the moment that it is making for great closure conversations between the two of us. I called him out on the fact that his only concern in all of this is that he got caught, not anyone else's feelings. I reminded him that all the arguments we had had in the past had been designed to avoid this exact situation. I also reminded him that this was karma biting us because we had done something we shouldn't have. I told him to be honest with her and to beg for her forgiveness, but his direct comment was that he would if her parents weren't involved and if he hadn't already lied to them. I made it very clear to him that as soon as I could be sure that his paranoia wasn't going to endanger our work careers, that he and I were finished.I just find it odd that around the same time as Neptune went direct and his Saturn Return is close to being over...all of this came out of the closet and called him to the mat for being such a self-centered and egotistical jerk that thought he wouldn't have to answer for his actions. I'm glad you aren't going to help him.. I do remember your story with him... and I know how hard it is to be free of a Scorpio... He soundd alot like someone i know who would fixate on "who: betrayed him rather than on "who" he betrayed...He would say."My short list is longer than my long list" and the like.. "He would also say that he didin't believe in Karma... but it doesn't matter whether you believe or not its still 360'....He was just peed that his naughty plans were ruined....
You get what you give... this sounds Neptunian to me. Maybe even a slap from Saturn mixed in as well. IP: Logged |
