Hope this isn't redundant... http://members.aol.com/terriastro/fortune.htm http://www.arlenekramer.com/astrology5.asp http://www.horoscopeswithin.com/partoffortuneinhouses.php http://www.jornal-astrologia.com/article_geisler.htm http://home.epix.net/~tzarathu/PoF.html http://globalpsychics.com/enlightening-you/astrology/fortune.shtml The three keys to interpretation: 1. The Part of Fortune indicates the place of happiness, ie, the degree of the zodiac that brings you bliss. 2. The Part of Fortune is the place where you may profit financially from planets in or passing through its exact degree, or, by extension, by the planet which rules that sign in your chart. 3. The Part of Fortune can strengthen & otherwise improve any unfortunate planet it may conjunct. There are four categories of "improvement", but not all of them lead to positive results so far as the native may be concerned. Improvements have often been noted when the Part is conjunct the south node. IP: Logged |

My Part is in Gemini at the 29th degree. My Sun conjuncts my Pas in the 12th house. PART OF FORTUNE IN THE TWELFTH HOUSE:
The person with his Part of Fortune in the twelfth house has a unique opportunity to transform or dissolve his own Karma. This is a person who has mediumistic talents and the gift of prophecy. His dreams often give him answers. His flair for spirituality, mysticism, illusion, and fantasy can be productive in film, television, and works of fiction. Though he may not know it when it happens, his enemies will frequently change their attitude from hostility to neutrality, and sometimes even to benevolence. He is generally unaware of his good fortune. The person with his Part of Fortune in the twelfth house is treated well by health-care professionals. The Part of Fortune's meaning, just like a planet's meaning, is sensitive to house placement, as just shown. It is also sensitive, just like a planet is, to the sign of the zodiac in which it finds itself. In a future article, as we continue our investigation of the meanings of the Part of Fortune, we will look at the Part of Fortune in each of the twelve signs.
Sun and the Part of Fortune: When you see a horoscope where the Sun is conjunct the Part of Fortune, remember how we arrive at the Part of Fortune. The Ascendant and the Moon and the Sun itself combine to show us where the avenue to happiness, success, and sheer joy is located. We look to the house, we look to the sign, and now we look to the planet to tell us more. When the Sun is conjunct the Part of Fortune, the person can shine with his whole being in response to the solar illumination.

The person with his Part of Fortune in the twelfth house is treated well by health-care professionals. Yes this is true now that I think about it. I have a huge fear of needles so whenever I go to the dentist or doctor they console me a lot or hold my hand and I'm 24 LOL

Sweet Stars, you mentioning your fear of needles got me thinking of an old post about fears and phobias which I replied to.. I'm terrified of needles too!! Then everyone will tell you that, well ofcourse, no one LIKES needles, and that's it, sort of, end of story. Then you try to tell them that you REALLY dislike needles, and they just keep saying that "yeah yeah, we all do", and no one really understands it before they see you panicking in a corner, crying and throwing up in the waste basket from fear because someone is trying to give you a shot or draw blood... I've heard some people just pass out when they see needles, oh God I wish I could have been one of those... Is that how it's like for you?IP: Logged |

I don't pass out but sometimes I feel like it.I was shaking the whole time while she was holding my hand saying don't worry sweetheart, everything will be alright LOL As long as I have someone there with me I'll feel better.
Imagine a needle for an epidoral?
I think when I see that I'll definitely pass out.

I had to have an epidural when I had my daughter... I was so distressed from the whole situation that I was frozen in fear, I was terrified, but I didn't dare move as the doctor did his thing... He was mucking about in my spine for God sake!! The worst was actually the shot I got BEFORE the epidural, the local sedative so I wouldn't feel the epidural, because I certainly felt THAT.. But believe it or not, I actually have a tattoo on my lower back!! For some reason that was perfectly ok, it hurt, but I didn't feel anything like I do when someone is about to give me a shot!
