The Mars and Jupiter in 10th is a pretty strong placement, is he in a high profile career? People with this Jupiter placement advance quick in whatever their in, his chart screams ambition

This is what pops out for me...

I like the Sun sextile Jupiter (0deg) - brings him luck, makes him a positive, giving and optimistic guy. Sun trine Moon is great - shouldnt be conflicts between his emotions and ego. Not sure how Venus sq Mars manifests...though Venus trine Neptune is a nice one and Venus sextile Saturn is good for commitment. Sun square Uranus I would watch out for - that could show a temper all of a sudden, out of no where. Jupiter conj (Sun sextile) MC is great for social standing/career..and opposite (sun trine) IC it would be good for home life too.

and,

With all the planets at the top of the chart, this person focuses all their attention on the outer world. See Step 1 below for more information.

Outerly,

Tim

Cap and Jupiter are at the sexy 5th degree.

What does he do? He should obviously be good at Scorpionic professions. In the business world he'd be good in investment banking, or being a stock broker. If he wants to help people on the soul level his chart seems to suggest he'd be a good psychologist. There could be an interest in healing.

As well as sun in 8th
First thing I noticed was venus in the 7th in leo - don't know why. I guess he'd be quite a dramatic charmer (squ mars)

And NN in 6th conj mars - work work work, and since NN is in Cancer - something to do with shrewdness, like the stockmarket as was mentioned.

mercury sextile uranus is a aspect of intelligence especially in scientic matter.it also gives very precise intuition and is very good for astrological and other occult subjects.the mars square venus is ver sexual/socially and usually shows that children are a forgone conclusion.sun square to uranus give a very impulsive nature and can be accident prone ,especially with the sun/uranus mispoint conjunct saturn.though this position can ground his "crazy" uranus square sun. whereas this square is usually explosive, the saturn element gives a tendency to smolder instead of explode.
the pluto/mercury midpoint square the ascendant shows mental blocks at times,it is also a aspect of blackouts,so i would not recomend getting drunk,as it usually ends in blackouts.

What other career paths look promising? He said hes always been interested in healing, and psychology...What made you say that AG? was it because the 8th house sun?

It seems to me he has a double or triple Scorpio concentration in his career fields. His Sun obviously got the combination of Virgo with Scorpio ruled 8th house, so there's one. Then there's the MC in Scorpio, two. Then there's Jupiter conjunct MC in Scorpio, three.

As far as other career fields I'm really drawn to his retrograde Neptune. It's tied to the 12th house, Sagittarius, the Moon in Cap in the 12th, Pluto and Saturn in Libra in the 9th, and Venus in Leo in the 7th. What does it all equal? I can only take intuitive jabs at it. One of my first thoughts was that of a pastor. I even looked up Dr. Shuller's chart (as I know he's a Virgo -I used to attend his church growing up). It's still a pretty strong possibility if that were ever to press upon him as something he'd like to do. He'd probably be pretty exceptional in that area.

I also see art strongly represented in this Neptunain conglomeration of energies. There's the obvious Neptune at home in the 12th house and Venus (in Leo) at home in the 7th house connection tied to two planets (including chart ruler) in Libra, which seems to be pretty significant artistically. I see the expression of extraordinary and in some way spiritual dreams.

So there you have my clumsy reading. It's taken me literally hours to make this post as I've worked slowly through how I would associate things.

I didn't even look at his North Node. It's in Cancer, and very nearly on the Descendant. He must be very comfortable in areas dealing with career pursuit and considering oneself before others. His big goal for this lifetime must be reacquainting himself in being involved with and nurturing others.

You're welcome... ...and welcome to the board.

Were you in the Marines? I know another Virgo who was in Recon in the Special Forces (if that's what they're called - the secret guys). I was in the Navy myself as an Operations Specialist, which probably has nothing in common with Spec OPS.

I was in the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) out of Ft. Campbell, KY. Yourself a sailor, eh? Glad to meet ya, I've quite a few friends from a couple Seal teams I worked with during OEF / OIF.

Thanks a million for your input, it is truly appreciated.

Savvy,

Your chart is closer to a bundle chart than a bowl chart, since your planets take up much less than half the chart. More from Astrologer Bob Marks about the bundle chart: http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/bundle.htm

Linking and correcting,

Tim
