I was hoping someone could give me some insight on my sister's natal chart. Normally, when I look at someone's chart and see their placements and ASC, I can see why. For example, I can understand why they're an Aries sun/Gemini moon or a Scorpio sun/Cancer moon... you can just tell by their personality. I know that astrology has a LOT more to do than where your planets are located, but my sister's chart does NOT match up with her personality at all.

She is very shy, introverted, and softspoken. If you look at her planets and her ASC, you would think the exact opposite! Anyways, I noticed she had a lot of Saturn aspects....could that have something to do with it? I'm starting to think that house placements and aspects hold a lot more importance than where planets are located. I could be wrong though.

Alright, I've blabbed on enough, here are her placements/aspects. If anyone could give me any insight on this, that would be fantastic. Thanks.

I am an astrologer that believes that aspects are more important than anything. That is one of the reasons why I am leaning more towards cosmobiology which only uses the hard aspects and midpoints involving. Cosmobiologists don't use signs and houses. I focus more on the planetary geometry.

Her Moon square Saturn-Neptune conjunction can indicate shyness, introversion. It's combination of structured, serious, sensitive, emptathic feelings. It can indicate emotional insecurity. She could feel guilty very easily and give up too much of herself that she can feel emotionally drained. She could also feel easily hurt and victimized. I would advise anybody with that configuration to clear away from drugs and alcohol. There could be a potential to be depressed. It's just a possibility. I hope that she never becomes depressed. The good thing about her configuration is that she could emphathize with others..especially those that suffer as well as be structured, disciplined when it comes to idealism, imagination, and escapism. This can be good for restricting one's self from drugs, alcohol, and other Neptunian pitfalls.

I have something similar Moon in Pisces square Saturn-Neptune opposition.

Her Neptune quincunx Ascendant could also indicate sensitivity that she needs time to herself to regroup.

psychic emotional sponges tend to great absorb everything around them, and they need time alone to regroup. Just her moon square neptune alone indicates a psychic, emotional sponge. She has Neptune quincunx Ascendant. Those are similar to Moon in Pisces and Pisces Ascendant. after all, Neptune rules Pisces. Moon-Neptune aspects are similar to Moon in Pisces. Neptune-Ascendant aspects are similar to Pisces Ascendant.

Venus square Saturn can indicate that socializing can be restricting and it could be connected to problems with selfworth. This can indicate shyness..especially when it comes to love, intimacy. It could make it hard for her to be in a relationship. She might feel insecure about herself..especially about her beauty. Heck...she chould be very attractive but doesn't think so. That's often the case with hard Venus-Saturn aspects. I can relate with my Venus contraparallel Saturn. The good thing about Venus square Saturn is that she can be practical, grounded, and realistic about relationships as well as be loyal.
However...her tight Venus square Uranus seems like it would modify that quite a bit.

Her Pluto quincunx Ascendant seems to indicate an intense personality which tends to secretive and private. There could be trust issues rooted to being hurt in the past by betrayal. This can lead to shyness introversion and not socializing well.

I am giving you an interpretation of her aspects that I explained to you.. via Flower Essence Report. It doesn't have one for Pluto quincunx Ascendant. sorry

MOON SQUARE NEPTUNE
You are like a psychic or emotional tuning fork, picking up and resonating to the feeling state and energies of those around you. The development of objectivity, detachment, discernment, clarity, and psychic, emotional, and energetic boundaries is thus essential to your emotional well being. Otherwise you are apt to be dominated by outside forces and probably be very confused! Participating in what are popularity termed "co-dependent relationships" can also arise.

You are easily moved by others' distress and your own emotional idealism, innocence, naiveté, or gullibility. Passivity, evasiveness, escaping into fantasy or addictive, mood altering substances, and self-deception are potential pitfalls on your path. In truth, you do need your hope, your belief, your faith, and some sort of spiritual nourishment on a regular basis, but need to balance it with realism. Because of your sensitive nature, flower essences and other vibrational remedies are very effective for you. Some that may help you with the above issues include:

For being too easily taken advantage of: the flower essences CENTAURY and BLEEDING HEART.

For maintaining strong psychic boundaries and protection from bombardment by others' feelings and needs: the flower essences YARROW, WILD GRAPE, RED CHESTNUT, and RHUBARB, and the gem essence of HEMATITE.

For greater willingness to face your true feelings: BLACK-EYED SUSAN and AGRIMONY.

For addictive tendencies: MILKY NIPPLE CACTUS, MILKWEED, and CALIFORNIA POPPY.

For developing your psychic talents in a balanced way and integrating your spiritual or psychic perceptions into everyday life: the flower essences MUGWORT, GREEN ROSE, and LOTUS.

MOON SQUARE SATURN
Issues of nurturing, emotional security and belonging, roots, caring and being cared for, and the ability to spontaneously express emotion and feelings are significant for you. You are hypersensitive to rejection, neglect, or being left out, and may carry feelings of loneliness and isolation which need to be healed. On a physical level, your digestion may be inhibited. Indifference to food or an inability to absorb and assimilate nutrients, with resultant underweight, may occur. On the other hand, overeating to feed an emotional hunger or inner emptiness is also possible. Discovering what you need to feel truly nourished and giving or providing these things for yourself is very important. Establishing a home that is truly a source of comfort and support may be chief among these. On an emotional or psychological level, a predisposition to be overly serious, conscientious, responsible, or guilty, to withhold yourself from others, and/or to simply shut down emotionally, is evident. You tend to be easily discouraged.

There are a number of essences that can help repeaters these emotional habits, including: ORANGE BLOSSOM ( to increase hope, overcome melancholia), CHERRY (for cheerfulness, verve), BORAGE (to increase optimism and courage), MIMULUS (for being overly cautious, timid, or fearful), PINE (for over conscientiousness, perfectionism, guilt), ZINNIA (for playfulness and joy).

If you tend to put up barriers between yourself and others, these essences support you opening up: MALLOW, VIOLET, WATER VIOLET, ALPINE AZALEA. To allow feelings to flow more freely: PINK MONKEY FLOWER, FUSCHIA, and GOLDEN EARDROPS.

Your relationship to your mother or woman in general may need to be healed if you received inadequate or inappropriate nurturing as a child. MARIPOSA LILY, EVENING PRIMROSE, and POMEGRANATE can be very useful there.

Aromatherpy scents which can be very useful include: GERANIUM (for discouragement or depression), ORANGE (helps alleviate fears and doubts), WINTERGREEN (helps create a positive attitude in overcoming health or other problems). These can be used in massage, as a perfume or in an aromatherapy diffuser or mister.

Energy work, (such as Reiki, polarity, or similar techniques) on the base chakra to alleviate insecurities and fears about survival, and on the sacral and solar plexus chakras to help clear congested emotional energies may prove beneficial, too.

Above all, you need to learn to care for yourself in healthy, fulfilling ways. Along these lines the following books or tapes may be useful to you: "Healing Your Aloneness" by E. Chopich and M. Paul, "Inner Bonding" by M. Paul, "The Recovery of Your Inner Child" by Lucia Capacchione, and "Warming The Stone Child" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

The use of PINK, PEACH, and CORAL in decorating, clothing, etc. is helpful.

VENUS SQUARE SATURN
In many ways, love, intimacy, and relationship are not easy for you, and you may struggle with loneliness, shyness, social isolation, feeling unlovable, unattractive, or unwanted. Or you may have suffered such losses or pain in love that you fear trusting and opening your heart. If so, your coolness and apparent indifference may well reinforce your aloneness. Insecurities about your ability to keep the affection and loyalty of a lover may compel you to put excessive value on commitment and guarantees in the relationship, perhaps maintaining an essentially joyless or even abusive situation for the sake of "security". However, periods of solitude, and even of deprivation and loneliness, may serve to teach you about your own heart, your deepest values, and how to love and care for yourself, which can lay the foundation for honest, deep, and nourishing relations with others. Thus your mature years are apt to be more gratifying than your youth.

Flower essences that can support the opening and healing of your heart, or resolving thorny issues in relationship, include: CROWN OF THORNS (to help let you go of the belief that love and suffering must go together), BLEEDING HEART (for releasing past heartache), HOLLY (a "master essence" for healing the distortions caused by a lack of love: envy, jealousy, hatred or self-hatred), STICKY MONKEY FLOWER and POISON OAK (for fear of intimacy, unwillingness to be vulnerable), MALLOW (to relax barriers to closeness and trust), PEONY and ALPINE AZALEA (for opening the heart and the spirit of love), COLUMBINE (for self-appreciation and self-love, healing feelings of being alienated and unwanted.).

The gemstones which can be worn or taken as an elixir (combined with any of the above flower essences, or taken alone) include: ROSE QUARTZ, PINK TOURMALINE, and RHODOCHROSITE.

Energy work on the heart and sacral centers can be very helpful, also.

Wow....you hit the nail right on the head in that paragraph. She was actually depressed for a long time, she is doing much better now though, which I'm extremely happy about. I hated seeing her depressed. She's just so influenced by those around her, and I guess it does make sense because of her neptune aspects....especially the moon square neptune. I never really noticed that. And thanks for taking the time to do that report. Your info helped a lot. I'm going to start looking more at hard aspects now, they seem to be very significant.
