I haven't been sleeping too well this week so far, and (I think) as a result I've been a little extra emotional and moody and just feeling crap at times.

Today I went to astro.com and found out I have Venus Square Chiron. I just looked and if the transit reports are in real time I'm currently within one degree of a perfect square. (Ah, I notice now that they aren't in real time. They're at 0:00:00 UT.)

So here's the transit interpretation from them:

I'm wondering if this transit could be contributing to my less-than-sound sleep.

Oh, you know what? I also have Sun Square Moon in transit, which I have natally as well, but that could also be contributing...

... *curse curse* I've got Moon Square Chiron as well!!! WTF?!

If it's these transits, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 23RD!!! Then it'll just be Jupiter sitting on Neptune (which I'm glad to learn about now rather than later - thanks for the warning astro.com ).

A.G. what's been going on ..

Mars is in sag .. has just past (1 deg.) conjoining your venus
Lillith has just passed conjoining your moon .. then pluto .. and is about 1 deg past a square to your sun .. and a few deg from opposing your chiron ..
over the last 4 days the moon has been moving thru sag and cappy .. so you get a bunch of conjunctions plus a couple of squares from her movements thru those two signs ..
(edited to add ) .. yeah venus has been squaring your chiron over the past two days .. she seems to be moving quite fast .. and will conjoin your jupiter over xmas :-))

Yeah, another bad sleep last night. I even drank two beers to see if that would help. It helped mellow me out, but didn't help me sleep. It seems like my body gets to rest, but my mind doesn't seem to want to shut off. I do have dreams, but when I awake from them I don't feel like I was asleep. I'm so glad most of this bad stuff will be over tomorrow.

Gotta try for a good sleep tomorrow night. I have to catch a flight at 7:30 in the morning Sunday.

AG I totally feel your pain, and makes me wonder about Venus semisquaring my Chiron right now. I haven't been able to sleep well for a week either, last night I gave up and stayed up till 6 AM playing videogames because when I went to bed I'd just roll around for hours. Gah!!

I'm kind of surprised a 12.2 Meg song just started playing instantly. Thought I'd be waiting some. I'm listening now. This first one sounds a bit like my mind in my sleep lately. I'm not sure if it would calm my brain or stimulate it....

..oh here's a calmer part. Kinda dreamy. I like this part. (First half of the 3rd minute)

EDIT: (Time has passed. I'm listening to the second one.) This is good stuff. I love the ambient quality of it. It's so gracefully sparse in places. I love how everything seems to fade in and out. Stuff like this always seems so Geminian to me. It's like tangent after tangent.

Well acoustic, you have a very active transit chart...lots going on, mostly positive.

I would have thought...from what you said that Neptune was involved..perhaps square or opposition to your Moon..or Sun but more likely your Moon, but no.

23 alluded to Neptune as well.

And the current transit for chiron is Aquarius

Jupiter's sitting on Neptune apparently, but would it expand my dreams to a waking state? It really feels like my mind isn't shutting down. Of course Mars is nearby as well.

I have high hopes for tonight. Should be coming out of the squares, and it's the weekend, so hopefully everything will go well.

If my mood's any indication, then it already is. I feel much less stressed than I've been feeling.

Yeah, that Neptune sextile Mercury has been happening for awhile. It's nearly exact in the chart I posted. Will be losing it shortly.

You know, it's interesting to see where Neptune is currently transitting. I hadn't noticed. I wonder how much it transitting my MC might have influenced me to pick up and read Think And Grow Rich. That's interesting.

Well, I don't know about Neptune conjuncting your Midheaven as a causative agent acoustic...but it's still hanging in there.

Your Second House trines Fortune now too.

As for your mood and stress, Mars squares Saturn and it's applying so it will be around for a while.

I thought at first..when I looked at your transits...that you might be having woman problems

hmmm....

You might have had problems sleeping because your n-neptune was recently conj t-mars. I imagine mars would act as both a stimulant and antagonist to neptune indicating that you might have had probs sleeping

t-Moon is also semi-squ or will be very soon semi-squ n-nep indicating that you might have had trouble last night. Notice how moon is in the 8th house and roughly squaring your 12th house cusp. This will pass in the next few hours

There is also a squ between t-ura and n-nep which might have affected you in the last year or bit. Again ura is probably not letting you sleep too well, too much of a shocker and stimulant. It would've also in recent years squ your n-mars (ruler of 12th) and made you quite irritable and maybe sleep deprived (now passed).

Yeah, I hadn't thought about the Saturn Square Mars. I don't think that would have caused this stuff this week, though.

My girlfriend and I have been good. I wish I could bring her with me for Christmas, but it's not in the cards this year.

Something on my mind? Well, yeah, I was feeling a weird stress earlier this week, and I was trying to figure out what it is, because even though there are some stressors around they shouldn't affect me THIS much. I thought I might be absorbing other people's Christmas stress or something, but if I can chalk it up to astrology I'm good with that. I'm so glad to be coming out of these squares today.
