Hey everybody ! Transiting Jupiter, is conjucting transiting sun, and i read on Susan Miller's website that this conjuction's a very rare astrological event and it will take a dozen year until it happens again. How can we interpret this aspect to everybody's own unique chart? For example, i will have this aspect in my 5th house, conj. my natal Mars in Scorpio. If anyone could interpret this very rare aspect according to all houses, everyone can benefit from that. Thanks.IP: Logged |

So how can we relate this event to our natal charts and house placement. As i said before this very rare event will be in my 5th house, conj. natal Mars. Someone may have this event in his/her 7th house, for example. Is there anybody that can help us to understand this rare astrological super event, considering house placements. IP: Logged |

Wait a minute... How could this have not happened very often in the years before? I think the sun conjuncts Jupiter like every year.IP: Logged |

Dulce is correct, this conjunction happens about once a year. However, transiting Jupiter conjunct BIRTH Sun happens every 12 years. Not that rare an event, but something to keep an eye on. Many astrologers are more interested in the "Jupiter return", the time when Jupiter returns to the place it was at birth (which also happens about every 12 years). Since Jupiter is the energy of opportunity, a Jupiter return can bring an "opportunity" in the area where Jupiter is positioned in the birth chart. Jupiterally, Tim IP: Logged |

Hey Dolce Luna, Not every sign has this event each year. For example, in 2006, Jupiter conj. Sun occured in Scorpio, next year in Sagittarius. So it takes a dozen year until it happens again in 'same' sign. I hope i could explain it to you. So there's nothing wrong in my question. This event happened in Scorpio this year. Happened in my 5th house according to my own natal chart, it happened in your Xth house, i dont know what, all i want to know is how to interpret this event to houses.IP: Logged |

Slayer,Think of it like this: The sun takes ONE year to go through all the signs of the zodiac. Jupiter takes about TWELVE years to go through all the signs of the zodiac. So the Sun will catch up with Jupiter (in whatever sign it happens to be in) about once a year. Explaining, Tim IP: Logged |

A dozen year = 12 year This event happens in Scorpio, so next time it happens in Scorpio, is 12 years later. Now still hoping to be understood. Thanks.IP: Logged |

As I explained, and as you apparently know, this is NOT a "very rare astrological event" which does NOT "take a dozen year until it happens again". However, Transiting Jupiter in SCORPIO, conjuncting transiting sun in SCORPIO DOES take about 12 years to occur. So you seem to have been referring to a 12 year SIGN conjunction event involving Jupiter and the Sun. However, you did not mention this in your first posting, so I was confused. I wouldn't call this a "very rare astrological event" since it occurs fairly often (i.e., every 12 years from now). Rare events tend to be at least every 100 years, every 1000 years, etc. The meaning of this transit in a person's individual chart will largely depend on aspects transiting Sun and Jupiter make to planets in their chart. People who have transiting Sun and Jupiter in conjunction, square, or opposition to their birth planets may notice a strong effect. People who have transting Sun and Jupiter in trine or sextile position to birth planets may notice a gentler effect. And people who not have transiting Sun and Jupiter aspecting any planets will tend not to feel a very strong effect at all. Understanding and interpreting, Tim IP: Logged |

Hey Tim, I might have written the case confusing. Sorry for that, but what i meant is, it's pretty rare event for house placements. For example, this year that conj. happens in my 5th house which is ruled by scorpio. It will take a dozen year until it happens again in my 5th house. This prevails for everybody's natal chart. Each of us will have this event in another house next year. That's what i am asking. I value your interpretations. P.S This Sun-Jupiter conj. conjucts my Natal Mars, what might this aspect indicate? Not only that, but both will conjunct my natal Jupiter/Uranus. Your enthusiasm is gettin' ME enthused! IP: Logged |

Hey Teologist, Sue g, I wish i'd knew what that placement means, that is why i am asking here. I hope we'll get the answer together. Sue g, this event will affect everybody in different ways, but it's going to be a pleasing one. Actually more than a pleasing one, whatever happens, will be a blast because new moon in scorpio will double, even triple the effect of Sun/Jupiter conj. I am very excited about what is going to happen. Everyone please observe things going around you in these days, and share it here. I wish all of you luck, no matter what the subject is.IP: Logged |
