Does it annoy anyone else when you see multiple, like more than 5 new topic posted by the same person, at the same time? I don't know why that bugs me. It makes me not want to reply, or even look at a single one. Anyone else find that weird, or annoying? IP: Logged |

I'm actually more annoyed with the fact that none of MY placements have been posted yet. How is that?IP: Logged |

Well, then post it yourself, Dulce - the one your most curious about. Not ALL of them. Sheesh. Not at the same time, anyway.IP: Logged |

No, Lioneye68,It certainly isn't just you. I had this suspicious feeling when I suddenly saw such as series of threads sharing a similar theme and posted by the same person. I should have been more alert, but was stupid enough to participate in one of those that concerns one of my own placements. I deleted it afterward because I did not want to support such a crazy spree. Editing to add: I have been thinking that the original contents in this post were too harsh. IP: Logged |

OK, lioneye - we f***ing get it. You have an axe to grind with someone, but it doesn't belong here. If anything's annoying me right now it's you and your whining about this. THIS is trolling - you're clogging up this forum everytime you start another thread that has nothing to do with the topic (astrology, remember? I don't see how personal petty greivences fall under that). What is this, your 5th or 6th within 24 hours? At least this other person's threads were about astrology. And D for defiant, get off your high horse. You've done the same crap yourself, posting the same d*** self-righteous thread in multiple forums to bash someone else, AFTER your had already bashed that person in their thread. It's trolling all the same.

some people may not find the time to post ideas or queries as they come up in their mind and might therefore save it for a later time.usually the topics are interrelated but require separate attention. IP: Logged |

RE: My own 4 threads, about this multiple thread fiasco, was mearly meant to mock that style, and also an attempt to send the message that it wasn't appreciated. There were some interesting, good threads in here that I wanted to get back to - but every other thread was getting burried by this silliness. It's like "Nevermind all those other threads - Everybody turn your attentions to MY threads now" - Coup de-forum. I swear some people just get off on seeing their username all over a forum page. It annoys me when people do that, so much so that I had to address it. God knows, some of you have no qualms about addressing the things that annoy YOU here. (GN)...Who needs to get off their high horse? More than one of us perhaps. Anyway, creating 50+ new threads all at once is an abuse of posting privelages, and shouldn't be encouraged. IP: Logged |

Yeah lioneye, have to admit I was surprised when some threads I was following disappeared to the second page in a matter of a few hours behind a blizzard of new threads all by the same poster.I suppose it's different when one is attempting to get information on a specific question of astrology...or..dispensing some knowledge about astrology..aspects, signs, planets, houses or expressing an opinion, etc. but this seemed pointless and totally unfocused to me. No it doesnt bother me. i dont think the person was trying to get attention to themselves at all (or they wud be posting about THEIR chart placements, not those of all the 12 zodiac signs). its all in your mind. they dominated the forum for like, wht, 3 hrs? why her 3 hrs of attention continue to bother u after 3 days, is beyond me.And i dont agree tht she shud hv posted one thread asking ppl to list wht they like/ dislike. its so difficult to read thru pages of long threads to find the specific zodiac placement u were looking for. it might look a bit extreme, and may be out of the norm, but i dont think it deserves this kind of censure. She is having fun with astrology, so just chillax and have fun yourself! afterall you r a leo, aren't you? ILWL IP: Logged |

Maybe I've been around forums for too long. Certain forum behaviors irk me.Now, I'm happy to drop the subject, unless someone else feels the need to lambaste me? IP: Logged |

I think it is more odd or bizarre that a poster would think it's appropriate to fill the entire leader board with their questions. Yet, I don't think the answer is to turn around and do the same in a list of attack posts. When I see that I try to clear the top by answering an astro question or posting one myself...so let's just get on with it people...Lots of things irritate me but I am sure I can be entirely irritating to others at time so I live with it and move on...IP: Logged |

I have been thinking that the original contents in my last post were too harsh. Although I've added this to my last post, I have felt that it's necessary to send a new post in order to let others know that I have a change of heart- I simply consider my words too harsh. Those posts by IamLove may have seemed sudden and overwhelming to me, but at the end of the day, as long as they produce constructive outcomes, then I shouldn't say anything critical or judgmental about them- in fact, I think- in a way, they might be worth encouragement IamLove IP: Logged |
