I keep hearing references that Gemini in Venus is really bad as far as having a trusting faithful relationship is concerned. Does anyone have and insight or experience with this type of placement in a chart and how significant is this particularly in a mans chart? thanks

I think it would depend on the rest of the chart.

my venus is in gemini... and I wont lie every once in a while I think about dropping a relationship because i want some variety.. and just wonder what it would be like to be "slutty" lol. and also about cheating. but im a cancer and well im too attached and we are generally faithful people.. and also my virgo asc. would discourage me from doing bad things.. lol

Just providing some info..

Kevin I liked your other guess thread that was funny and your a good looking dude!

Yea, i wonder about the gemini thing, he has the cancer sun and the cancer asc but that gemini venus makes me leery. They say the guys fidelity also depends on the Mars. his mars is Leo. I am not so sure about how the effects things here but your honesty is fantastic regarding your thoughts of other women. He mentioned the two women at the same time thing and i wondered about how geminis are twins and maybe that is an instilled fantasy. But then again I hear thats every guys fantasy

I'm Venus in Gemini and so is my bf. I am EXTREMELY FAITHFUL and so is he! I've read that this is due to his Mars in Aquarius (not exactly sure why that's considered a faithful combination but it is) and for me well it's obvious it's b/c I'm a Taurus/Scorpio...

Ugh. I guess it's about time for another one of these threads.

I have Venus in Gem. Yes I like variety. Yes I get bored with men very quickly. Yes I always have an escape plan ready. But no, I am not unfaithful to someone if I have made that commitment.

As for a man's chart- yeah, the rest of the chart needs ot be looked at too.

Gem Lover and Gem Nymph,

your responses are helping with my insecurity with this particular guy. Thanks so much for your input.

Everything I have read about Gemini in Venus was like a reading something entitled "Just Prepare Yourself To Be Cheated On Because He Will Tire Of You And Start Looking For Some New Action"

Awwwww, I have big soft spot in my heart for those slimy Aqua Venus bast*rds.

I think it's partly due to my Aqua Mars.

Having my Venus in Gemini makes me laugh... I'm so not what it describes. I'm the most loyal person I know. Seriously. I have been cheated on, but I have never cheated on anyone, Or walked away from them. Even if I've Thought about it, out of frustration. BUT IF i don't care about you, I can be very cold, and not give you a chance.. I am a cancer. So I guess maybe that pushes the loyalty factor, I do not have the need to hold onto you by any means. But I'll always be there for you. I guess it's making sure your right for me, that I'm not bored and that the plans we make for an escape isn't necessary anymore lol

You hit the nail on the head about the keeping a way out thing. This guy (I'll lay his b-date info out again if anyone wants to check this out for me) always seems to be there for me but I never get any straight answers about love for me or anything like that.

But he is always there. he seems to look out for me like hes my mom but we make love like nobody's business! But he doesn;t tell me he loves me. I drank too much and let those three little words spill forth along with my cocktail that night but he never said he loved me back though he is always there. I know hes not seeing anyone because he doesn't have the time anyhow. so thats not a consideration. But its like he doesn't want to commit to me in anyway. so verbally, I hear nothing. I feel like a dork saying I loved him and not hearing it back. This is the first time i ever did anythng like that. usually the guy says he loves me first I say i love him back and we are a serious couple after that.

ok heres the b day again..will he be a faithful one and will he ever friggin tell me he loves me????????

I can see where that can speak volumes but I simply do not have any reference to base this relationship on. It is way different than the others. this guys takes it ssslllloooowwwww! Never experienced this. I just wonder if he is holding out for an opportunity to meet someone else and thats why he doesn't get real heavy with me OR it could be the extreme opposite. He really likes me and he wants to be real sure and is cautious not to give his heart away.

every relationship i ever had seemed to have a predictable pattern. This one is throwing me. I am very intuitive about somethings and am usually dead on when it comes to men but this one makes it hard for me to read.

Creating a T-Square, my Venus in Gemini in the 5th is opposite to my Uranus in Sagittarius in the 11th and to square my Jupiter in Pisces in the 2nd. Space (don't want to see you everyday lol) is a biggie for me, but I'm faithful.

Well the worst I have heard at this point about the Gemini Venus (according to this thread) is that one of you guys simply thinks about being unfaithful but won't act on it.

Unless, anyone comes on this thread and says otherwise, I am taking this for what it is and will just chill regarding this gemini venus thing!

thanks almost an angel!

yeah , well, we Gems think a lot of things we don't act on. Trust me, most of the crap that goes through our heads is idle amusement and nothing more. Even if at times it's *very* amusing. *snicker*

Gems honestly don't have much agenda to cheat. We approach relationships very cerebrally. Even when we start getting bored in a relationship doesn't mean we'll go crawling into bed with someone else - we're much more incline to find something that's mentally stimulating, like a funny movie or some music, rather than go get entangled with another person.
