In another thread, someone suggested looking at the synastry aspects you've had with people you were very attracted to in order to learn if the same aspects tend to always attract you. So I looked at the synastry for me and my man and also two old boyfriends who I had been in love with. I only looked at the planets and the ascendant. Well, it turns out there are about 20 contacts I have in synastry with all 3 guys (for example, my uranus contacts all their moon's, my sun and pluto contact all their venus's--the type of aspect isn't always the same though). My planet that was most commonly involved was Uranus. I found this interesting because according to Pullen at astro.com, Uranus is the most prominent planet in my chart. So now I'm wondering if that's merely a coincidence or if it's precisely because it is my most prominent planet that I feel most strongly attracted to men who contact my Uranus (why must I have a 12 yr old's sense of humor and snicker everytime I write that phrase).

I have uranus at 16deg scorpio, all the guys I've gone head over for have been water suns or had other strong aspects to my scorpio uranus.

but the most aspected seems to be my sun [ruler of my leo ASC] conjunction with their venus, moon, mercury or mars. these are the ones who seek me out [opposed to the above situation where im the drooling one] and because i like them [and of course the familiarity/adoration], i say hey why not.

[btw my most aspected is my pluto, but its also the lowest point conj the IC whereas the sun is the highest in the 8th house]

At least it inspired me to look at the synastry with 8 men, I had a crush on, felt attracted to or was in love with.
I found some interesting things:

- I love Sun and Moon in Fire-signs; 2 of them had Sun in Aries, another 2 had Moon in Aries (my best friend also has Moon in aries)

- Mercury should be in fire also (3 had their Mercury in Sagittarius, my own Mercury-sign, one had an Aries-MErcury)

- Moon in Air is the next best thing to Moon in Aries (my own Moon is in Aquarius); even though I also like Moon in Scorpio

- Mars should be in Air or in Water (no Fire or Earth-Mars`s) - 3 men had their Mars in Scorpio, and boy, did they turn me on! lol

- Venus should be in Earth- or Water-signs
(Scorpio 2, Pisces 2; Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo each one - there was only one Venus in Sagittarius)

- I like Sun and MErcury in my 1st house (3 men had this), also Venus in 1st
- Sun and Moon in 4th
- Moon and Mars in 11th
- Mars can be in 12th, too

- of the aspects I like a Sun-Mercury-aspect (6 times)
- Sun-Uranus (8 times, with the men being Uranus)
- Sun-Saturn and Moon-Saturn-aspects
- harmonious Sun-Moon - aspects (5 times; mostly to my Sun)
- Mercury- Uranus (7 times; their Uranus, my Mercury)
- Venus- Pluto (8 times; mostly stressful aspects; but I`m not surprised about this, I have a Venus-Pluto square natally; however, even men who have been older than me had that Venus-Pluto-aspect with me)
- Mars - Pluto (8 times)
- Ascendant - Pluto (7 times).

So, now I can go and bake my perfect astrological man.

However, in the past, contacts to my 7th house moon have been common, although in recent year less so. I think this has to do with emotional growth and my moving away from relationships that involve emotional dependency.
