I was looking at the synastry for my friend and noticed that their houses are almost exactly symmetrical i.e. her First House falls in his First, Second in Second and so on. Obviously, their Ascendants and MC are in a very tight conjunction.

Does anyone know of any special significance of that?

Thank you

Well, I can only speak for myself.

I had this once, a love-interest of mine and me had the same ascendant in tight conjunct (2°), which means that we had our sun, mercury and venus in each other 1st house - we also shared placements of Sun-Venus, Mercury-Sun, Mercury-Mercury, Mercury-AC, Venus-Sun, Venus-Mercury, Venus-Mars, Venus-AC, Venus-Node, AC-Sun, AC-Mercury, AC-Mars, and AC- Node in the same sign, all in the 1st house.
For me it didn`t really work out. WE were too similiar to each other. WE got along well and generally liked each other very much (there was an almost exact Sun-Venus-conjunction), but all in all there was just no passion between us.
I don`t know if this is always so, when the ascendant is the same. Maybe in our case it was a mix of same ascendant and sharing of planetary placements in the signs.

I have a male friend whos Ascendant is conjunct with mine (same for MC etc), so his planets fall in my chart in the same houses as in his. Same with mine, obviously. Not all planets do (some fall on the cusp). I don't have an "oficial" astrological interpretation, but I think that the 2 people can relate almost perfectly to each other and have that familiar feeling about each other. In my case, some of the planets are in the same houses in both charts and they conjunct each other beautifully (for instance, we both have Moon conj Neptune in Sagittarius, in the 11th, at the same degrees! So my 2 planets conjunct his 2 planets in the same house&sign). I found we have many things in common and we react the same in similar situations. We are also very fond of each other, but like DD said, it's more platonic than romantic.

Thank you! That definitely makes sense.

They have quite an active synastry otherwise. 2 strong oppositions, 5 squares, 7 trines and 7 sextiles. So hopefully it will keep things from getting stale.

Also, they have great composite. Sun, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus stellium in 7th House and Moon in 4th.

Yes, that's the article I was talking about! Sorry, I had to travel for 12 hours or so and wasn't able to answer.

Kamilla

Yes, those challenging aspects will make their relationship a little more interesting. Nice composite, indeed! Did you do a Davison chart for them, as well?

I wanted to concentrate on synastry and composite first before looking into Davidson chart.

Here is the story. They met 13 agos ago and then went separate ways. Recently she found out that he has been trying to find her during the past few years and they finally got back in touch. They both live in Europe, in different countries and the plan was for her to visit him during the first two weeks of December. She was SO happy and excited. But then, during this past weekend he told her that he has to cancel due to family problems. She already had plane tickets and everything... Sounds like a classic case of "cold feet" to me

If anyone can give me some insight on their composite and synastry (hers inside)I would really appreciate it.

I disagree with this composite being great unless incredible conflict is considered great thing to have in relationship.

This is a very challenging composite.

This is a triple cardinal, angular house t-square which indicates great stress, conflict in action and initiation. unskillful application for cardinal says that stars but does not finish, impatient, dissatisified, overactive, overcommitted, and forceful

Mercury,Jupiter, and Uranus in Cancer in 7th square the opposition of Moon in Aries in 4th oppose Neptune in Libra in 10th indicates that the passionate, energetic, assertive emotions, feelings in the area of domestic matters are at odds with the aesthetic,relationship-oriented imagination, idealism, inspiration in the area of social status/career, and all this would be in conflict with the emotional, nurturing communications, expansion, and liberation in the are of relationship.

This indicates that the relationship can be unpredictable, unstable, confusing, deceptive, hard pin down, overly optimistic, indulgent as well as involve serious emotional, communication, domestic, and career issues.
definitely a lot of uncertainty, instability in the relationship.

Descendant ruler(Mercury),Ascendant ruler(Jupiter),and the dispositor of the 7th house planets in t-square(Moon)makes the composite even more challenging.

This is definitely not a composite that I would want for anybody.

Planetary Geometrical patterns are very important to look at in charts, and they show main themes. T-square is very challenging planetary geometrical pattern.

I do realise that T-square is very challenging but my thoughts were that in this case it's sort of "balanced out" by the trines and the kite formed by Neptune, Pluto, Moon and Ascendant. Heavy 7th House seems to be an indication of important relationship, not necessarily happy, but significant.

As far as synastry, I was impressed by Ascendant conjunction as I mentioned before and also Vertex conjunction. Of course, I want it to work for my friend in the best possible way and at this pointI am wondering would she be better off to stop right now or there are some good possibilities that shouldn't be overlooked.

Kamilla,

I understand. I noticed those other configurations, but the t-square involving the moon is very challenging..especially involving an outerplanets,Uranus and Neptune..this is triple t-square because there are 3 planets as the apex.

I hope that everything works out for your friend. I am a bit of romantic.

free will is the ultimate factor. I always stress that.

may I get their birthdatas to check out their synastry? I can't read that chart. I also use certain orbs(4 degrees)but 2 degree orb for Uranus,Neptune aspects and 1 degree for Pluto.

As far as I know, novile allows 1 degree orb, so I would say you do have this aspect. Novile is considered 9th Harmonic aspect and in the natal chart it may show the nature of marriage partner.

I am not sure about novile in synastry. You might be able to find some helpful info in this thread
