Is it useful to look at a composite and see how it compares to the individuals' own charts? What kinds of aspects are favorable- hard ones like squares and oppositions, or easy ones like trines and sextiles?

For instance, what would it mean if someone's sun squared a composite mars or venus? Is that good or bad?

I think I read about this in cafeastrology, in the article the astrologer said she always looked at the individuals planets against the composite to see how they reacted to the relationship, for instance if one person has more planets conjunct the composite planets they may be more in to the relationship than the other person.
