looks like a ton of planets in taur :-))

well .. even without bt etc .. he's had saturn to deal with as it squared all the taur placements ..
.. '''maybe''' even t.sat conj moon currently ..
and an urns transit .. sextiling the early taur placements .. it's been dancing direct/retro ..
and some neptune squares by transit ..

Thank you for the information Jan_A and Happy Dragon.

I don't know how to explain his behavior, but he seems to be under a lot of unexplained "tension" for just a little guy.

Happy Dragon... the problem does seem to be comng and going out of nowhere... explained by retro/direct back and forth.

Poor little guy can't even explain what his problem is. Marked by strong anger, stubbornness, willfullness that is out of character, even for this uber-taurus.

Question: What do I need to do for him? i.e. give hiim breathing room, be closer, distract him with new hobbies/interests??

This has been most helpful. My heart aches for the little guy. Brings me to tears at times.

.. i've not re-looked or done the chart with county co-ordinates .. and .. i'm sort of flitting about .. think i've a mars transit on .. feels like it in any case .. but reading that .. made me laugh (in an empathetic sense) ..

I've noticed he is very agressive indeed with his affection. He can't love you without hurting you in the process. Then I'm angry with him and his poor feelings are hurt.

The bullring... in an abstract sense it makes sense. Gives me a mental image to keep in mind when dealing with him. He is truly a sweet, sweet boy. He's just incredibly intense as of late and I know I need to help him find his outlet.

Has he been like this since the baby came. I have heard other women say their first born behaves a little out of character.....? Apparently my sister wouldnt even look at me?

Maybe that has something to do with it....maybe not?

Uranus square his Sun/Saturn/Jupiter/Mercury/Venus could explain how his behaviour comes and goes out of nowhere.

With his Sun conjunct Saturn/Jupiter in Taurus he should be very ambitious when he gets older..you probably already see the signs of his determination...he needs to have something to dedicate his energy and will on. With Saturn conjunct Sun things may come slowly to him and after long and painstaking trials and work...and the uranus square these planest could maintfest his frustrations from this into aggression.

HD...such simple suggestions

Sue... I'm sure some of it has to do with the little one, but I must say, I'm impressed with the way he's stepped up as big brother! He was dead set against her before she was born, and now he can't leave her alone. Usually he speaks up if he feels he's lost attention to the baby, so I'm glad for that.

But you know how when you're close with your little ones (and dear Sue, I know you know! ) you know when it's something else that's troubling them. This feels to me like something that goes beyond the realm of "because..."

I don't think he knows, himself.

with t.Sat to Moon .. he could be feeling fearful of a potential loss ..
and feeling restricted in expression maybe .. i mean .. in his mind ..
so saturns nature of over-compensation comes to mind ..
if you look in my sig link .. maybe read some of the saturn data ..
you'll see a common thread in the 'apparent' fear nature ..
and .. we all have some reactions to a percieved fear ..

.. in the chart pic below .. notice t.Chiron approaching natal Neptune ..
he could probably be feeling ~ imagining that somewhat ..
as far a Saturn goes .. it goes retro in dec. .. untill 18 deg Leo ..
in may '07 it turns direct again
so .. it will re-aspect by square his Merc and oppose his Urns placement

t.Saturn to Taurean Merc (same here)
well .. there be potential stubborn anger thoughts in that one .. :+
and ..over the past number of weeks ..
there has been a whole bunch of planetary activity in Scorp .. opposite his sun plus :-)
and recent Lillith to hic IC ..

~ list are natals ~ date is for transits ~

i guess one thing to keep an eye on .. astrologicaly ..
is the progression of Mars (and Merc.) to oppose his natal Pluto
ie. .. Mars is currently by progression about 2deg off from the exact opposition ..
.. somewhere between ages 8 and 9 it will be exact ...

and .. as that progression gets stronger ..
i guess it could make his taurean emotions somewhat more intense ..
( ~ that 'inner' to 'outer' thread link may be of interest ~ )
as and when he gets transits from the short termers .. e.g mars .. etc
( t.mars be opposing his natal merc at moment .. i.e past few days )
so obviously .. recently he's had Mars oppostions to all his Taur placements ..
probably over some weeks ..

and if the houses are correct .. then .. possibly with cancer Asc ..
the Moon and it's transits will may a pronounced effect on how he behaves
.. sure has enough in the 11th .. 'friendship' will no doubt be of importance ..

( hah .. just looked at my chart .. for age of 6 .. .. I'll spare you the details :-) )
two really early things i remember .. someone had left a set of bongos in the house ..

Oooo so he has a Cancer ASC.? gotta becareful with this one...make sure he gets lots and lots of reassurance...and love. he may not say/show it, but he'll hurt deeply inside if ignored, he'll automatically think you don't love him. the cancer asc can be simply bizzarre...can't give too attention because you don't want the child to be spoiled, but you don't want to be distant because they'll think they're not loved. and they're extremely sensitive. but your son may be growing up in a better environment than me, and since you're aware of this you are already preventing future difficulties.
