Has anyone cut the astrology cord in their lives for a certain amount of time? Its getting to a point where I feel I need to take a break from it, but I am so consumed with astrology, I study it everyday, I get much joy from it, but I think the consumation is spilling over into my life where its taken a sick hold of me, I dont know if i should let it go completely or take a break, has anyone ever felt this way? Did you always come back to it? thanks

It has happened to me several times before. I felt like I was too obsessed with astrology and I stayed away from it for a while. Then after some time I get involved in it again.I get sick of it from time to time.

I know what you mean. I don't make a move without looking at the moon ephemeris. God forbid the moon is void...

With all these precautions, my life is not a resounding success. I mean, I am doing okay, but it could be better. And there are tons of people who are leading very successful lives (at least from the outside looking in) without consulting the stars.

So, I was thinking that starting on the new moon in Capricorn (Hehe, using astrology to get out of astrology, I am nuts, LOL) I will have a more laidback approach and will use the Law of Attraction instead to manifest my life.

I know what you mean. I feel the same way. Even if it's all I think about, there are times when real life comes into place hehe. I'd love to spend all my days with my head in the clouds (or stars), but it can't be. Besides, a break is always good from time to time. Makes the heart go fonder . It's my strongest passion, it makes everything else pale. But it's not my calling for this life...

Over the years I've had to do that. I think it's a good thing tostep back once and while and take a broader prespective.

I think if you feel weighted down or anxious from astrology you definitely nee to take a break and shift your focus onto something else. When I've done that in the past, it's always beenf or the better. I know for some people they don't come back to astrology, but I always have. Taking a breaking and coming back to it always helped me regain my priorities about doing astrology, and reaffirm the good things I've gained from it.

Personally... Astrology is just a subject of interest to me rather than a dogma that interacts with my life.

I just wanted to have a look on the other side of the field so to speak Lol! Psychology places importance on environment and nurturing on human behavior, coupled with inhereted traits from biology. I just want to see if the evironment aspect extents far beyond just the simple ground we roam upon.

Everything in moderation - balance it out. I don't read or study my astrology every day - I'd get so bored if I did. So what you're saying I find is quite normal and no worries.

I try to avoid depending on astrology when it comes to this. Then you'd loose yourself in it - and before you know it you're not making your own decisions anymore.

It sucks when you're even dreaming about it at night. Its like "Oh, that neptune conjunction___"..... in your sleep. I guess I should accept that as a part of having mars in the 3rd (My mind almost never sleeps). But thats when I know I need to fall back a lil'.

So yeah, another one for "everything in moderation".

I think if you are feeling like this, then you should have a break from it. I tend to drift in and out of it. But I know what you mean about sickness and obsession, I'll just analysing things endlessly with it sometimes.

I get obsessed with it... it starts off fine but then I find things to get anxious about and then I realise I have to step back and LIVE my life instead of analysing it. That's when I quit... it's the transits that get me more than anything else. I think it's about time I took a break again because I'm thinking about it every day... and there are other things to be doing... like living.
