I've noticed something funny about my ASC, moon and venus.. My ASC is in cancer, and the ruler of cancer, my moon, is in libra, in the fourth (cancer) house. And the ruler of Libra, venus, is conjunct my ASC in cancer. I feel this has some significanse, but I'm still trying to "get my head around it" as I think the expression is.. Someone?  ------------------

This suggests that Mother is a major influence. Probably your relationship with her shapes all of your relationships. She may hold too large a place in your psyche and "normal" may feel-like you and she against the world. It also suggests that the definition of "female" is "one destined to be a mother."------------------

If we throw Pluto in to the mix, what effect will that have? It's conjunct my Moon... Just intensifying it all? At first I was primarily wondering about the closed loop between Cancer/Libra, Moon/Venus, and forgot all about Pluto in the middle of this..------------------

Pluto conjunct the Moon explains a lot. INTENSE INDEED! This is a mother who was in some type of transformation during the earliest part of your life and her feelings at the time were absorbed into your emotional structure. You may feel in some way compelled to face what she did. Very often, with this placement, your mother was struggling to free her life from the control of her mother. You may feel that you need to do the same and it may or may-not be true. Take a long look at your relationship with her and see whether you are truly reacting to the person she is now.------------------
