That's her birthdate and I ask because she's stupid. How can you possibly have to tell someone 5 times a days(Not exagerrating) to stop smoking in the house because I don't want my cat to inhale that crap.
Is she slow?

Sweet,Just because someone doesn't do what we ask them to do it doesn't mean they are "stupid" (annoying sometimes, yes, but not stupid!  ). Your sister has Taurus (physical) modifying Ascendant (self). Taurus energy is about "digging in" so it is possible your sister simply doesn't WANT to do what you ask. I agree with Tim. Earthiness indicate habits, and earthy people often find breaking habits hard. They may not wish to put themselves through the discomfort that comes with change (especially with Taurus), and will resist the pressure to change from others, often passively. That passiveness may appear to others as slowness, stupidity, stubbornness, etc. What the earth person is really doing is ignoring the problem so they don't have to put themselves in any discomfort by changing. If you want your sister to really stop, you're simply going to have to make it more uncomfortable for her to continue doing the behavior than it is to change. How you go about that is up to you, but I don't think telling her over and over again is very effective (obviously). You may have step it up a bit, like charge her money, or throw her out. I'm pretty sure your sister is simply not listening because you're annoying the **** out of her.
You could always take her pack of cigarettes and flush them down the toilet.

perhaps you and your sister could sit down and make a deal..
we know what annoys you the most..now ask her genuinely what bothers her most,
that you do... then when either of you breaks the deal, you pay the other person 5 dollars maybe if it cost you money, you'll
both be likely to think about not

I don't know if it's because she smokes so much pot but she is a major airhead. Even her boyfriend does this.I'll tell her to smoke in the kitchen and she says ok. Then forgets and starts walking around the house and I said hello didn't I tell you to stay in the kitchen! and she goes oh and walks back. Must be the pot. IP: Logged |

Wow! one day can make such a difference! your sister has an almost exact moon opp neptune, which might explain the pot. she also has a moon trine pluto. i dont think it has to do moon with being in gemini.IP: Logged |

I think I sort of understand this.
It's not that she's *slow*, but she doesn't consider anyone else - self-centred.
I mean, if you're caught up with an addiction and stuff that are bad for you and you *know* it, would you even bother to make slight positive changes that are unrelated? I guess not. There is a downward spiral of indifference for the lives of some.. So she really did not consider anyone else BUT herself! It's like she's inhaling the smoke, so why shouldn't others too? Or more likely she's not aware of the harmful effects or mentally minimised their toxicity. IP: Logged |

haha how do u see intelligence in a chart anyway? mercury? her merc didnt look afflicted.but yeah i think it might be more that she doesn't consider the consequences of her actions. in other words, the cat's health and your concern for the cat aren't priorities for her...but getting her smoke is. on second thought, 5 times? she might be dumb. or trying to get under your skin. lol. can that be seen in natal chart? Ummmmm you know I don't know if you ever had pets but my cat which I raise, take care of, feed, and take to the vet when he is sick is basically my child. 2nd hand smoking is worst than smoking itself. And I don't want it around my cat. I could give a crap what you or anyone has to say. Don't come in here screaming and crying about how I have no right to care about my cat's health. If you meet my sister and see how the only thing she cares about is her boyfriend then you would probably stay quiet and feel stupid. You do not know her. I know her better then you ever will. If you want to smoke around your kids and children and kill them well that's your prob sweety. I will not do it though.

Oh, well I kind of understand where you'e coming from (although I'm a smoker myself.....of other things  ). I understand because 1) It really isn't nice to smoke around children or animals. 2) I also have a sibling who can be thick in the head about these things too. Tell her not to do one thing (ie. make messes) and she continues to do so like a dee-dee-dee. But I suppose that's life between two mercurial mooners.  IP: Logged |

Personally, one of my cousins has a gemini moon; MAJOR jokester/ prankster (of course, that can be the result of his other natal aspects)...while someone else I know with a gemini moon is very intelligent; definately not a 'ditz'. I thought moon was more about ones' emotions (not really intelligence); so for a gemini moon, one would have the tendency to 'word out' their emotions. hmmm, let's see what else to add... Gemini is a mutable sign, as they do take things more personally and thus making them more irritable. So, maybe she is purposelly trying to annoy you. I myself have two older sisters (so I kind of understand where you are coming from)...good ole' siblings...lol. Anywho, sorry I could not be of more assistance. She should really 'learn' to be more considerate of others... However, I guess some people learn this 'lesson' later in life. ------------------

Ok so I spoke to her seriously yesterday, while she was busy talking about the guy she's cheating on her boyfriend with and she said okay and said she told her boyfriend also so they haven't been smoking in the house. Finally.I smoke to but I know not to in the house. ------------------

Well everything was going good then there they were smoking again in the house tonight.The cigarettes are so strong they take over the whole house.
I don't think even a 5 year old has to be told many times to stop doing something. She's gonna be 26 next month.
It's not like I even yell at her I just ask her to please not.
I've come to the conclusion that she's not dumb.

So today my kitty starts coughing and gagging, he was struggling to breathe so I had to rush him to the animal hospital. Turns out the smoking was really hurting him. And then people wonder why I even cared in the first place. I was terrified.
Next time someone tells me I have no right to care about the health of my animal....I'm gonna spit in their face.
