My father has a Cancer sun and Libra ascendant, and the guy I'm interested in has a Libra sun (in the 4th house) and Cancer ascendant. They both have air sign moons. They both have Mars in Libra. They both have their N. Node in Aries within 1 degree of each other. They both have "bucket" shaped charts, with Jupiter at the handle.

My father had a Pisces Moon like my maternal grandfather. that's also my moonsign too.

My girlfriend has Moon in Scorpio and Saturn in Scorpio like my mother. She has Moon-Pluto aspect like my mom. My girlfriend has Moon conjunct Pluto,and my mom has Moon square Pluto. She has Venus in 2nd like my mother. They both have watersign Ascendants. My girlfriend has Pisces Ascendant,and my mother has Cancer Ascendant.
Both have Jupiter-Ascendant aspects. My mother has Jupiter conj Ascendant,and my girlfriend has Jupiter square Ascendant. Both have Mercury parallel Pluto. They both have Moon-Nessus aspects. My mother has Moon oppose Nessus,and my girlfriend has Moon square Nessus. My mother has Sun parallel Jupiter,and my girlfriend has Sun trine Uranus. My mother has Sun parallel Uranus,and my girlfriend has Sun trine Uranus. My mother has Mercury conjunct/parallel Uranus,and my girlfriend has Mercury trine Uranus. My mother has Venus oppose Chiron,and my girlfriend has Venus parallel Chiron. My mother has Venus parallel Ascendant,and my girlfriend has Venus sextile Ascendant. My mother has Sun in Gemini parallel Mercury,and my girlfriend has Sun conjunct Mercury. My mother has Mars sextile Saturn,and my girlfriend has Mars oppose Saturn. Both have Mars in Cardinal signs with my Mom having Mars in Capricorn,and my girlfriend has Mars in Aries. My mother has Venus square Neptune,and my girlfriend has Venus sesquiquadrate stationary Neptune. My mother has Mercury parallel Venus,and my girlfriend has Mercury parallel Venus. My mother has Neptune sesquisquadrate Pisces Midheaven,and my girlfriend has Neptune conjunct Midheaven. My dad is a Scorpio (don't know his other placements) and my bf has Jupiter in Scorpio, 8th house (singleton). So there's definitely something in it.

However, I do love leo men and often wonder if its the warmness that I pick up on that I felt when I was doted on as a child by my dad. I would say that I have seen guys with similar physical characteristics to me dad and have been attracted to them. However, I adore Gems a lot and neither of my parents have this in their chart.

I was born 2 weeks early after a 23 hour labor. I was induced,or I would have been born later. Mom said something about me falling asleep in the womb,and the labor stopped. She even told me that I didn't cry when I came out until they poked me.

If I was born day before, I wouldn't have Moon in Pisces,lunar apex t-square,Sun trine Moon,nor Moon in alignment with Sadalmelik,Fomalhaut,nor a Moon-Ancha occultation. I would have Moon in Aquarius with same birthdate as Bill Gates.

Once I dated one who in our "flirting getting to know each other" phase would play act when I was sick with the cold, as in "the poor little girl is sick" blah blah like my dad used to do and I thought, WTH! This cant be, this guys an Aries! [my dads a Pisces] And it turns out that they had conj ASC!!! Aggh deliver me from hell.

Now it turns out my love interest current has sun conj venus and moon [same combo as my dad, same as my grandpa, albeit in diff signs].

Makes me wanna take a cold shower.

Incidentally, I think the relationship our parents had can affect the kind of relationship we have. Like with me, my parents separated when I was real young. My dad would visit once a month, or every two months. He lived abroad and travelled the world…and had this glamorous exciting life, my mum would stay in cold grey England with her parents, waiting for him…sorta. So at that age, I started believing that in relationships, you are either the one who stays and waits at home or the one with a better life.
A nightmare for me is becoming a stay at home mum. Not to say being that would be bad…just not for me.

To be honest, I prolly attract guys that are like both my grandpas tall, strong and independent.
