I was wondering if anyone has any of those old classic aspects and positions that make them selfless (the opposite of selfish).well i have Moon/6th sextile neptune/5th
Moon/6th trine pluto/3rd
Sun/4th trine chiron/11th
Pluto/3rd trine chiron/11th
Jupiter/12th Trine part of fortune/4th
Venus/4th conjunct Part of Fortune/4th
Chiron sextile Midheaven
Neptune Trine Acendant
Venus sextile Ceres
Mercury Trine Aphrodite
Pluto/3rd conjunct Amor(unconditional love) in Scorpio Moon in pisces in 6th of Aquarius
Stellium in 4th
Vertex in 6th house (in my solar return for this year in my life, i have moon conjunct chiron in aquarius in 6th, with 6th cusp being Capricorn and Saturn in my 1st house of leo.) ------------------

I haven't a clue what the classic aspects are for selflessness, other than maybe something to do with Pisces.However I noticed Nep that you have 4th House Part of Fortune. I do as well and it is EXACTLY conjunct the IC, like it's off by like 10 seconds. Anyway~ I've always wondered what the significance of PF conjunct IC meant. You always see it conjunct the MC and it's great to have it there...do you know about it's meaning re the IC? Heck, even the 4th house meaning. Anything I've ever seen is kinda vague. Thanks for your help.

Well the IC is the house of the soul, one of the major angles, here let me break it down:AC - Personality; Appearance IC - Roots, Home, Soul, Ancestry, Private Standing DC - Primary Relationships, Marriages MC - Career, Public Standing, Status ------------------

I'm a selfless person turned selfish. I had to to survive my childhood. Pisces moon and Pisces 7th house basically means people treat me like crap unless I stand up for myself.My NN is in Aqua and the 6th, which means I should strive to be a selfless person and be of service to others and society. I have to find that balance though, between selfless for the sake of my personal growth and happiness, and being selfish enough for my own well-being and self-perservation. IP: Logged |

I'm not selfless.  But I need to get to that pt sometime before I die, or else I'll get reincarnated into a cockroach, for real... My NN is in the 11th in Gem. Must learn to listen better... gather insight and apply it toward some kind of community project? Maybe through communications or something... The 6th house is on the opp. end of my T-sq, so if I don't keep busy helping ppl, I might as well implode or drown in self-pity. IP: Logged |

Thanks Nep, but can you say anything about the PF's influence on my roots, home, soul, ancestry, private standing?Does it infer these areas will be highly fortunate? I can see how my mother was a phenomenal blessing in this life of mine. I've always been one to embrace, never regret anything I've been through b/c I'm so happy where I am in my life the majority of the time, I figure if anything in the past was different, I wouldn't be this fortunate. Know what I mean? Sorry to be so dense about it. LOL

Been pondering the selfless aspect stuff. I'm gonna take a stab at it...I think I vaccillate between, here's what I think.Selfish: (first of course, lol)
8th house Aries Sun/Merc trine 11th Leo Mars
Pluto conj Asc. inconjunct Sun/Merc
10th house Cancer Moon
Uranus opp Venus
Virgo rising
Jupiter square Moon (out of sign, 8 deg orb) Selfless:
Grand trine/Kite, Water, Moon, Neptune, Chiron, kite point:Pluto opp Chiron
Virgo rising/Pisces DC
Aqua Saturn 6th
Pisces Venus 6th
Pisces Chiron 7th Don't know if any of those are "classic" aspects, but they feel that way to me.

i'm virgo rising and i'm not selfish, maybe its my moon opp AC to brighten it up.yes maire it does have to do with being highly fortunate in those area's, including the person with that position possessing an extraordinary soul, capable of great things to offer the world. ------------------

Wow, almost missed your response Nep!About Virgo Asc. I listed it as selfish in terms of being so critical and exacting. I suppose I see those as selfish qualities, at least in myself. I also listed it as selfless for the obvious reasons of service, healing, etc. Thank you so much for making such a beautifully profound statement about PF conjunct IC &/or 4th house. Really, you touched my spirit with your words. Still bathing in the vibes. Just beautiful.

Thank you Maire for such a kind reply and complement  , i tend to have a way with words (being 3rd cusp Libra, Pluto conjunct diana & amor in scorpio in 3rd, pluto being my guiding planet, venus in 4th conjunct p.fort)------------------
