Ok, trying to upload a picture for the first time, hope it works.. 
I'm just wondering if there is a name for a chart like this, seems like all the planets are bunched up in two parts of the chart opposite each other.
I've been told that there is a lot of energy in my chart, is that because it seems like everything is in opposition? Just wondering..  ------------------

It looks like a see-saw, though Venus is a little far apart from the upper group.

I have a yod? Cool, heh heh. I haven't really gotten that far into astrology yet as to see patterns like that, but I have heard about them.. Just didn't know what to look for.. ------------------

Wow, I just read about something I understood to be a fairly new pattern, The Boomerang, wich essentially is a Yod, but if there is any oppositions to the planet the Yod is pointing at it becomes a Boomerang. Anyone know more about this pattern?
My Yod points to the sun, and I have both Uranus and Jupiter oppose the sun.. I don't understand the least bit of this, but it looks scary, heh heh------------------

You don't have a Boomerang planet, Fluke -- it would be located at 26-29 Scorpio..... the Boomerang's "release point" is opposite the apex planet (your Sun) and semi-sextile (halfway between) both base-planets. Since the semi-sextile is a minor aspect, I would only allow a 2deg orb maximum.....Yods:

Ok, I'll take your word for it, it just seemed logical to me that the planets opposite the apex planet would be Boomerang planets... I obviously don't get this, heh heh------------------

The thing about the aspect patterns is that ALL the planets must be linked somehow. Your planets opposing the Yod apex are linked just to the apex, they don't form an aspect with the other 2 planets. IP: Logged |

Tina,Different astrologers will tell you different things about what is and is not an aspect pattern. Personally, I would call it a Boomerang, since there is an opposition to your Yod. The focus of this Boomerang would be in the 5th house (self-expression, also performing arts, hobbies), perhaps indicating an interest in performance or hobbies of some kind. Ok.. *trying to get my head around this* So this means that the energy of the original Yod will ha kind of a release in 5th house because the planets opposing the apex of the Yod are located there?Btw, I really noticed the fact that you used my real name in your reply, Tim It sort of jumped right at me, heh heh. Strange really, that I should have this pattern in my natal, because I've always been a big believer in Fate. I don't think there is such a thing as pure coincidence, there's a reason for everything, I've always felt that. Things may look like coincidence, but they're not.
But why chains of events leading up to something are sometimes veeery long and intricate, I have no explanation for.. Maybe so we won't think it was meant to be..? The name Fluke have been with me for many years now, even though I don't think anything is a fluke, but the reason I have it is because I'M seemingly a fluke, actually I shouldn't have been born, since the doctors told my mom she had become sterile because of a complication after my brothers birth.
But, hello, 8 years later, there I was, heh heh.
