I think somewhere on the internet they have an article that show people can be addicted because of the endorphins(scientifically) it gives you. I don't know if that cool for me to be crushing on a cute guy because of how it makes me feel? Swerve unregistered	posted January 30, 2007 02:48 PM Actually Libra that's a good point, I read that too, but it's actually infatuation that you would be "in love" with. It's the cocktail emotions and endorphins as you say. You can give youself a hit by thinking of someone, wishing for that "magic" moment of realisation. But that isn't love unfortunately, as I learnt myself the hard way. You can tell because it's possible to have that with soooo many people, and in quick succession or overlapping sometimes. Which isn't to say you can't love more than one person at one time. It's just different. Can be fun though can't it if you can manage it? Swerve IP: Logged

I need to love as much, if not more, than I need ot be loved. I guess that's why my home's always full of animals who are regularly showered with my affection. With friend I tend to be affectionate in my own way. I'm not a huggy-huggy kind ofperson, but I like to give cool gifts that my friends love and help my friends out whenever I can. With boyfriends, I tend ot drive them crazy. On one hand I'm not very emotional, but I like to be affectionate. This has confused many guys. And then there's sex....LOL.... IP: Logged

No matter how much I try to convince myself that I should be my own person not putting my happiness in someone's else hands, I am SO utterly miserable when I am not in relationship. And now, when I am finally over my divorce (I think) and in love head over heels with my boyfriend, the absolutely best man I ever knew, it also translates into fear of breakup. Irrational fear...really. On the surface I am so confident, independent and busy with my own life - my work, my daughter, my art, my home.....if only my boyfriend knew that every time I don't hear from him through the course of the day I feel that our relationship is over...lol. Of course, I don't act on it and would never even mention it... but I wonder what it will take for me not to feel that way. IP: Logged

I think these are positions of inner solitude above all, so you learn to walk alone at an early age despite that deep longing for a spiritual/soulful union with someone. I'd say people who are the most in love with love are the one's who have important personal planets in their 7th house, meaning they have to live them through partnership. Those have a harder time remaining alone. Anyone agree? IP: Logged

I wasn't meaning this had ot be every Piscean. Whatever. Also I don't necessarily agree. My Pisces moon is the 7th. However, I don't fit the common cookie cutter interps that placement. I have a lot of air too - I can love easily, yet stay detached at the same time. I don't rely much on partnerships, and haven't for all my life. I'm very independant, quite a bit of a loner, and do better on my own. I tend to give love better in open ended ways, no strings attached, not in a structure partnership. TO me, love doesn't equal either commitment or intimacy witht ehother person, even if the love I feel is profound. So I'm not the most reliable person when it comes to reciprocity as well. I think you didn't catch my second post and what I was inferring there. As a Piscean, I need to love probably more than be loved. There's also an implicit need to have the freedom to love as well - I don't do well focusing my love on selected person. Is it an addiction for me to love other people and thing so openly and freely? Well, not techinically, but it's certainly a deep seated need I think comes with being Piscean. IP: Logged

I've had very bad addiction and codependency problems with this puppy. I'd end up settling for which ever guy came past me first. I would tolerate all the unhealthy stuff in relationships. I was a compliant little robot giving in to almost every unspoken expectation there was. I'm proud to say that it's been alomst a year since I kicked my addiction and I'm very proud to say that I'm successfully single and going for a record. I have not been without a relationship since I was 15 years old. Not even for a day. I seem to overlap from one to the other and they are long drawn out relationships. I am always the one to leave the relationship when I fall out of love and meet someone new and i am happy and in love all over again. I really contend with this within myself. Any suggestions to rid myself of this? I really have never met anyone else like myself that has these kind of issues. I also always have had to have a pet to adore and spoil. I have had hamsters to monkeys and I feel like i always need to have something to take care of, though i don't want the hassle of kids. IP: Logged
