Thoughout the years I've noticed everyone has someone or different people that have a strong impact on them(or should I say motivates them in a positive way). Almost to the point where they have effected how you view and live life. What Sign/or Signs whether it be Sun or Moon, has had the biggest effect on you? For me I'd have to say Sun sign Scorpio, because most of my life I've been surrounded by them, alot of my family is Scorpio, a couple of good friends are Scorpios, and even attract them since as far back as I can remember. Karmic thing perhaps, mabe I'll find out someday...till then how about you???

Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
Ascendant in Cancer

I "FEEL" therefor I am

I'd say I don't have a mentor but really would like to have one

My mother, but that's different..

And my very close friend since I look up to her, she's more experienced and older than me,, sort of guides me throughout life.

But what I did notice is that almost all of my friends (I mean close friends) have the same moon sign as me - pisces. We feel good around each other and are open and trusting. So I think that whoever can motivate you is probably in touch with your moon somehow and makes you feel comfortable in the first place. It's more about moon signt than sun sign.

People that motivate me are the people who encourage me without making me feel judged. I'm not sure what signs those people often are in.

Taurus people don't make me feel judged, but they're not terribly encouraging.

Sags are encouraging, but can tend towards being judgmental sometimes. Sags could be one, though, because when they aren't judging they're pretty good.

I would theorize that Scorpios might be supportive of this Cap, but I don't have any of them in my immediate life.

Pisces would seem like a good fit.

Aquarius as long as they love you would seem supportive and non-judgmental.

My grandmother who was a scorpio had a great impact on me. She was the coolest person I know in everyway. She taught me to be strong no matter what happens and now people admire my strength. I wish I was like her. My mother also motivates me. She's a sagitarius with scorpio ascendant.

For me- it is Leo and Capricorn.

My Capricorn father is my hero and I look up to him. If he could go from working in the fields along with 12 brothers and sisters, barely having enough food to eat, to a wealthy retiree, then anyone can do it.

He drives me because I feel that for me to have not pursued my education and career would have negated all that he did to pull himself up from his bootstraps and be as well respected as he is in law enforcement. He is my hero.

Leo - my maternal Grandmother had a drive like my father. She grew up in the dustbowl, broke her back playing tag and was told she would never walk again let alone have kids. She walked, she partied (she was a bartender at the VFW back during the war) and had 3 healthy children (a Gemini, Cancer and Saggie).

No matter what heartache she endured (she lost her second husband whom she loved dearly as he had a heart attack and died in her arms) to burying the last living sibling she had 10 years ago, she always met adversity with a wink and a shrug. Even as she passed away 5 years ago next week, she did it with grace and strength.

She never gave up and she always gave SO MUCH. Making her smile and keeping up with her made me happy. Everything I am and do is because of such strong people like my grandmother and my dad.

Yep.... Leo and Capricorn for sure

Most Sags in my life teach me to loosen up. I can't say the influence is always 'positive' though cos most of my 5th house consists of Sag and my SN is there---which means we usu. end up playing together more than doing work. Even at the office. It's fun.

Aqua-influenced ppl teach me about offbeatness (word?) and objectivity. Plus, their planets usu. land in my 7th house.

I think Scorp-influenced ppl teach me my greatest lessons. Scorp is my opp. sign. My Saturn is in Scorp, so maybe it goes both ways(?). I am surrounded by them. Like true Plutonians, they usu. urge changes in me, whether I invite it or not. Thank you. (no tongue-in-cheek)

I have a Libra/Sag friend with a bunch of Scorpio who is basically my mentor, he's an amazingly motivational guy just because he has such a love of life. He also always gives good advice if asked.

I also have an Aquarius/Scorpio friend who works in a tech field and is very knowledgable in general who influences me a lot.

I find Aries women motivational in general, their energy and ambition is something I notice and tend to want to follow.

The people I look up to are those who remain optimistic no matter what...so I'll say Sags...and my father was one of them.

My moon in Scorpio also looks up to those with their Sun in Scorpio...I have more Scorpio friends than any other sign.

I admire Leos - tho rarely tell them. It’ll go to their head

why? well ...

They have Sagittarian optimism, but it feels more grounded than naive.
They mother/farther me in Cancerian fashion, but also encourage me to fly solo
They’re sensitive about my flaws and emotions similar to Pisceans, only they push me to look past them and keep moving on
They have the aggressiveness of Aries, but remember to let me have the spot light…occasionally
They’ll talk forever just like Gemini - only it doesn’t feel like forever (a dig at me dad)
They’ll charm me just like a Libra - only there’s substance behind those words

Can’t be bothered to go through all the signs, but you get me.

hmmm, honestly...all the signs (and elements) give me some sort of motivation.

(In no particular order):

Fire Signs: for their enthusiastic and enterprising (optimistic) spirits.

Water Signs: for their empathetic and compassionate nature (emotional depth).

Air Signs: for being communicative and social (yet detached at the same time).

and...

Earth Signs: for being calm (patient) and reliable (stable).

Hmm.. motivate... I'd mention those whom I have lived with, or are a big part of my life:

First I'd pick my guru, an Aquarian - she's a humanitarian. She taught and encouraged me with love - without judgement, but for the basic good.

Aries - get-up and go attitude, and by that I mean a considerably *pure* Aries (with major planets in Aries). They also teach me to be more selfish (not that it's a bad thing), and assertive - to fight for my rights (with them, that is! No bossing me around!)

I do like the Sagittarian energy, when it isn't beset by insecurities . It is expansive, philosophical, optimistic, and infused with a great sense of adventure. They can make a trip to the supermarket seem like a galactical adventure.

Libra - those I'm close to especially - they are really the children of love. I feel the most comfortable around them because they'd never intentionally hurt my feelings, but are really always there for me.

Scorpio's no-nonsense attitude, tough, and almost always getting their way. And their emotional power and ability for sacrifice.

Taurus' ability to withstand rubbish. Like a rock of Gilbratar - resilient, building layers on their rock instead of getting shaken by minor earthquakes.

I motivate myself. It must be the aqua or the taurus or the saturn.I don't know...

I'm not really influenced by others because I'm so stubborn.

Aries, Aquas and Libras tend to motivate me, probably because they help me focus my air grand trine energy in constructive ways.

Fire signs tend to motivate me, because they always encourage me to come out of my shell.
