**Your Starcast for January 20-February 17**

The astrological month begins on a note of open-minded enthusiasm as both the Sun and Mercury leap into Aquarius. (And when those two meet on the 26th? Just make sure that enthusiasm -- squared -- doesn't get the better of you!) Start going after any romantic needs you've been ignoring when Venus ends her retrograde journey on February 3. And by Valentine's Day, sit back and enjoy some delightful socializing -- with friends and lovers alike -- courtesy of Venus and Jupiter's sextile. Read on for more details on this unconventional, but decidedly romantic, month!

January 20: Sun enters Aquarius

Aquarius is often mistaken for a water sign because its symbol is the Water Bearer. This sign is actually part of the air element and is connected to the world of ideas. Many Aquarians are known for being forward thinking, unconventional and even rebellious. Often their ideas are cutting-edge, which can be both a blessing and a curse. Every year as the Sun transits Aquarius, you have the opportunity to be less conservative, to be a bit of a wild child and add something totally different, innovative and exciting to your life.

January 22: Venus opposite Saturn

Opposition aspects give us the chance to stand back and get a good look at what's going on. With the relationship planet, Venus, in the friendship sign, Aquarius, connecting with the reality planet, Saturn, it's time to examine your important relationships. Do you feel appreciated by others? Is there a spirit of friendship and equality? Facing limitations -- both yours and others -- helps you to make realistic choices and establish healthy boundaries.

January 22: Jupiter square Uranus

Change is in the air as Jupiter, the planet of beliefs and worldview, squares independent Uranus. You may feel restless and decide to make radical changes in your life. Jupiter's placement in Sagittarius brings enthusiasm and optimism along with the urge to ramble and roam. Independent Uranus in Pisces has similar themes, but leans toward exploring the spiritual and emotional realms. Your world and your beliefs are shifting, making it important for you to be open to new circumstances.

January 26: Venus sextile Pluto

This lovely aspect of Venus sextile Pluto brings opportunities to deepen your connections with others. There is nothing superficial about Pluto, whose tendency is to express everything passionately, while the planet of love, Venus, is all about relating. Together, these two manifest the healing power of love, so this is a great time to express your affection. Pick up the phone, write a poem or plan a quiet evening out with someone near and dear to you.

January 27: Venus enters Pisces

Venus continues it recent soulful theme entering Pisces. Communing with others on a spiritual level is extra important right now. Venus's previous placement in Aquarius centered on the more enduring friendship qualities of love, whereas watery Pisces is wholly immersed in the feeling world. There are times when love needs no words.

January 31: Mercury sextile Pluto

Mercury the communicator loves connecting with intense Pluto, especially in an aspect that offers connection opportunities with people in influential positions. You have exceptionally creative ideas and the ability to sell them. This is a great climate and will provide uncommon receptivity to your ideas. Look around you. Who are the movers and shakers, the powers that be? They are there to help you, so make the connection.
February 1: Full Moon in Leo

Heightened emotions are always a feature of full Moons, and when mixed with Leo, oversensitivity is probable. The tendency is to allow your ego to have a bit more voice than it should. At its best, Leo is the sign of healthy self-expression, creativity and leadership. There is so much boldness and strength in this sign, and if you can step forward in a great way, people are sure to take notice. From now until the next new Moon on February 17, see if you can cultivate a more fun-loving, confident approach to life. Be the Sun in the center of your own solar system and shine brightly.

This full Moon will most affect those born January 31-February 4, May 2-6, August 4-8 and November 4-8.

February 2: Mercury enters Pisces

When the planet of communication enters the most imaginative sign of the zodiac, you're likely to dream up things you wouldn't ordinarily. Keep a journal of your most inspiring ideas. You'll be returning to them when Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces on February 14. Find quiet time and give your mind a chance to swim around in the cosmic soup. You'll be surprised at all the insight you receive.

February 3: Mars sextile Uranus

Are you ready to try something different? With action-oriented Mars in an opportunity aspect with wild and zany Uranus, you are likely to feel itchy for new experiences. It's time to make some changes. You won't want to disrupt your world, but do follow your impulse to shake things up a bit. This is an aspect that maximizes possibilities. Open your mind and make the most of this interesting time.

February 3: Sun sextile Jupiter

The Aquarius Sun loves Jupiter in Sagittarius! Both of these signs are interested in freedom and independence, and this aspect provides plenty of chances to improve your life and open your world. Whether you take a trip, get together with friends or start an interesting project at work, it's time to break out of your usual day-to-day routine (otherwise, you are likely to feel restless and irritable). Life's too short to not take advantage of the opportunity to spice things up a bit.

February 7: Venus conjunct Uranus
Are you ready for a refreshing change in your relationships? With this planet of love joining exciting Uranus, one thing is for sure: you won't be bored this week. This is a wonderful aspect to strengthen your connections. Keep an open mind with everyone you meet. It's time to move out of relationship ruts.

February 8: Sun conjunct Neptune

The Sun conjuncts Neptune once a year, marking a new beginning, a new cycle and a new dream. Neptune represents the we-are-all-one principle, where there are no divisions or boundaries, and alludes to a spiritual connection. The Sun is all about self-definition, so the potential when the Sun and Neptune come together is to experience your spiritual nature or to feel confused about who you are ... probably a little of both. This marks an idealistic, dreamy period. The Saturn opposition later this week will help you get your feet back on the ground.

February 9: Venus square Jupiter

Now that Venus is moving away from its conjunction with Uranus, things will calm down -- hopefully. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, and this aspect can expand the pleasure principle represented by Venus, making this a time to beware of over-indulgence. But Jupiter also symbolizes beliefs, so in this square it's beneficial to make sure your relationships reflect your deepest-held beliefs. Venus in Pisces wants that romantic spiritual connection, yet Jupiter in Sagittarius wants to explore and roam. How do you get these two aspects to balance out? That's your problem to solve this week.

February 10: Sun opposite Saturn

Once a year, the Sun opposes serious Saturn, casting a spotlight on the rule-maker. This opposition always occurs at the halfway point of the Saturn retrograde period. Although this year the Saturn-Neptune opposition gives added complexity, it's still time to stand back and review how you're structuring your life. What important decisions are you making about yourself and the way you're living your life? As you enter the challenge of self-evaluation, make sure you don't slip over the line from assessing to depressing! This is simply a time to see how you can support yourself more effectively. Facing limitations and shedding old behaviors may be part of this process.

February 13: Venus sextile Mars

Venus in romantic Pisces and Mars in ambitious Capricorn make a great team in this water-earth combo. Venus softens the hard edges of Mars, and Mars provides a strong shoulder to lean on. If it weren't for the fact that they are both about to make a quincunx (150 degree) aspect tomorrow forming a major aspect pattern called a Yod, everything would remain all sweet. Grab it today while it lasts!

February 14: Venus and Mars quincunx Saturn

Although Venus and Mars are getting along famously, they're both held in check by the taskmaster, Saturn. Delays, restrictions and stop signs are all cautioning you to take your time and pay attention. Is somebody or something running interference? It may be as simple as the fact that you can't find a babysitter, or your honey has a last-minute work assignment that delays your Valentine's Day celebration. Perhaps your restaurant reservations weren't made in time. Be flexible.

February 14: Mercury retrogrades in Pisces

Mercury entered empathic Pisces on February 2. You may be feeling a bit thin-skinned now as Mercury turns retrograde in this sensitive water sign. Take time alone to gather your thoughts and to tune into yourself without distractions. Have no fear -- Mercury will retrograde back into Aquarius later this month, and your logical mind will return. But for the time being, keep your emotions in check and don't act until you know all of the facts. Take your time and don't be impulsive. And, of course, defer decision-making until after Mercury turns direct on March 8. This aspect is renowned for people making mistakes.

February 17: New Moon in Aquarius

Aquarius is the sign of freedom and independence. With the new Moon in this hopeful sign, you'll want to tune into the pleasure and comfort of others. Teamwork is your motto for this lunar cycle. Put energy into something you want to become stronger and more important in your life. Pluto forms a beautiful sextile aspect, which helps you deepen your connections with not only the people you love, but with humanity itself.

This new Moon will most affect those born February 15-19, May 17-21, August 19-23 and November18-22.

Enjoy the Sun's transit in Aquarius!

Cosmic Calendar, Saturday Jan 20th ~

"Once again, you can feel high as a kite and incredibly vitalized following yesterday's cosmic sparkplugs and Thursday night's New Moon. Now it's the Sun's turn to make waves as the solar orb enters Aquarius (3:02AM PST) for the next 30 days. Become more active in volunteer organizations, community affairs, team sports, and humanitarian causes close to your heart. Antique hunters can stumble into unforeseen gold mines this morning at garage sales, auctions and art fairs - courtesy of the monthly Moon-Neptune (6:03AM PST) and Moon-Venus (9:19AM PST) unions in Aquarius. Erotic impulses are also on the rise and love birds can feast on these Venusian and Neptunian vibrations for many hours throughout the morning or afternoon. Look into the merits of alternative medical treatments - like acupuncture, biofeedback, shiatsu and herbalism - as Mercury conjuncts Chiron in Aquarius (1:03PM PST). Think of novel ways to build rainbow bridges of trust and understanding to colleagues and friends in other parts of the world. Enjoy a night on the town and take in a musical concert, play or symphonic performance as the Moon in Aquarius aligns harmoniously with Pluto in Sagittarius (9:01PM PST). Be aware that this 60-degree association between the lunar orb and distant Pluto also starts a void lunar cycle lasting until 12:49AM PST tomorrow. Don't push your personal agenda or egocentric needs during the void lunar time-period."

Cosmic Calendar, Sunday Jan 21st ~

"You should have been on a roll during the last two days, but the universal picture is on the verge of changing - especially on Monday. Tomorrow will bring a Venus-Saturn polarity in the morning and a Jupiter-Uranus square in the afternoon. Both sky patterns - while susceptible to positive manipulation - often coincide with stormy emotional and mental conditions. Strive to be focused, attentive, logical and grounded during the next 48 hours. The Moon moves into Pisces (12:49AM PST) - activating your empathic and impressionable nature. Be more generous to the truly needy and disenfranchised. Give maternal figures and children in your family circle extra strokes during the monthly Moon-Ceres union in Pisces (2:45PM PST). This convergence can also increase your productivity quotient in business, the arts and beloved hobbies. The evening hours appear more uncertain as Mars semi-squares Neptune (6:03PM PST), Venus squares Vesta (6:05PM PST), and the Moon makes its monthly conjunction with Uranus (9:30PM PST). Any frictional tie between Mars and Neptune can synchronize with increasing chaos in partnerships. Don't feed those flames if you don't have to. The Venus-Vesta adversarial sky pattern is a warning to make sure your major valuables and investments are safe and sound. There's an "anything goes" feeling around the time of the Moon-Uranus encounter every month. Revolutionary ideas are rife, but nervous tension is building as well. Give anxiety and worries the brush-off. Chase away the blues on the dance floor tonight."

Don't worry about Merc rx'ing in Pisces -- this will be good for us!! (Pisces Moon here too)

Here's a blurb on the Merc retros in 2007:
"The major transitions during each Mercury retrograde in 2007, provide . adjustments needed for the completions and endings slated to occur. The Mercury retrograde process becomes important in the adjustments required for our journey as 2007 is the of the NINE-year numerology cycle that started in 1999. Mercury retrograde provides the opportunity to adjust our thoughts, attitudes and decisions and tie up loose ends from our old direction to clear the way for our new direction to emerge as we move toward 2008. The adjustments that are slated to occur in 2007 are in Air and Water signs. The water signs of the zodiac relates to our inner emotional and spiritual world and the air signs require mental adjustments and changes in our attitude during the retrograde.

Mercury relates to thoughts, concepts, ideas, and communication. When Mercury retrogrades, we find that many parts of our life are being revised. Often these revisions can be a surprise or throw us back a step. However, these revisions which occur during a Mercury retrograde, are a "course correction” and provide a stop gap measure until we can review situations. During this time of revision, change is compounded and confusion is created by our reactions to the ever-changing situations. Thus anything started during this time will ultimately be taken back or even revised further, making for a high-frustration time.

The best mode to be in during a Mercury retrograde is one of "non-reaction". Treat the time period as a time of gathering information, yet because the information will be in constant change it would be like trying to comb your hair in a wind storm. Best to wait until the changes stop before attempting to make things orderly. Therefore, just let the winds of situations blow around you without reacting. Once Mercury turns direct, take a look at the information that is still around at that time and go about integrating it into our life, while maintaining the fine art of flexibility.

Mercury Retrogrades occurring in 2007, touch into water signs, causing us to review our emotions and our emotional connection with our own self and the self of others. Then as the retrograde occurs and moves into the air signs, we must adjust our mental attitudes and thought patterns to integrate the events and new information that occurs.

Starting with the Mercury retrograde in February/March 2007, our emotional connection with our spiritual self will be reviewed and then we will look back to the air sign of Aquarius, ruling humanity. We will begin to refocus our connection to others according to the intuitive and spiritual connections we have. This adjustment will have many varied events that prompt us to review our spiritual blueprint and how we are integrating our own spiritual directions with those of others."

Thank You Azalaksh for this nice posts,
Well, maybe it won't be so hard, but when Merc stops going retrograde, stormy March and April come...Saturn makes final turn and opposition to my Venus at 19:00 + Neptune conjucts Venus + Jupiter right on my AC.
Nice one, isn't it...?

Cosmic Calendar, Monday Jan 22nd ~

"You've got your work cut out for you right now as planetary clashes can get out of hand. What you need to focus on are a Venus-Saturn polarity involving Aquarius and Leo (7:40AM PST) followed by Jupiter in Sagittarius making a frictional square to Uranus in Pisces (1:42PM PST). The Jupiter-Uranus face-off is much more rare and potent, but both sky patterns have the capacity to knock your socks off. The Venus-Saturn opposition equates with alarm bells sounding in affairs of the heart and business matters. Make sure crystal clear communication is happening between you and primary partners. Anticipate delays, frustrations or challenges arriving on the scene and then you won't become too disappointed if your expectations are dashed. On the Jupiter-Uranus front, this alignment can be tweaked into favorability by cracking open metaphysical texts, focusing on educational goals, and being a high-tech whirlwind. Nevertheless, this alignment can coincide with increasing anxiety, nervousness and unpredictability across the board. If you are traveling a lot, give yourself more time to reach a crucial destination or meeting. A Mercury-Pluto 45-degree link (1:43PM PST) and Venus-Saturn contra-parallel (11:44PM PST) can also play the role of spoilsports - mentally (regarding the former) and emotionally (regarding the latter). What may rescue the day is the Moon moving through psychic, sensitive and flowing Pisces - plus a productive and supportive sextile of 60 degrees between Mercury and Jupiter (8:13AM PST). Note that the Moon begins a void cycle at 11:12PM PST - lasting until 2:53AM PST tomorrow. Put all major decisions on the backburner overnight."

Cosmic Calendar, Tuesday jan 23rd ~

"Yesterday's jeers and fears can turn into today's cheers if you play your cards right. First of all, notice that the Moon enters fiery Aries (2:53AM PST) and simultaneously starts a new round through the zodiac. You can be more assertive, dynamic and bold in your forward advances. Take a least one baby or giant leap somewhere in your life. Staying stuck in a rut is not an option. This is not to negate yesterday's cosmic storms in the form of Venus opposing Saturn and Jupiter squaring Uranus. Both of those sky patterns can still test your resolve on the romantic, business, social, and educational fronts. Therefore, do not be lulled into a false sense of bliss and contentment. Stay on target with key projects and activities. Aries Moon singles you out and may suggest it is better to work on your own rather than in a partnership or group format for the time being. Put investments and insurance policies under the microscope while Vesta in Scorpio squares Saturn in Leo (6:08AM PST). Consider beefing up security and safety measures around your residence or office. Your creative and artistic powers receive a major boost as Venus in Aquarius and Jupiter in Sagittarius reach a highly stimulating quintile pattern of 72 degrees (11:30AM PST). Another feather in your intellectual cap arrives at 3:20PM PST when Pallas and Chiron converge in Aquarius. Healing vibrations are reaching a new peak. Learn more about medical, scientific and technological advances that are inspiring millions of people. Improve your diet with the goal of strengthening your immune system. This can be a great afternoon and evening for ingenious breakthroughs."

Cosmic Calendar, Wed Jan 24th ~

"The universe backs off from intensity to calm as planetary alignments recede from center stage. In their place, the Moon takes command for 24 hours. The lunar orb in Aries forms flowing and harmonious alignments with Jupiter in Sagittarius (12:11AM PST), Mercury in Sagittarius (5:04AM PST), Neptune in Aquarius (10:44AM PST), Saturn in Leo (5:33PM PST), and Venus in Aquarius (11:29PM PST). The early morning vibrations point you toward making progress in literary, journalistic and educational endeavors. Around the time the Moon connects with Neptune, the fine and graphic arts - plus music, dance and spiritual studies - look promising. The tie between the Moon and Saturn suggests the need to be more focused, responsible, grounded and logical. Gains can be made on the professional front for several hours just before and after the exact Moon-Saturn liaison. The late-night Moon-Venus rapport is an invitation to pursue romance with two feminine celestial bodies offering encouragement. The Moon in Aries all day enhances your leadership traits and gives you extra vitality to accomplish everything on your to-do list. For lovers and creative artists, an added bonus tonight is that Venus in Aquarius and Juno in Libra are approaching a nurturing trine pattern of 120 degrees - an alignment that becomes exact at 4:45AM PST tomorrow."

Cosmic Calendar, Thursday Jan 25th ~

"If you feel erotic impulses gaining the upper hand this morning, you are not alone. Millions of people are grooving on love potion number 9 due to a harmonious Venus-Juno trine of 120 degrees from Aquarius to Libra (4:45AM PST). Artistic ventures receive the green light in the morning hours. Now it is important to note that the Moon is void from 1:51AM PST until 5:30AM PST when the lunar orb switches from fiery Aries to earthy Taurus. Once the Moon is safely in Taurus territory, be more focused on financial matters and re-establishing your physical fitness routines. Commune with Mother Nature for several hours. Really experience the birds, trees and sky. You may feel the urge to bake bread, fill up the pantry and fridge with goodies, and go on a cooking binge. The bloom may be off the rose by 3:03PM PST during the First Quarter Sun-Moon Phase - energizing 6 degrees of Aquarius and Taurus. This can be a time where you must deal with acute challenges that have suddenly appeared on the horizon. Your goal is to hurdle over obstacles and roadblocks in your path with finesse and wisdom. Watch out for inertia, obstinacy and laziness - any of which or all three that can send you reeling back to square one. Be more generous with your affections this evening as Venus nears a supportive sextile of 60 degrees to Pluto (exact at 2:59AM PST tomorrow). A catharsis or transformation in romance may be waiting in the wings."

Cosmic Calendar, Friday Jan 26th ~

"Stop, look and listen! There are great opportunities for growth and advancement right now, but it is easy to take a cosmic detour at the same time. Your main support system comes from the Moon traveling through stabilizing and reassuring Taurus while Venus connects to distant Pluto via a sextile formation of 60 degrees (2:59AM PST). Changes, shifts and new energy are attempting to enhance a romantic tie, your artistic expression or business acumen. Be more attentive to these areas of your life. Mercury - the planet of communication, transportation, learning and information exchange - is a dominant influence as well since it conjuncts Neptune in Aquarius (5:21AM PST) and then makes a parallel link with Pluto (8:46AM PST). Mercury in touch with Neptune and Pluto can stimulate your creative imagination, psychic sensitivity and willpower. You can move forward - in dramatic fashion - as a student or teacher in a wide variety of fields. However, confusion and chaos are a shadow component any time Mercury contacts Neptune. Plus - it's easy to become your own worst enemy when Mercury forms an association with Pluto. Keep these warnings firmly in mind this morning during the most exact time-periods when Mercury connects with these tricky outer planets in the solar system. Plunge into a beloved hobby or craft tonight under the comforting aegis of Taurus Moon. Utilize an approaching Mars-Saturn 135-degree link - exact at 2:15AM PST tomorrow - to facilitate your hard work and expertise."

For the 22nd - 28th, from Anne Ortelee:

"Forward we go! Our week ahead features Venus entering one of her favorite signs as well as a few aspects that will push us forward on brand new adventures as we continue to wrap up our old stuff. There are an unusual number of parallel declinations in the sky between Venus, Neptune, Mercury, Pluto, and Ceres. Parallels act like conjunctions and begin new things as they end old things. Additionally, there are contraparallels of Venus and Mercury with Saturn. Contraparallels act like oppositions and force us to look at things in a very clear way. We will be looking at our sibling, communication and relationship, desire and value issues as Venus and Mercury face off with Saturn and join up with Neptune, Ceres and Pluto by declination.

Declinations often seem to have more of an impact in behind the scenes ways. They are kind of a hidden aspect, as most astrologers don’t pay much attention to them. However, they reverberate profoundly across earth as they connect planetary energies that might not be talking to each other in unusual ways. They are formed when planets are at the same degree of declination (or latitude) above or below the sun’s apparent path around the earth and the equator.

What do I mean by unusual ways? Well, we think of oppositions as being element based fights because, for the most part, they are. Aquarius argues with Leo, air opposes and yet needs fire while Pisces squabbles with Virgo as water opposes and yet needs earth. When we have a contraparallel in the sky, planets that might normally get along are suddenly arguing, even if they are in the same elements and signs! Kind of like fighting with your best friend rather than the person who usually gets on your nerves! Additionally, parallels are extra fun ~ they blend different kinds of energy together that don‘t normally blend ~ so they can create volatile mixtures ~ fire joins with earth and water with air or fire with water and earth with air. You get the idea! Parallels create unions, marriages or partnerships where two people that you can’t imagine WHAT they see in each other get together. They do get together. And the results tend to be weird!

Another thing that can happen with declination aspects is they can magnify the regular zodiac aspects. The proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back ~ a situation that seems like a “small” matter, maybe even trivial, completely shifts a situation. Forever. One relatively minor struggle or comment and POOF ~ the relationship explodes and disappears!

In the week ahead, we are going to see combinations of air, fire and water with our declination mixes. It is one of those weeks where the events that take place will become MORE important over time. Note well what happens. The things that are seeded now set the pace and theme for your future. It is a turning point week.

Another noteworthy event is Jupiter’s closing square to Uranus in Pisces. The current Jupiter/Uranus cycle started with the conjunction back on February 15, 1997 at 5 Aquarius. It began the cycle that is starting to come to psychological and integrative closure now. In May of 2000, Jupiter squared Uranus at 20:48 Taurus right before he joined with Saturn to start a new 20-year cycle, asking you to make a change. Did you? Back in August of 2003, you culminated the cycle when Jupiter and Uranus opposed each other and looked at each other across the room. You were offered an opportunity to change your relationships then. Did you take it?

Now you have the first of three opportunities to say to the Universe, “Yep, I do get it!” and demonstrate your new and deeply personal knowledge of your own evolution and the nature of that Jupiter/Uranus capacity for transformational creativity within you. If you DIDN’T take the earlier opportunities to change, expect the universe to jolt you a bit (nicely though as it is Jupiter and Uranus)! Time to change! Change your relationships! Change your self! Jupiter and Uranus will square each other two more times this year, on May 10, 2007 and October 9, 2007. It doesn’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be perfect. You merely have to be understood, and understand yourself. You have to be willing to change. You have to demonstrate that willingness to all who gaze upon your decisions. Then, of course, you have to act, using and implementing your new knowledge. If you don’t change, the pressure on you will continue to build as Jupiter and Uranus dance with each other the rest of the year!

Finally, Venus and Mercury make an opposition to Saturn while making various declination aspects to Saturn, Neptune, Pluto and Ceres. Venus represents what is valuable to you and Mercury represents speaking up and asking for what you want. So this week is all about Knowing what you want and asking for it while Saturn, Neptune, Pluto and Ceres are looking at you asking “WELL?” Do remember if the person you ask first cannot or will not give it to you, that does NOT mean you will never find it. Just that you have to be aware of what you want and you have to say, loudly and clearly, to the universe and anyone who happens to be in the room, what exactly it IS that you want.

Monday has a squabbley, squawky kind of energy. Venus is opposite to Saturn and bringing up the story from that last week of August 2006 to flail and flog herself with! Enough already! Let it go. Move on! Around November 12, 2006, Venus squared Saturn and argued with him YET AGAIN about her value to him. Venus opposes Saturn this week, by aspect and declination so the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back is up and active. It is NOT going to be big but it very well might be permanent if you don’t step in, step up and change your behavior! A Venus Saturn combination has a hard time standing up for itself. You have to ask! And you have to ask CLEARLY for what you want! Otherwise, you will get NADA! NOTHING! ASK!!! It is a wonderful day for feeling sorry for yourself and going into a major pity, poor me mode. Additionally, Jupiter squares Uranus, the first of three squares, today. The end of the story might very well be postponed until these aspects are complete next October. I know, I hate it when that happens! We’ll have to wait to find out how the story will turn out. It is a cliffhanger. Any separations announced today are probably major and permanent and the results of actions undertaken back in February of 1997. Don’t you love astrology? The Moon occults Uranus today so expect revelations too!

Tuesday, Venus opposes Saturn by declination. It is the same story, yet again, but different. It clicks in this time, this moment. If you’ve been trying to figure out what to do about a situation in your life, today you will say “That is what I have to do.” There is inevitability about any decisions made today. You see it in a way you hadn’t seen it before. A click. A settling in of the tumblers on the lock. It was always THERE! You got it intellectually ~ or at least you noticed it. Today it becomes real. The emotions shift. And you can’t go home or back to the old version of your truth ever again. This is a lovely day for finding out about financial malfeasance, relationship infidelities, or similar “betrayals” around money, structure, love and value. If I tell you it isn’t a betrayal and will actually be for your benefit down the road, you might not believe me. However, we will BOTH agree that it is a necessary moment in time to get you to move forward. It make also be when you get what you want and are completely freaked out by it. Make sure to ask for what you need. If you can’t ask, get yourself a great lawyer and have THEM ask for what you need. No fighting for yourself if you find yourself betrayed. No freaking out if you get what you ask for. If you are the one doing the betraying, fess up. It is time for you to leave now, stop now, or go some place else. It is over. If you are the one who wants to change, you can actually change and evolve now to the next level. Moon in Aries gives us the emotional kick we need to take a step forward.

Wednesday, we recover, emotionally, psychically and physically. A bed day is in order if yesterday was bad. If you are the one leaving, pack. If you got what you wanted, well congratulations and on to the next phase! Moon in Aries makes lovely aspects. Forward!

Thursday: When we first start to learn astrology, we learn to see the big cycles. We learn how everything has a beginning, testing, culmination, integration, and conclusion. The cycle happens. We move forward on the wheel of time, the wheel of our fortune. The wheel will be spinning today and getting ready to settle into a new dream or vision tomorrow as Mercury finishes up his last moments before joining with Neptune. Note well what you like and more importantly, what you do not like. Let go of the do not likes. Send them off to good will or give them away to someone who can use them. As Mercury aspects the North Node today, please take a moment to see how your behavior and actions (or lack of them) have contributed to where you are now. It is always a dance, a dance that helps you grow and evolve. Taurus Moon reminds us that to every thing there is a season.

Friday, Mercury has a change in consciousness. He joins with Neptune in either a beer of sorrow or in a new, revised vision of what he can be if as he HAS decided to change. Mercury joins with Pluto by declination. I know whenever I see this aspect I am reminded of what goes around comes around and we reap what we sow. Do you like what you have in your life? Now is the time to change the image, the request, and move your dreams, toward what you’d like.

Saturday, Venus enters Pisces. There is an opportunity for yes or no. What will you decide? To help your process, I’ll quote Pete Seeger:

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn),
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace,
A time to refrain from embracing

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time for peace, I swear its not too late

Sunday, embrace the possibility of change. You can change. Incrementally, one step at a time! Do a teeny, tiny bit of change today. It will move. Honest. The declination aspects of Neptune with Ceres and Mercury as Mercury opposes Saturn by both declination and zodiacal degree are our true New Year’s Eve. Time for your resolution! Time to act. Quit smoking. Stop drinking. Put down the drugs. Start exercising. Keep your commitments. Get on a diet. Go to therapy. Quit your job. Take your vitamins. Move. Start your business. Join Match.com. Write your book. Get a dog.

Your life is passing you by. What EVER are you waiting for? Permission? Well, the universe is giving you permission to start right now, right here. The new season of your life starts today. Take advantage of the energy of change and evolution. Direct it, consciously, towards your best life. If you change your thoughts, you change your mind. If you change your beliefs, you change your world.

Mundane: A reader wrote to me suggesting I expand the astrological history lessons to include currency. The new Moon last week on the USA Pluto at 27 Capricorn in our second house of money and next month on the USA Moon at 27 Aquarius in the third house of trade will start a process of our currency collapsing or changing radically over the next few years. Currently, our economy is being artificially supported. We are not seeing the impact of our huge war expenses, the trade deficit or our lack of attention to our growing debt to ourselves and other nations.

The USA dollar is the currency that the world exchanges when they buy and sell oil. All the local country currencies get converted into USA dollars. The USA dollars are exchanged as oil is bought and sold. The USA dollars are converted back into local currencies. By being “the stable currency” of choice, it is in everyone’s interest to support the USA dollar. Right before we invaded Iraq, Saddam Hussein announced he was going to start selling oil in Euros. Iran just made the same announcement. If people have a CHOICE of currencies to purchase oil with, instead having to use the MONOPOLY of the USA Dollar, they will select the currency that is giving them the best exchange rate for their local currency. The Euro solves the age-old issue of multiple currencies in Europe. There is now a stable SECOND currency in the world, supported by a number of nations that are stable. The second currency will be available to the world to buy and sell oil.

Additionally, the USA stopped publishing the M3 back a while ago. The M3 reported on the amount of USA dollars in circulation. Now that we are not publishing the M3, essentially, we can print as much money as we’d like, without telling anyone in the world ~ devaluing our own dollar further with too much supply. Of COURSE, we wouldn’t DO that, print extra money without telling the world, but we COULD, if we wanted to! Not publishing the M3 makes our currency less “stable”, less predictable and less reliable. Our government is not trusted by the world in general right now because of our leadership. We’ve stopped telling the world how many USA greenbacks are flowing out into the world by not publishing the M3.

So, if YOU were a foreign country, would you invest in something more or less stable with your country’s money? Would you invest in a currency backed by a country that lies to its people, has invaded another nation, is spending madly, has no savings, is generating a huge war debt, a huge trade deficit and acts like an idiot with next to no knowledge of history combined with an obsession with American Idol and bigger is better? Or would you invest in a nice, reliable, conservative, and stable currency backed by a European Union of Nations, a bunch of grown up, adult countries that have seen and experienced war and deprivation resulting in conservative behavior? Where would you put your money, if you were offered a CHOICE?

Watch for the opposition and declination aspects of Venus and Mercury to Saturn, Pluto and Neptune to produce a distinct “Nope, I am not going to do it” energy towards authority figures and power over energy around the world and in your life."

Cosmic Calendar, Saturday Jan 27th ~

"As mentioned yesterday, a Mars-Saturn encounter clocks in at 2:15AM this morning. These two planets are in Capricorn and Leo - forming a strong and potentially abrasive 135-degree tie. If you are not wise and careful, this sky pattern can lead to brooding, pessimism and discontent. On the other hand, you can nip those negative vibrations in the bud by tapping into the dynamic duo of hard work and determination to reach important goals. There is a brief void lunar cycle this morning from 8:09AM PST to 9:11AM PST (when the Moon enters airy Gemini). After the Moon enters Gemini, it can be a red-banner day for antique hunters, memorabilia seekers and music lovers. Gemini Moon usually makes people more eager, curious, vocal and busy. Reading, writing and research are highlighted. Visit a favorite bookstore or carry home a wide assortment of masterworks from your local library. Be confident if you enter into philosophical debates on subjects close to your heart. There is a major shift on the romantic horizon as Venus enters Pisces (7:33PM PST) until February 21. Venus has always been considered exalted and therefore extra strong in this final sign of the zodiac. Be more empathic and compassionate to people on the skids. Improve the quality of a primary partnership during the next 3-4 weeks. Nurture maternal figures and children in your family circle tonight as Ceres parallels Neptune (9:16PM PST). Your productivity quotient can soar as an imaginative and impressionable artist, writer, musician or jack of all trades."

Cosmic Calendar, Sunday Jan 28th ~

"If you were planning on conducting important business meetings or strategy sessions today, think again. A Mercury-Neptune parallel (6:28AM PST) and the annual Mercury-Saturn polarity (10:08AM PST) - this year from Aquarius to Leo - can toss a significant monkey wrench into your plans. It's not impossible to experience serious and profound realizations concerning financial matters and career moves, but you may be better off keeping a safe distance from crucial decision-making. It is certainly not a favorable time for buying large-ticket items and signing legal papers. Saturn's opposition to Mercury and Neptune's presence create the tendency toward too much dissension, deception and misunderstanding right now. The creative arts, film, photography, dance, music, poetry and spiritual studies remain viable options throughout the day. You can also learn great lessons from a revered teacher or mentor. Catch up with e-mail and snail-mail correspondence as the Moon continues its march through lively and energetic Gemini. Consider signing up for a class or workshop. If you are becoming more intrigued about unusual methods of healing and doing more soul-searching than normal, it may be because of the approaching Sun-Chiron union in Aquarius - an annual conjunction that will occur early on Tuesday. These high-level and mentally-stimulating vibrations will be even more noticeable tomorrow."

Cosmic Calendar, Monday Jan 29th ~

"Make sure you get out of bed on the right foot this morning. The workweek begins with a fair amount of emotional storminess and mental tension - courtesy of the monthly Moon-Pluto opposition from Gemini to Sagittarius (10:41AM PST). In the giant scheme of things, a Moon-Pluto polarity is usually not disastrous in nature and is certainly not rare - happening 13 times in a calendar year. However, this alignment is the key aspect of the morning - that begins a new workweek - and it also starts a void lunar cycle lasting until 2:17PM PST when the Moon enters Cancer. Therefore, stay on the good side of a loved one, boss or colleague in the morning hours. You have to follow this rule later on - for other reasons - since Mercury moves 45 degrees to Mars (3:15PM PST). Projecting anger onto well-meaning friends and family members will backfire. The good news is that home and domestic interests top the charts - thanks to the Moon's arrival in watery Cancer. Add some light, color and pizzazz to a favorite room. Make your kitchen and bath areas sparkle again. Nostalgic currents wax in power and film classics are back in vogue. The love boat sails for exotic ports of call this evening while the Moon forms a flowing trine with Venus in water signs (6:42PM PST). Waves of healing, nurturance and contentment can wash over you after midnight as the Sun makes its annual conjunction with Chiron in Aquarius (12:41AM PST tomorrow). Think of new ways to spread goodwill throughout your community and around the world."

From Yasmin Boland ( http://www.yasminboland.com/ ) ~

"Monday January 29 - Moon in Gemini

Moon Meditation: "I am clear in my ideas..."

The idea today is to take a long hard look at something which is
worrying you.

Are you driving yourself into a depression? Are you terrorizing
yourself with your thoughts? Have you allowed someone else to
criticise you so often and so much that you're starting to believe
the nasty things they say? Or have you perhaps been mean to someone?

My new favourite quote of last week was from author J.M. Barrie (who
created Peter Pan) who said: 'Everyone you meet is fighting some
kind of battle. Always be a little kinder than necessary...'

This is extra true for today. It's a day to think seriously. Also
very good for signing contracts and agreements."

Cosmic Calendar, Tuesday Jan 30th ~

"Being an agent or ambassador of goodwill - as mentioned at the end of yesterday's calendar entry - is not mere idealism or airy-fairy in essence. Scientists and researchers for decades have determined the power of human thought to influence plants, animals and human beings. While the tenets of extra-sensory perception and mental telepathy are still in their infancy, it is wise to utilize today's annual Sun-Chiron conjunction in Aquarius (12:41 AM PST) as a springboard toward learning more about advanced healing modalities. Tap into your dreams, visions and intuitive awareness. Study up on eastern mysticism, zen philosophy, reincarnation and the nutritional value of herbs. Read about affirmation and visualization techniques that enhance body, mind and soul. A Mercury-Jupiter 72-degree quintile rapport helps your efforts (7:38AM PST), and adds momentum to any literary and educational works you currently have in the fire. Make sure dear ones are safe and sound while Mercury in Aquarius squares Vesta in Scorpio (12:24PM PST). A long void lunar cycle begins at 1:32PM PST and lasts until 9:16PM PST tomorrow night. This creates a twilight zone type of time-cycle of over 31 hours when uncertainty reigns and circumstances beyond your control may be in the catbird seat. It's wise to complete old business during the void Moon time-period and refrain from initiating new ventures. Lovers can still find happiness and pleasure this evening in synchronicity with a Venus-Chiron parallel (8:09PM PST). You can also utilize this alignment as a major boost for your artistic hobbies."

From Anne Ortelee ~
quote:
Weekly Weather Forecast, Jan 29th – Feb 4th

Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. Time to adjust. Whenever you run into a situation in your world that is hmmmm, difficult? Crazy making? Crabby? Cranky? Vexing? Irritating? Stressful? Annoying? Not going the way you’d like? Or perhaps it is one of those bad dogs in your life barking and barking and barking at your boss, at you, at the mailman or your neighbor’s cat or the squirrel in the tree? Adjust.

Your job is to announce “Well, I guess it is time to adjust!”And adjust! OR suggest the other guy adjust. Suggest nicely! “Perhaps an adjustment is needed?” THEY are NOT going to want to adjust any more than YOU want to adjust. Or perhaps BOTH of you can AGREE to adjust, A SMIDGE, just a smidge, hold hands and jump into the adjustment pond at the count of one-two-three! Some things or some ones or some situations must, need, have to, simply have to adjust. We have oodles of adjusting energy ahead! Cranky, crabby, adjusting energy. Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. And, it, whatever it is, doesn’t want to adjust! In fact, it probably wants to stamp its feet and have a bit of a temper tantrum right in front of you.

The point of adjusting energy aspects (semi-sextiles, semi-squares and inconjuncts) is to frustrate us! When we are sufficiently frustrated, we act. We get frustrated into producing change or movement. We move out of inertia towards action OR we change from unconscious behavior into conscious behavior. The energy for the week is semi-square stress energies (four of them) and semi-sextile energies (eight of them). Semi-sextile energies act like inconjuncts in reverse. They require we live in the moment and make sure to watch out for what is coming out of our blind spot. Semi-square energies create irritation. Plain old irritation. Live in the moment and deal with the situation before you AS IT IS.

During aspects like these, I often fantasize about what it would be like to be queen of the world. Well, IF I RULED the World, THEN I would …. But I don’t rule the world. You don’t rule the world. We merely live in it with a few billion other folks who also wish THEY ruled the world in the week ahead too! We all need to adjust.

So why does the universe send us energy like this? So we can see things clearly as we move forward. So we learn to take care of ourselves better. So we become a bit better at navigating the world. And, finally, so we learn, and Remember, to KEEP looking at the world in our BRAND NEW way. Remember when you pulled out to change a lane without checking your blind spot? And then that car to your left, IN your blind spot, honked VERY LOUDLY ~ startling you? You might have even side-swiped them with your side mirror? And you DEFINITELY swerved RIGHT back into your lane? That’s the energy of the week ahead. Adjust.
The point of blind spots is to remind us to LOOK. Pay attention. Turn your head and check to SEE if there is something IN your blind spot BEFORE you change lanes! LOOK! Ask the passenger if you are close enough to the curb as you parallel park. Eventually, you will remember or learn well enough or whatever but right now the universe is trying to teach you to be a bit more conscious about what you are looking at. You are learning about your blind spot. You will have to adjust to deal with the reality of your blind spot a bit more graciously. No long horn honks and curses as you pull quickly back into your lane, aborting that lane change into your blind spot.

You are learning how to navigate with a bit more clarity. To notice you HAVE a blind spot! To judge your blind spot clearly. To see your blind spot for what it is. It isn‘t bad. It isn‘t wrong. It is just YOUR blind spot. We all have blind spots. Take notice of your blind spot.

And, if you have a bit of a fender bender this week, or manage to rip the mirror off your car because you forgot to look before you lept, you‘ve learned a valuable lesson! It is a mirror. An, expensive, silly mirror in a ridiculous place on the side of the road because the mirror DOESN’T SHOW YOU cars driving smack dab in the middle of YOUR BLIND SPOT! However, the sound of that mirror crunching right off your car sure pointed out your blind spot didn’t it? Your blind spot is what the Universe wants you to see. However, I am betting the blind spot is not on your car. The blind spot involves a situation right in front of your very nose. Watch for your blind spot this week.

We also have Sun joining with Chiron and Mercury changing signs into dreamy Pisces. We have a Lovely full Moon at 12:59 Leo, on Candlemas or Ground Hog Day marking the Sun’s cross quarter or semi-square day in his journey across our heavens. The full Moon culminates projects begun back in August 4, 2005 when a new Moon at 12 Leo took place. You remember, right after that difficult family story described by Saturn in Cancer finished up? Way back when Saturn first entered Leo and you made a solemn vow to do something or other different once you figured out the family drama? So how have you done? I know, I know. You’ve been distracted. It’s been a tough go with Saturn in Leo and that darned fixed cross. But time is a-wasting.

Aren’t blind spots fun? Do you see how your blind spot might have distracted you from the tasks at hand in your life? Maybe even diverted you from living your fullest life? Not to worry. All part of the cosmic plan. All part of learning to do your Saturn. All part of learning to integrate that blind spot into your new method of driving so you can accelerate into the fast lane. So make sure to adjust if you run into situations that require it. You only have to be conscious of adjusting and watching out for that blind spot until mid-April when Saturn stations to go direct. After that, you are going to integrate the blind spot right into your new way of driving your life.

Moon’s day, Monday, asks us to focus our brilliance on whom, what and how we partner as well as our actions. The Moon in Gemini is void for over three hours today. Think about the connection between what you SAY you want and what you are actually DOING to GET or CREATE what you SAY you want. Where is the block? Time to adjust. Where is your blind spot? Mercury’s aspect to Mars causes Mars to point out the Sun’s blind spot. It is a 12th house aspect and a blind spot in your chart and your being. The aspects today will illuminate HOW you UNDO yourself. No judgment here. Just hear the cosmic horn honk and get your butt back into your lane! You can even swear if you want to. Or perhaps watch your mirror get taken off and THEN adjust and get back into your lane. We ALL have blind spots. This happens to be yours.

Tuesday, Mars’ day, finds yesterday’s ‘almost’ fender bender in your life and perhaps your missing mirror leading you to a profound new wisdom and understanding of your blind spot. Yep, you might be a bit shaken by yesterday’s events. Sun joins with Chiron today. It is a dent. It is your life. It is a dent in your life. You are alive and well. These things happen. Dents happen. Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. The whole point of learning about blind spots is so they DON’T STAY blind spots as you continue down the road of your life. You are going to look a bit more closely next time. Life is about the bangs, bumps, dents and bruises we get as we travel along as well as the fun stuff. While we may not like that dent part, it is part and parcel of the package of life. Blind spots are only blind spots if you don’t know you have a blind spot! Once you know about a blind spot, it isn’t blind any more! Very cool eh?

Wednesday is Mercury’s day and he‘s got positive aspects to Pluto and Juno while the world experiences a very long void Moon in Cancer. That means you can get news that will amount to nothing! The news sounds good, maybe even fabulous, delicious and delectable. But think of it as more of an enticement than a deliverable! You will have to adjust your expectations over the next few days. And, if the news makes you nervous, great! Look at how it makes you nervous! Is THAT another blind spot? I thought so.

Thursday, Jupiter’s day, the Moon has no aspects but there are bunches of squabbles in the heavens between various cranky planets. Sun is cranky with Mom ~ “No, you are NOT going out of the house dressed like that!” Adjust. Adjust. Saturn points out delusion as he faces off with Neptune ~ “Will you stop with your silly dream?” Adjust. Adjust. Partnerships aren‘t nurturing ~ “You only hurt the ones you Love (sometimes)!” Adjust. Adjust. Home and hearth have arguments ~ “When you use the last roll of paper towels will you WRITE it on the shopping list!” Adjust. Adjust. Ego and freedom squabble. Or perhaps the ‘free will’ decides it wants to exercise it’s version of freedom with an iron will ~ “You aren’t the boss of me!” Adjust. Adjust. Blind spots all. Adjust. Adjust. Adjust.

Friday, Venus’ day, finds the Moon full in Leo as Mercury makes a brilliant communication via dreams. As you sleep, Mercury moves out of Aquarius into Pisces. Do make an effort to remember your vivid dreams when you awaken in the morning. There are important messages in the dreams about using your power strategically as well as understanding the impact of power upon you. Good power and bad power. Blind spots. Both power dynamics and blind spots are active and awake under the aspects today. Pluto has harsh aspects to Pallas Athena and to the Sun so watch for power and Pluto situations. Words can hurt today as Mercury joins with Chiron by declination. Avoid signing permanent release contracts today. Take the weekend to think about it your options. Moon also occults Saturn, bringing Saturn’s energy to the forefront of your emotions. Remember ~ adjust, adjust, adjust. Make sure to adjust. You don’t have to decide right this second. Let them know next week. Read my full Moon column for more information on dealing with the full Moon energy today.

Saturn’s day finds Mars aspecting Uranus and the Sun sextiling Jupiter. Today you are going to think about all the stuff you SHOULD have said yesterday! Gather data. Get the files ready. Buy the new filing cabinets and shredder. Do your research. Decide what it is you‘d like to accomplish. Today is a particularly productive day for tackling the projects that have been hanging around on your desk or closets that are overflowing. If you are a thrift shopper or garage sale person, LOTS of bargains will be available this weekend and next week. It is a Lovely day to harness the energy of the heavens towards setting up systems, projects or situations to support your future. Virgo Moon makes it a day to take on Herculean tasks AND actually finish them. Perhaps prepare your taxes?
Sun’s day finds Pluto putting the finishing touches on yesterday’s project as the Virgo Moon continues to make wonderful if expensive or expansive projects clip along. Personally, I’ve decided to paint my kitchen and tile my kitchen floor this weekend. The aspects are too wonderful to waste! If you put yesterday‘s aspects with today‘s and just labor away like all a Lovely, hard working Virgo, you‘ll be AMAZED, simply Amazed, at all you accomplish.

Mundane: Even George and Dick don’t rule the world. They are going to have to adjust too! Expect slap downs, tantrums, bad behavior and hissy fits from our leaders. Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. There is a good possibility that Mr. Cheney will have a health problem as the transiting Sun joins with transiting Chiron right smack on his Natal Sun in the sixth house (January 30, 1941, 7:30 pm CST, Lincoln, Nebraska) on January 30, 2007. His chart is further set off by the full Moon in his sixth house on February 2, 2006. Remember, the sixth house rules Mr. Cheney’s employees, as in Scooter Libby, his indicted former chief aide. Scooter Libby’s perjury and obstruction trial is underway. In the Justice Department’s trial about their thwarted investigation into the Valerie Plame Leak case, Mr. Cheney will be testifying FOR the defense, AGAINST the government’s case, the USA CIA and federal investigators. Gonna be IN~ TER~ rest~ ting! Pop a big batch of buttered popcorn with parmesan cheese and sit down to watch it on C-Span! The Libby trial promises to be great fun with the aspects for the week ahead. Also, now that the new Congress is seated, look for action and investigations into the Bush/ Cheney Administration secrets as Mercury enters Pisces.

Cosmic Calendar, Wednesday Jan 31st ~

"While you are still in the midst of a long void lunar cycle - lasting until 9:16PM PST (when the Moon enters fiery Leo) - this doesn't stop you from preparing for tomorrow night's powerful Full Moon. The two days every month preceding a Full Moon are 'days of preparation' - an opportunity to open heart and mind to the coming dispensation of positive and inspiring cosmic energies. The Moon continues moving through Cancer - strengthening the urge to clean house, literally and figuratively. Cooking, baking and domestic concerns are in the limelight. Work in harmony with dear ones and business associates toward common goals this morning as Mercury in Aquarius forms a flowing trine with Juno in Libra (7:15AM PST). Hit the psychology and metaphysical books in the afternoon and evening while Mercury makes a supportive sextile pattern of 60 degrees with Pluto (6:33PM PST). There is a developing battle between massive confusion (due to a Saturn-Neptune contra-parallel arriving tomorrow morning) and mental brilliance (with a potent Sun-Pallas conjunction happening tomorrow afternoon). Phase one of this clash occurs within your energy field today while the second phase reaches a crescendo on Thursday. Your artistic sensibility and prowess gain stature once the Moon enters Leo (9:16PM PST). A selfless and giving attitude tonight is the winning ticket when it comes to romance and key partnerships."

Cosmic Calendar, Thursday Feb 1st ~

"If you enjoy strange and unusual full Moon experiences, get ready for an emotional and psychological roller-coaster ride for much of the day and night. Steer clear of interpersonal chaos in the morning hours as Saturn makes a contra-parallel aspect to Neptune (7:00AM PST). These two planets are in the midst of three polarities in the zodiac from August 31, 2006 to February 28, 2007 and June 25, 2007. The contra-parallel alignment can be seen as a similar stressful sky pattern and uncertainty is temporarily back in the catbird seat. However, with a little logic and pragmatism, you can right your ship of state - courtesy of a mentally stimulating Sun-Pallas conjunction in Aquarius (2:29PM PST). This union has been building for the last 24-48 hours and will remain potent through tomorrow. Conduct strategy sessions with a counselor, coach or adviser during the afternoon hours. Creative artistic expression receives a glowing green light. The evening brings the exact moment of the full Moon (9:46PM PST) - activating 13 degrees of Aquarius and Leo. Send out your healing thoughts and prayers to family members, friends, the greater community and a struggling humanity on Spaceship Earth. Individual and group meditations are recommended. Hit the metaphysical, research and scientific books with a vengeance since the Moon in Leo makes a flowing trine pattern of 120 degrees to Jupiter in Sagittarius (12:07AM PST tomorrow) while the Sun moves 45 degrees to Pluto (12:17AM PST tomorrow). Golden opportunities are moving in your direction. Will you step up to the plate and hit a home run?"
