*this is actually one of those instances where i looked over my thread several times before I posted it, so i feel i was being exceptionally clear. you might have to know about the fixed star natal reports, and read my post well, then you should understand.

are you asking if these are the aspects of an escort/prostitute/hooker?

I'm confused too.

Yes let me rephrase it, it has to do firstly with my stars on my natal fixed star report, i have Spica as rising(which may indicate fame if supported by strong, successful stars, like the first star of my prime Antares) and Mirach (The Receptive Feminine) as my setting. The first star of my prime is (a royal star that promises worldy success) Antares(the heart of the scorpion ) with Venus, which indicates strong success in love, beauty, relationships which all stars combined clearly indicates that of a possible famous courtesan. But the exception with Antares is that you "can't" become obssessed or it will cause a downfall. What i'm asking, is if my Astro data(8th house cusp Aries(no planets), Mars conjunct P.Fort both conjunct MC, Venus Opp. Mars & MC, Venus Square AC, Moon Square Mars, Moon Square Venus, Moon Opp. AC) indicates if I will become obssessed with what the stars have promised me?

but... only you can become obsessed with something...aspects can say you have the potential to, but only YOU can actually become obsessed if you let yourself. and i know about fixed star reports and yada yada, shabang bang, and trust me i believe it to the end of the road but in my opinion, it still comes down to free will...you may have a greater potential than some to become obsessed if you let yourself but its only if you let yourself...

ya, really, MK....

no offense to you neptune5, but I was kind of taken aback by the way you phrased your response. I'll chalk it up to Mercury retrograding but still....just because you think you phrased something perfectly doesnt mean everyone will? after all, a computer can only express so much...

I also did not understand what neptune5 was talking about...the only thoughts that have popped into my mind is that the most incredible sex-appeal and mystery emanates from people who don't speak it, but are it, if you know what i mean

Not sure if this will really apply to your question neptune5..it is just a thought that popped into my head while reading ur post.

I agree.

courtesan is like a prostitute......think of Moulin Rouge.

A courtesan of mid-16th century usage referred to a high-class prostitute or mistress, especially one associated with rich, powerful, or upper-class men who provided luxuries and status in exchange for her services. In Renaissance Europe, courtesans played an important role in upper-class society, sometimes taking the place of wives at social functions. As it was customary during this time for royal couples to lead separate lives—commonly marrying simply to preserve bloodlines and to secure political alliances—men would often seek sexual gratification and companionship from a courtesan. There have been a few isolated cases of courtesans providing services to wealthy females, however.Courtesans usually enjoyed more freedoms than was typical of women at the time. For example, they were financially stable and independent. Being in control of their own resources meant that they did not need to rely on their spouses or male relatives to survive, as was the case for the majority of women.

Modern Times: While the old model of the Courtesan royale still exists it is somewhat rare. After the fall of most Monarchies and the rise of democrartic societies; the role of the courtesan changed with the times. In Government, they have acted as spies such as Mata Hari and alledgedly Tokyo Rose and are not necessarily female or kept women or 'boy toys' for the purpose of companionship or sexual pleasure. Following Machievelli's ideas which he writes about in The Prince; the modern courtesan is politically and correctly called a lobbyist and are more often male than female. They serve special interest groups to get laws and other favors passed or granted for those who hire them with generous funds to purchase gifts for those they seek favors from and also provide lavish entertainments for and to those they seek favors from.

I like the movie "Dangerous Beauty" about the poet(also a courtesan) Veronica Franco, very assertive woman. Her poetry is so upfront, especially for her time period.

I deeply apologize for not speaking clearly and saying I did, i spoke too quickly and didn't realize what I said, what a fault of mine, and um, i'm sorry if a few of my threads mirror each other, i didn't know that eagerly wanting to learn about yourself could be a fault. Thanks for the reply's and corrections, i appreciate everyone's honesty.

"and" you only agreed with lulu because of a past beef you have with Neptune. I noticed you could not add anything of benefit to this thread but to put Neptune down instead of having an ounce of civility. Save your causticness for GU would ya please. We were respectful of your multitude of plaintive posts that bordered on hysterical when you first came here, if you can't do that for Neptune, maybe you could refrain from responding with a jerk of a post.

Neptune,

One thing you have to realize is that many people do not get into the astroids on the level that you do. I am one of them which is why I almost will never post on a thread that asks about them. I find that when one concentrates too much on asteroids, they fail to see what the more personal and powerful planets of their chart have to offer. Then again, I maybe be absorbed in the mulitude of details that I see in a chart that contains the main planets, chiron and the nodes. Other's are more open, but they may not be as open as you.

I understand the reason why you added that disclaimer as you have posted a topic that was above many of our heads and knowledge only to have someone, I believe we know who, just blast you with a caustic posting pointing out that no one would respond to you.

We've been seeing that here more frequently in Soul Unions and Astrology. I'd like to think we can keep it in GU and put on our civility hats here- but there are others that will keep making snide remarks at the drop of a hat. In that case, it's up to knowflakes that have been here for a while to try and quash it ASAP. Neptune, Glaucus and Breezy are just three new knowflakes that come to mind that have been ridiculed for no reason whatsoever.

It's time to stop it....

Oh pid, thank you from the bottom of my heart, i always do, but what people say is most of the time what people want to say, and it never changes the truth or the reality of what is going on. So definitely of those same people, of which i can't really name, i seem to not remember them, want to blast out, thats their choice, and they must reap what they sow, like everyone else.

And let me just say, my original question for this thread was not about asteroids, it was about the fixed star, but same thing goes for it if you figure. And the reason why my threads and posts (particulary this thread) may have seemed to go in the same direction is because once I take in realistic advice, i can try to avoid the negatives(like obssesion, death, etc.) that my stars/charts seem to indicate.

Oh, and about that "beef", i let go of that the moment after it happened, no grudges here, it would be childish to even think in that manner. And thanks again for the clarification pid.

N5 & Pid...my replies weren't meant in a negative way. Reading back over them I see how the wording could have been interpreted that way. My "WOW" comment was directed at the fact that I have not a clue has how to answer your question. It was above my head. The second comment was simply stating that the other thread sounded similar. I should have broadened my response to include that obviously your earlier question hadn't been answered thus the need to restate it in a different fashion. No harm was intended and no attack was intended. Sorry that it came across that way.
