*SORRY DOUBLE TOPIC POST* ...

Ok, I was randomly searching google and I stumbled across this artice... http://www.stariq.com/Main/Articles/P0001516.HTM .

About children who are born pre-mature and the correlation between certain natal aspects that show up in their chart.

Some notes from the article...it states:

"Another astrological challenge that is common in the charts of preemies is difficult aspects between Mercury and Saturn. Mercury is an indicator of mental development, language and social skills. Even when preemies survive the physical challenges, they still have to deal with developmental delays. Albert Einstein is a well-known example of this; he was three years old before he started talking. Einstein had an exceptional mind, but he was also born with his Mercury conjunct Saturn, the planet of delay."

and...

"This study showed that preemies were three times more likely than the average person to be born with Sun conjunct Neptune or with Saturn square their Sun. Compared with full-term births, preemies were twice as likely to be born with Saturn conjunct their Sun or with Neptune square their Sun. Mars is another astrological indicator of physical development, and this planet is typically challenged by Saturn or Neptune in the birth charts of preemies."

and etc...

I found this all interesting, because I myself was born three (3) weeks pre-mature and have both a Sun square Neptune aspect; as well as a Mercury square Saturn aspect in my natal chart.

Keep in mind this is only ONE source I have found on this subject...so it may be a little far-fetched to conclude that all preemies' must have at least one of these aspects in their natal chart.

Anywho, I just wanted to see what everyones' opinion was on this topic.

Interesting article. I'm a preemie too. My Sun is opp Saturn, Moon is sq Saturn. My Mars is opp Saturn by 10 degs, so not sure if it counts. Regardless, my physique looks pretty frail, predisposed to osteoporosis if I don't drink my milk.

I have a communication problem, but still trying to figure it out astrologically. Is that really consistent among preemies? Was never sure.

um... I say let's use a really good test subject. My daughter was born at just 28 weeks gestation (Three Months Premature!)

The doctors at the neonatal intensive care unit gave her odds of just a 4% chance of making it out of the hospital alive!

She did live at the hospital for 2 and a half months before gaining enough strength to come home still she came home 11 days before her due date

I am happy to say that she has just turned 3 years old!

Anyways I have never done any study to her chart other than to see what signs her planets were in. So feel free to disect it, ask questions, and comment in anyway you will.
Her data is as follows:
Born on November 24th, 2003 in Boise, Idaho
at 2:13 AM

^ Oh my goodness, thank goodness she made it!!! She must be a lovely girl.

Her date is as followed:

Major aspects

Sun Conjunction Moon 6°04
Sun Square Uranus 2°40
Sun Sextile Ascendant 5°33
Moon Sextile Neptune 2°58
Mercury Square Mars 0°14
Mercury Square Jupiter 1°41
Mercury Conjunction Pluto 1°00
Venus Sextile Uranus 2°19
Venus Square Ascendant 0°34
Venus Opposition Medium Coeli 1°19
Mars Opposition Jupiter 1°27
Mars Trine Saturn 5°23
Mars Square Pluto 1°14
Jupiter Sextile Saturn 3°57
Jupiter Square Pluto 2°41
Saturn Quincunx Neptune 1°46
Uranus Quincunx Ascendant 2°53
Uranus Trine Medium Coeli 3°37

Interesting enough, no sun-neptune and/ or saturn (to sun or mercury) aspects. However, there is a (physical development) Mars-Saturn aspect (a trine) which is mentioned in the article.

Thanks for replying!

Anyone else have anything to add?

I defy that article completely.

I was born 7 weeks ahead of time. I have Sun/Mars/Venus/Mercury sextile Saturn (and Jupiter).I really have none of the aspects mentioned in that article.

Interesting enough, I have many similarities with Spirit's girl:

Comparing to her daughter, I have:

Sun square Moon.
Sun square Ur
Moon trine Neptune
Mercury conj Mars
Mercury square Pl
Mars sextile Saturn
Mars square Pl (and Ur)
Jupiter trine Saturn
Saturn quincunx nep

I'll be another one to buck the trend and say I was born 4 weeks overdue and weighed 11.5 pounds at birth. I have sun/merc opp saturn. My merc is also rx. I have never had mental or physical development issues whe growing up except maybe I was a bit anti-social (still am).

Its because I talk a lot

But in the physical world I actually don't like socialising too much. I don't really trust people or like most people.

The topic was About children who are born pre-mature not born post-mature.
Hope this helps?

pre-mature birth= Most babies are born about 40 weeks after the first day of their mother's last menstrual period. But about one in eight babies arrives sooner, according to the March of Dimes. A birth that takes place more than three weeks before the due date is considered a premature birth.

A premature birth gives a baby less time to develop and mature in the womb. The result is an increased risk of medical and developmental problems, including underdeveloped lungs. If you go into labor too early, your doctor may try to delay your baby's birth. Even a few extra days in the womb can promote significant development.

Post-mature Birth=
Probably nothing unusual. Although it may seem to have magical qualities, your due date is simply an educated guess about when your baby is most likely to arrive. It's perfectly normal to give birth one to two weeks before or after your due date. In fact, only an estimated 5 percent of women give birth on their due dates. You're not considered overdue until two weeks after your due date. This condition is rarely, if ever dangerous to the developing fetus. It can however be dangerous for the mother.

im born three weeks earlier.
and i have some pretty horrible placements.

Sun square saturn
Moon square saturn
Saturn in 3rd house
Sun in 12th house
Mars opposite neptune

My saturn in third house restricts my daily life (3rd house), and can cause many communication problems. Restricts early education. They said it may indicate problems with siblings but i get along very well with my sister though. But i do appear very anti social and awkward at times. Also, sun and moon square saturn, i do have problem with my parents.
