I don't know his birth time so I used 12:00, so only the house placements on the outside (mine) are correct...

I notice we have a lot of oppositions... but also my ascendent conjunct his sun, psyche, and possibly moon. Plus his sun and venus in my 1st house, and jupiter in my 7th. Trine with a very close orb between his north node and my moon (2'30 leo and 2'18 aries).

I am thinking of going on a blind date with him, we've spoken on the phone and get along well, but I want to know if our synastry has any potential (or if it spells disaster.) Thanks!!

hi jujube,
this composite doesn't look that good.
first neptune is biquintile to mars,so there is something shady and manipulative to begin with.i'd say he heavy into meds/alcohol,not that it makes him a bad guy but...........
sun/mars conjunction square to pluto.can indicate a violent nature and hidden motives.mercury square pluto,no communication and more hidden motives.venus square pluto.no interest in emotional connections just raw instinctual sex .venus biquintile to chiron.very controlling and something is really "off" here.even if you just want to party, there is a very sinister vibration around this composite.

the only way to know is to just do it and see! he could be a match made in heaven or a total dud..or somewhere in between.

Thank you for the help!

William, thank you for your detailed response, I have a few questions. Do you have any opinion of the synastry chart vs. the composite? I am not all that familiar with composites, so I'm wondering how you can tell things about one person from looking at it- I thought it described our combined energies, but I could definitely be wrong!

The thing is, neither of us are party-goers, neither of us drink or do drugs, and we are actually both waiting for sex until marriage. But maybe since the composite looks shady, we would be a bad influence on each other?

Thanks!!

I would advise to take composite with a grain of salt. I have a bad one with my mom but we get along swimmingly..I have a great one with my sister..but we do not talk. You have to factor in his enviroment...socities impact on this person and how it has made him into the person he is...how he grew up, and how his family impacted him. These are all large factors too. All these impacts, society, astrology, parental; play off of each other. you are looking at one thing when there are many that make you into you, which you can only find out about by meeting and talking.

hope that helps and sheds some light. don't dismiss with charts, dimiss with personal experience and mental anyalsis of the situation too.

hi jujube,
chart comparison is interesting if you plan to be friends, but you are looking for a merging of your lives then the composite reflects that.it is a cliche that after people get married, then you find out about the real person.why not get thru the games at the start.
if there is as much uncertainty as you say you feel then trust your feelings.
to the side,of course any type of chart depends on the competency of the interpretation.
