I think it's great that Simon is a Libra. I also think it's great that Eminem is a Libra. Why? Because it shows that some people's ideas of what Librans are is way off base. As a Libran, I get so tired of reading (on this site particularly) how wishy-washy and super-sweet and unopinionated we all are -- afraid to take a stand....... HA! I love both these guys' razor-sharp wit although Simon is certainly classier. IP: Logged |

You're kidding me right? Cowell? Class? He has money and clout, and he knows he way around the business. But he definitely does not have class. The guy's a jerk with a serious case of dumb Sag mouth and baaaaaad taste. Somebody please drop kick his a** back across the pond. And yes, he;'s a classic Libra - giving people what they want instead of having an ounce of integrity. He was mean because that want people wanted, and when he took it too far, he apologized - because that's what people wanted. Geesh. IP: Logged |

Oh come on Gem. Simon Cowell is an entertainer. I happen to like his vibe very much. He says what he wants, he speaks his truth. You should relate well with him dear IP: Logged |

So now Libras don't have integrity? I like Simon, he's good at what he does. I don't think he is the best judge of who should get a chance, (he's often too busy looking for a Christina Aguilara look alike type, rather than searching for quality performances) but once the top 10 or so has been decided he is rarely un-accurate in his judgements of their performances. He didn't give the contestants what they wanted. I think most have confidence in their ability and preferred to be supported and not harshly criticized. I believe Paula is the one who acquiesed more to giving contestants what they want - being nice, and supportive. He apologised probably to keep the show, not for his own nor the contestants' benefit, else he'd probably not be able to keep his job. Public people are required to apologize when they feel they've gone too far; this is to keep their image in a good light, and it's not necessarily a Libran trait per se.. I believe his integrity is seen when he is objective or tries hard to be with the contestants - there are no personal attacks and they're judged fairly, criticized on their singing ability and presentation.IP: Logged |

I second that.I like him because he doesn't speak ******** . He's honest and straight to the point. Kind of harsh, but he needs to be. The only thing that annoys me is when he makes fun of people's appearances because that's not what his job should be about..but besides that.. He has my vote.. I've noticed he's been getting softer in his comments, for those who watch American Idol. I wonder if some people came down on him for coming off a little "too" harsh & blunt. IP: Logged |

I like Simon, too. I think he is handsome and witty and yes (gasp) classy. I also enjoy his tongue-in-cheek sarcasm. Who wouldn't be sarcastic listening to some of those god-awful singers?

Yes, I think some of those people have to know they can't sing. They just go on for their 5 minutes of fame. I second with Alanabelle, I dislike when Simon rants about appearances. I saw a News story on how Simon tore apart a contestant's appearance. Turns out the contestant's appearance is related to a disability, which had Simon looking very much a jerk. IP: Logged |

Simon may be an ass at times but it's HIS opinion the singers are really interested in. If he says you can sing - you can sing.IP: Logged |

Right on, MoonWitch, the real singers will listen to their 3 Yes votes from Randy, Paula and Guest and then still ask Simon what HE would have said. It sometimes brings tears to my eyes because it DOES mean YOU CAN SING if "Simon Says" so. heheIP: Logged |

I like Simon for judging the singer's talent....in true libra fashion. I don't like Simon for superficially judging the appearances of some singers....again, in true Libra fashion. As for Eminem, if you want to judge him on just his rapping skills I would say he is one of the best rappers in the game. His rhyming skills are incredible. However, making a song about wanting to kill your ex-wife is a bit much. It was almost like he was overcompensating for something. IP: Logged |

LOL... I've found that some of the most opinionated and bossy people fall under the sign of Libra. I work with two of them and while they love to gab, with one it is all about how wonderful he is and the other just talks to talk. BUT... they are bossy with their staff and that cracks me up. Before those two Libras we had two other female Libras working in our finance department. Both sabotoged the office and our finance records before they left. One of them most likely did it because she didn't understand her position anyway (she was very wishy washy) the other was very manipulative and knew what she was doing (very similar in fashion to my libra aunt) she would also smile and ask how your day was while inserting the knife into your back. Soooo..... needless to say, there are many types of Libras. All of them bring a certain element to the workplace and in friendship. I would never say Libra's are sickingly sweet. Many of the female varities remind of me of my former coworker... waiting to stab someone in the back or gossip about their clothing- yet not taking responsibilities for their own actions (like my aunt that made it her mission to cheat her employer but turn in her competition that was guilty of doing the same thing). The men seem to be very commanding to me. Maybe it is the Cardinal side to them or something? Regardles... Librans are beautiful people and I love to have them around IP: Logged |

Bossy and opinionated Libras?Like Carlos Mencia and Bernie Mac? I think I agree. No problem with Simon Cowell here. Yes, I didn't dig it when he used to go off on people's looks and weight, but I understood where he was coming from. IP: Logged |

Eminem~~~"One shot. One opportunity. Lose yourself! Once in a life time!" --One shot, One opportunity. Libras are survivors (Naomi Watts is another fine example)! They are not lazy, they are very rich in potential, life energy and forces to make them strive and thrive! IP: Logged |

Simon does what he does because he gets paid for that, it is his job, not what he'd be like in real life behind the cameras. Every person who goes to the show knows what kind of judging they'll get, no reason to whine about it. I took a quick look at his chart, and that Mercury-Mars conjunction says a lot, I can see why he has skills in this format. Eminem is an interesting case too, something quite different in his genre.
