Instinct: inborn pattern of behavior often responsive to specific stimuli.its more like a combination of logical as well as imaginative thinking happening at lightning fast subconscious level. lightning fast thinking is uranus. look which house's ascendant is aquarius in. uranus is the rule of that house. look with which plane are in a aspect with uranus. study the meaning of those aspects from the net. that will tell u in which are a persons instinct work well and how effective. Traditionally--Neptune, Pisces and the 12th house, for instinct and/or intuition, as well as anything visionary such as the visual arts.Intuition is Logic processing at the speed of light--so fast you cannot see the process but "just know." Instinct is even faster--we react "automatically" without any conscious thought or attention.........this is more like something conditioned over lifetimes of practice so that you can do it automatically, without thought--much the same as normal walking. Something that is, or has been assigned to the autonomic nervous system.

the Moon. http://www.astrology-numerology.com/insigns-moon.html http://san.beck.org/Astro-Moon.html http://www.crystalinks.com/lunarastrology.html in psychology, there is a distinction between sub-conscious mind and un-conscious mind, also between the personal un-conscious and collective one (see Jung, who invented the terms). so, astrologically speaking, The Moon stands for the collective unco(the 4th house=ancestors) and neptune/12th for the personal unconscious. you can read a wonderful elaboration on this in Robert Hand's 'Horoscope Symbols'. (the subconscious mind would be the 3rd house/ automatic, everyday responses to life; the 10th would represent the super ego, and so on) IP: Logged |
