hi,
the saturn/mars conjunction would intially indicate a distance or reserve in this relationship.but the loose jupiter sextile indicates that though reserved there are strong family loyalties.the jupiter can indicate a important part played by the grandparents.
the mercury/sun conjunction square to uranus indicates a separation so some sort.the uranus element is also often found in adoptions.
the venus/chiron opposition opposed to the saturn mars conjunction is a bit more ominious,as it can show a"unhealthy" relationship, especially if this is a father/daughter chart.
the trine to pluto to the venus indicates that whatever trials are indicated that healing is likely.
the moon at midheaven makes me believe that this is the chart of a mother/daughter.
the separation, seems to been from the father figure.

tux,
the sign ^ people use on here meaning to "bump up" the thread when it gets low on the list. ps - love your username

william,
so amazing, yes it is a mother daughter chart and there is strong influence with the grandparents and a separation from the father. i am always so in awe of your talents.

is there any opinion in general regarding the heavy neptune/12th influence? i can think of deception as a possibility with the sun merc sq to neptune, but with the sun merc conj in the 12th - does this mean a hidden or "spiritual" relationship?

hi arnicka,
the 12th house can be thought of as the end of a cultural cycle and hence the accumalations of the good and bad karma.with the sun and mercury in the 12th ,it can indicated that the relationship was conditioned by circumstances pre-existant to the relationship.hence there may have been tensions on the relationship that were not caused by the relationship and that could not be undone by wotking on the relationship.
it is difficult to isolate thr effect of neptune because it is conjunct to uranus.the uranus element shows a separation.it could be that the neptune indicates there were hidden motives for the breakup.the square to neptune could indicate tthere were spiritual or religious or cultural differences that contributed to the breakup.neptune can also indicate that substance acoulfd have been involved

(Hi william, I'm really interested in composites. I have Robert Hand's 'Analyzing Human Relationships,' but no diff from Astrodienst info. Any suggested reading material? I know Tim and chrissymgreen are good at this stuff too.)

Sorry, back to Arnicka's thread.
