Trying to determine how each rising would speak i.e. on the phone etc., or when meeting someone.

Say a Leo Rising was on the phone, would they have a loud voice. My guess is it could be loud.

I knew someone one time and when they spoke on the phone, every word was spoken loudly like a commanding voice.

I would imagine that a caner rising would speak softly as would the other water ascendants.

Yep...I have Virgo Ascendant,and I speak softly with a high pitched voice. Women told me that my voice is soothing. People told me that I sound gentle. Some people asked me if my parents were home. One woman told me that I sound like I am 14 years old. Some people mistake me for being gay because of my voice. I tend to mumble and not annunciate well.
I can speak rapidly at times,and that's why psychiatrists misdiagnosed me as having a bipolar disorder. I often have loose,tangential,disorganized speech, and that's why psychiatrists misdiagnosed me as having a schizoaffective disorder. That's all connected to my cluttering linked to my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia. I do tend to overcompensate by thinking and planning my thoughts before I say stuff. I can be hesitant when speaking. Because of my auditory input speech lags,I tend to have a delays when answering people. I have problems with demand language a lot more than spontaneous language.

I think that it's also reflected by Mercury and 3rd house....that has to do with communications.

I feel that the combination of my Mercury conjunct Venus in Scorpio in 3rd as well as my Neptune in 3rd oppose retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th indicate my softspoken,high voice stuff. Also my Mercury-Venus-Neptune parallel contraparalleling Saturn in declinations.

Im very chatty

Or very quiet

Not much in between.

I do talk fast when Im nervous, impatient, in a hurry or have other things on my mind. I also mumble when I have other things on my mind. But I can also articulate very well...like a news reporter.

When speaking Im medium-pitched...when im screaming it's higher pitched and when im angry it's lower pitched

Seriously though...Im relatively soft-spoken (pisces moon?), unless I have the open forum to speak, or unless Im in an argument or debate (merc conj mars). My normal voice regularly gets mistaken for my Scorpio sisters on the phone...she has a Taurus moon/Pisces asc.

My Gem sister who's chart is not too different from mine, but has an Aries Moon, Virgo Asc, Taurus merc - has a loud voice and doesnt know how to whisper (seriously). Theres also a sharp, piercing (yet subtle) tone to her voice.

my father had Pisces Moon disposited by stationary retrograde Neptune in Virgo,and my mother told me that he was more softspoken than me.

I almost always get mistaken for my virgo mother on the phone and the thing is, her voice is medium pitched. And also, I get mistaken for my aunt too. She and I share a virgo moon.

If I've thoroughly prepared for a presentation or speech and know *exactly* what I'm going to say, I can speak loud and clearly. Heated debates and manic excitement make me raise my voice too. I've been told I have a kinda nice voice, should use it more, do I sing too? Ehh no, you won't catch me at a karaoke bar unless I'm p1ss drunk.

I have a Virgo Rising, and I can get pretty loud. I talk really fast, though, and sometimes that causes me to stutter, because I'm talking so fast, I get lost in what I'm saying - doesn't help that my brain's five sentences ahead, either! I also tend to be very melodramatic, and even though I communicate easily, I'm often told that I talk too much and have the tendency to dominate a conversation. That's the downside.

Same here...we're the loudest family on the block...even tho some of us seem to be soft-spoken there always yelling and loud banter here everyday.

look at him. He has a Pisces Moon. sheesh..some people even told me that I sound like him......people thinking he's gay.....well...you can see how people could think I was gay....ugh

he also has Mercury contraparallel Neptune. I have Mercury parallel Neptune. He has Virgo Sun,and I have Virgo Ascendant.

In person, I must admit..I'm quite brash with a loud voice... so it's an interesting contrast
Thats with my Libra Ascendant..

My mom is a Cancer Ascendant, it's so funny. She's a Capricorn and not to say Cappies aren't sweet but she's tough woman. Tough as nails...and with a Gemini moon she's can have a cutting tongue...

However, when dealing with someone on the phone she's sweet, gentle, caring, and welcoming.... It's a magnificent mask..

My voice is pretty low for a female actually. It also projects really well and I can be very loud. Otherwise, there is nothing really much to say in that I can be cutting, blunt, talk fast, and funny when I want to be.
