Hi everyone, just curious about what's been happening in your part of the world (spiritual/physical/mental) since pluto conjunct galactic center (26deg Sag)?

I know Pluto's transits take time to take effect but it seems the effects (for weather the world around) seems to be one area.

Any other thoughts??

I've never heard of the galactic centre. Interesting... I guess that means my ascendant at 28 degrees Sag is conj. the galactic centre then, whatever it is!

I looked it up. It's a giant black hole in the Milky Way...

When did it occur?

We have had high winds and very heavy rain here the last few days?

Suprisingly I have felt a lot calmer, despite the fact that I thought the fecking roof was gonna blow away

I think nothing new happens here in Germany. It is just very warm for this time of year: We have temperatures in high 50's instead of low 30's.

I have natal Pluto and natal Chariko (has Uranian/Jupiter overtones - expansion towards the future; progress, forward thinking) squaring the GC.

Pluto's at 27 Virgo; Chariklo at 27 Pisces. No wonder I feel liek I'm being slowly ripping apart by overwhelming gravitional forces and sucked down a hugh black hole....

Anyhow, Bob Marks' forum has a discussion on this if you're interested. http://www.bobmarksastrologer.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2575

May take time to load - there's almost 200 replies. One the articles posted there says I'm suppose to be lucky with this transit. *drums fingers*

BTW, this Saturday, tr Mars will be conjunct tr Pluto as it crosses over the GC. Good luck with all that. I think I'm going ot sleep in myself.

GalacticCenter

------------------
`Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.'

thanks Hexxie

what are the orbs for the GC?
my sun & mars are like 5 or 6 degrees opposition from it but don't know if that counts.

this might help to see what aspects you have to GC, I got it from Gemini Nymph's link

i felt torn before but i don't anymore. i feel balanced as well. there is also a lot of "get down to business" going on too, in my life. i actually like the challenge. i think it wants to balance me out all the way around now for something. funny thing is - it's january 11th but it feels that we've been in 2007 a lot longer than 11 days but that's my opinion.

i'm in the NE section of US and the weather is uncharacteristically warm for this time of season for us but it's getting chilly now - still no snow and the temperature is supposed to be rising again. it's still beautiful though.

i think the world is rebooting though - i like that term for it.

To give a more positive example of the Galactic Centre in a chart, Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the internet was born on 8 June 1955, with North Node at 26.21 Sag, and GC at 26.14 Sag (he also has Mercury opposite at 28.07 Gemini). I think that a characteristic of the GC in a chart is that one’s actions are connected to the Collective and can have a profoundly progressive, evolutionary effect on a wide scale. Which Berners-Lee has achieved through his invention of the Internet.

And which Neil Armstrong achieved through being the first man on the Moon. He has Moon (of all planets!) at 25.24 Sag conjunct GC at 25.53 Sag. Note the tightness of the conjunctions in this case and in the case of Berners-Lee, and how central to our culture their achievements have been. Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the Moon, has DESC at 26.44 Sag, less than a degree off the GC at 25.53 Sag.

A few other figures with conjunctions to the GC are: Steven Spielberg (Sun 20 minutes off GC), Rupert Murdoch (Moon 1½ degrees, ASC 5½ degrees off GC), Tiger Woods (Moon 4.08 degrees, IC 2.34 degrees off GC), Elisabeth Kübler-Ross (MC 4.13 degrees off GC), Billy Graham (Moon 3.03 degrees off GC).

A hurricane in Gemrany? You guys aren't on the coast...are you?

Curious to know what happens when your saturn and uranus are conjunct the galactic center. Doesn't sound too good....
