Topic: Venus square Saturn

There was a thread on Saturn in synastry before, but I was just wondering if anyone has had Venus square, conjunct, or opposite Saturn in their synastry with someone (patriculary the square or opposition)?And what are your experiences with this aspect? It doesn't matter if you were the Venus or the Saturn..  IP: Logged |

*bump*I can't really answer this question, but I have my Saturn square my crushs' venus. I'm waiting to see how this would work (via how others have experienced this aspect). I mean, as the Saturn person I guess I would be the 'restrictor'. Anywho, it's really what you make of the situation...

My parents have Venus square Saturn with a tight orb in their synastry ... and they have been married for more than 30 years. They definitely had their problems, no doubt about that. But nevertheless they are a good team. And if I rememeber correctly, John Lennon and Yoko Ono had a square as well ... and for me they are one of the great examples of eternal love.
Generally I think that a square between Venus and Saturn definitely can cause problems, but those problems can be overcome. I don't think that a relationship whith this aspect is automatically doomed. IP: Logged |

re: saturn-venus synastry ..
ok .. i started looking at some charts .. with two ex gf's had a square and a trine respectively .. then went through a bunch of charts of friends and aquaintances of both genders .. turns out that all the long term relationships have a saturn-venus in the synastry .. ( .. i'd never looked thru that before .. )
re romance experiences .. couldn't really comment as i've sat to venus in the natal .. as in .. i'd be viewing thru a sat-venus lens in anycase .. one way or another .. :-))------------------

hmmm...interesting Saturn.My best friend is a Virgo and it just occurred to me that we have the followng interaspects between our charts: Sun trine Saturn (double whammy)
Mercury trine Saturn
Venus trine Saturn
Mars trine Saturn
Jupiter trine Saturn
Saturn conjunct Neptune hmmm...no wonder we have always 'stuck' it out through the years, lol. Also, yeah; I agree with you, SagSun... no such thing as a 'doom' aspect; it's what you make out of the situation. ------------------
