He is the moon

She is the Eros

Both in Pisces at 13 degrees

Any thoughts of what sort of feel this would give across two charts...

How would it compare to a Venus/Eros conjunction?

Thanks

Here is something I found.....

quote:

Eros in Synastry Aspect with the Moon

What I have done is yours; what I have to do is yours; being part in all I have, devoted yours.-- William Shakespeare

When the Moon and Eros join forces, emotions rise as feelings pour forth into a vessel of passion, creativity, unconscious longings and past desires. Eros and the Moon tend to feel, alike and where their ground is common their power to evoke passion and mutual merging is great.

Anytime the Moon is activated in a Synastry chart, one or both individuals will come into contact with their emotional nature. The result of this connection will depend entirely on the development and condition of their inner worlds respectively.

Those with emotional challenges and damaged feelings, as may be reflected in hard outer planet aspects to the natal Moon, may find someone coming along and stimulating those crippled sensitivities uncomfortable at best. Conversely, those with more or less processed feelings and in current touch with their inner world will probably find an encounter with Eros nurturing, comforting and exquisitely stimulating. Again, a lot will depend on the individual's relationship to their personal feeling world at the time of contact.

When Eros is stimulated and the Moon comfortably nurtured, the union can have profound effects. Touched in this way, we feel known, understood and fostered. The sense of security is intense leaving the individual ready, willing and able to take the risks Eros requires. The result may not be happy ever after although we will most likely be thoroughly transformed.

Even when Eros touches a damaged Moon, and the very nature of the moon suggests the best placed one has experienced some degree of wounding, the contact can have a healing and soothing effect. Depending on the nature of the relationship and the overall comparison of the charts, Eros may bring to the Moon a sense of zest and validity that was previously lacking. The Moon, on the other hand, may bring to Eros a feeling of security, protection and immunity form the harsher elements of life. Together the two may then enter the depths of intimacy leaving them both with a sense of immediate rapport and lasting transformation.

The contacts with a particularly difficult Moon can be disruptive, as when there is a great deal of emotional repression or unresolved feelings. Eros here will awaken feelings that sit neither well or softly. The results can be a flood of anger, hurt, rage and sorrow. Those with this Moon may instinctively avoid deep contacts with those who have planets and bodies in aspect to it. It is like having a broken toe and wanting to avoid an oncoming herd of horses. The pain is too great, and they will not want it aggravated.

Hope this helps....

Katie

The Aqua guy I was courting up til recently has his Eros conjunct my Pisces moon by 1.5 degrees in my 7H. I can identify with a lot with what that article said from my time courting him. Unfortunately my moon's is very wounded, and I was definitely the one who decided to pull away.

Hello Taurus80!

This is some info I found on the web!

You can use this info to gain a better understanding of your venus/psyche aspect....

quote:

Psyche: While very literally "the brain" and its status or state, Psyche's configuration details much of the mental-emotional history and of those scenes and experiences that installed psychological pain. So, what was/is so wounding about the natal house in which Psyche resides? And how does its sign add to that description? How does the sign help to explain how you respond to emotional pain (yours, that of others)? Is the sign a defense from feeling, or does it drive you further into psychological awareness?

Take a minute to really relax, to sink down into yourself, going deeper with each exhalation. Let that release drift throughout your body. Then bring each of the aspects to Psyche to mind. These aspects "affect your mental-emotional state;" they also hold childhood scenes that have left a residual impact. They show what caused damage, and how you respond when those memories are triggered-- what you "do" when you're "hurt." They are part of a "raw wound" and hyper-sensitivity.

You'll need to be both honest and gentle with yourself as you explore all that Psyche in your chart has to tell you about your past (and present.) In a sense, Psyche is a wound... and sometimes, out of that woundedness, a person becomes very sensitive to the pain of others. (Thus, sometimes Psyche is "psychic"-- but that doesn't change the fact that it relates to emotional damage that must, over the course of life, be transformed to a gift...or at least resolved.)

And something extra....

quote:

The asteroid Eros plays a role in sexual attraction as well. Most potent are Eros-Venus, Eros-Ascendant, Eros-Psyche, and Eros-Mars links. Conjunctions, oppositions, and trines are best.

I hope this helps.... I'm sorry I was unable to find anything specific Taurus!!!

Katie
