My husband is also going through something...he is very down and feels like isolating himself..would you mind taking a look...

DOB: 25 August 1969

(strange how their dobs are three days apart, albeit different years)!

ok .. yeah i was looking at a theoretical 1967 b.d last night .. so for that birth year .. *just about* every Sun sign will be enduring a Pluto transit squaring their natal Chiron .. .. that will be a major 'backdrop' effect to whatever else is going on ..e.g Sat to Sun for both by the looks of it ..

.. will check both dates .. (a bit later this eve maybe )..

.. just a thought .. Sat will be effecting their sun-ruler .. might be partic. hard on a Leo .. to have Sat 'blocking' their Sun ..

ok .. brief look .. chart 'at' midday gmt ..

at the front is a short Mars transit squaring his n.node ..
.. on it's way out .. i.e. passed exact ..

behind that ..

1 .. t.Saturn opposes a *midday Moon ( only a possibilty for him depending b.t )
2 .. t.Saturn IS squaring his Neptune placement
2a .. that's it for saturn :-)

behind that .. Chiron by transit .. is squaring his natal Saturn ..
*upside: .. chiron is moving relatively much faster these days than it has been ..
it will be past quite soon .. by next month its 3 degrees on or so ..
.. so that's wearing off ..

behind that is a Pluto transit ..
it's basicly squaring the natal Pluto/Mercury position ..

ok re. the Moon ..
his natal moon would be aprox between 5 and 20 degrees Aqua
so t.Saturns current travels could very well be effecting his Moon placement .. i.e. by oppostion aspect ..

and .. t.Neptune *may* be in play .. just pointing that out as Nept is 18 aqua at present ( aprox. )

so at a guess he's feeling the Saturn to Moon effect on his emotions ..

.. that *chiron transit would feel just as crap but in a different way ..
but again it was/is effecting his natal saturn .. and 'saturn' and 'isolation' go together in it's sense ..
.. am sure you've seen the texts on saturn ..

Also, his asteroid OSIRIS is exactly trine this placement, this is the asteroid of the ultimate masculine energies. All that he is heroic about, he must introspect as those aspects of his self will be helped when he uses this transit.

I went through your chart too, transit OSIRIS is conjuncting your Moon and Mars. Thus, this is a time that all your inner outpouring of love for your ideal man comes to the fore. Neptune has finally left your Chiron, so the hurts to heal you should start healing but KARMA will conjunct Chiron in a few days to add to the balancing work regding Chiron for a happier life. Saturn was and is conjunct your Natal Karma for several days, retrograde. Chiron is conj Pholus. Only you can know how many difficult passages of life you have been through these past few weeks, but hey fellow Aries South Node, we have been there and done that.

Great times are ahead for you starting 2008, when Pluto in Capricorn will begin to trine Natal Pluto and sextile Natal Venus, plus Jupiter will trine Pluto and sextile Venus AND Neptune will begin to trine True Node.

i imagine folk may contemplate ending it all when they feel there is no hope left .. or can't see a future for themselves .. yes he has had a *long-long term run of transits that would test any person .. lots of Pluto squares to personal planets and Uranus oppositions* .. i mean that stuff has been going on for years ..

he's not quite 'out of the woods' .. but at the moment * he's really getting a thump from Saturn .. basicly it's been hitting his Sun-Merc and making a square to his Mars/Neptune position .. thing is he's getting multiple hits to that .. or in other words 3 times .. he's had 2 .. 1 to go when Sat goes direct .. * ( it has done /will be doing this to a lot of folks .. Saturn is not being Nice at all :-)) .. )

the big one in the background .. i.e. he will feel this maybe acutely when he gets one of the underlying transits .. is *t.Pluto is squaring his natal Chiron* ( and his moon is 'potentialy' close to his chiron .. yet to figure the range for that day .. again t.Pluto can be given a quite a large orb of effect .. ) .. so yeah it's a big hit on the emotional level .. and he probably feels like it's been going on forever and just can't take it anymore .. hence the drink 'n such to make it all go away for good .. ( his moon *might* be in pisces .. i don't know .. it will be pisces or aries .. both would have a reaction to being squared by Pluto .. could see either reacting to drink and neg. thoughts ) ..

.. just an odd thought .. but at a guess .. someone who's a mechanic would also be able to grasp the mechanics of the zodiac wheel .. i.e. be able to view the natal wheel and the transiting planets .. in motion as it where .. maybe if he could watch it work realtime he'll realise .. in astro terms .. what's been making him feel so low .. i.e. by observing how he feels under certain transits .. ( making observations just like one would do when trying to tune an engine .. in a sense ) .. i.e observing the shorter transits ..

Saturns current position means that it is moving back towards his natal Jupiter placement..
so it's building up by retro movement towards his Jupiter ...
i mean it would add to the low feeling .. sat feels like its casting a shadow over jupiter ..
not the greatest of vibes .. 'specially in winter ..
