a cancer rising..... or at least cancer in their 4th houseI have a cancer rising.... and you all know by now who my ex is.... a cancer sun lol LOL but Isn't it ironic that most women who have a cancer rising are drawn to a cancer (sun/mercury) male at some point in their lives?
That's really interesting...
Before I go I wanted to ask you all something did you ever know of a woman with a cancer rising that married a cancer sun?  Katie

I have cancer rising, and I have never been involved with any cancer men, actually I even dislike cancer men to some degree...  ------------------

Actually, I'm not interested in cancer men in general. However I dated one once, and I don't know how it started really but we grew too close too fast. Cancer man are too needy for my tastes...IP: Logged |

I dont have Cancer rising or Cancer on my 4th (I have cappie there) and im a Libra rising and im always attracted to Cancer men and dated one but i do have Cancer Mars and Scorpio moon. IP: Logged |

Hey BUD dont u find them smothering, or very fatherly; they have set traditional gender roles in their mind and want their woman to be willing to be barefoot and preggos or cooking for them (I love cooking but only when I want not when someone else wants me to cook, very Gemini-like). Every single Cancer Ive seen has been a very traditional and quite conservative homebody; they dont mess with new ideas too much which drives my air asc, jupiter, sun , merc and mars nutty. Theyre also very nitpicky ("you've gained weight" "dont wear lipstick it doesnt look nice" "that color doesnt look good on you" "i dont like it when women wear short skirts" and blah). I hate it when a man takes it upon himself to 'correct' my super sense of style and fashion. IP: Logged |

I don't know, I think most people will be attracted to the sign on the their ASC, because think about it... that sign will almost always light up your first house in synastry.Until last year, I never dated any Cancer men, but all of a sudden, after getting out of a long involvement with a Pisces... every guy I met was a Cancer! It was so weird. I'm an Aquarian with Libra rising. The only one I dated (and still am kind of seeing) had his Sun exactly opposed my Capricorn moon. Cancer rules my 10th house. But I think we have a lot of chemistry because he has Leo rising and I love Leo men... plus my Sun/Mars sit on his DC and my Jupiter sits on his ASC. So yeah! IP: Logged |

I have dated more than my fair share of Cancer men, but i'm not a Cancer rising. Virgo rising here.A woman's ASC in the same sign as the man's sun is one of the more cmmon aspects in marriages, so you observation isn't surprising. My 4H is ruled by Sag and has no planets in it. Cancer rules my 11H, and I have Pysche, Cupido and Juno in Cancer (if I remember correctly). I also have Pisces moon and Pisces DC - that seems to be what really attract Cancer guys. But is it not incommon that best partner is the one that occupies our 7th house? And + that his Venus/Mars in sign that occupies our 7th house?IP: Logged |

"dated" one Cancer sun---and I have my Pisces sun in the 4th--that is as far as I come to being crab-like~~~however, my 14 yr old daughter's best friend is a Cancer sun male, and she is a Cancer rising~~her sis and I swear they will marry some day....... IP: Logged |

Hey Fluke.... never say never lol... lol I'm only kidding..... But on a serious note I think the reason why you "dislike cancer men" is because your moon is in libra.... so their sun (in cancer) would form a square to your moon (in libra).... Question: How do you feel about Capricorns? Also your sun/mars is in Gemini so you probably are more attracted to guys with air or fire in their chart!

I know exactly what you mean when you say " we grew together too fast" That happened to me lol... we practically skipped the courship part and went straight to the hugging/kissing part lol.... if I could turn back the hands in time I would have liked us to have taken things a little slower!!!!
