eatbooks,I have this aspect natally, and yes, it does make you more sensitive & intuitive. You may also find it harder to have a handle on who you are, due to Neptune's nature. I had a thread around here somewhere just 2-3 weeks ago about this; not sure where it disappeared to... Sunshine *edited* p.s. I just saw GN's link; I agree with Bob Marks' description! LOL at the "sewing on name tags" part. Sigh. IP: Logged |

Dulce,That's really interesting that it's gone on for so many years! I was trying to figure out how many years Neptune takes to go full circle; i think it is ~167 years; this must be why it's not moved a whole lot. It's almost like a natal aspect for you then! Do you find that to be true? Sunshine IP: Logged |

Ok, here's the link to the thread on natal Neptune/AC: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/012110.html eatbooks, the transit will feel a lot similar to what it would be for someone who has it natally Sunshine IP: Logged |

Yes, neptune has been in my first house for most of my life. Its actually getting ready to leave next year and head on over into my 2nd.Is it like a natal aspect? Probably...I already have so much neptune in my chart so maybe I won't feel the difference once it leaves my 1st house. I'll still be my unfocused, day-dreaming self.(Gosh, I terrible!) IP: Logged |

Neptune has been hanging out in my first house for awhile now..Neptune is currently squaring my natal Mars and Saturn in the 7th is also squaring Mars.. So I've been dripping with Neptune for a while now. I guess to answer your question as far as effect... I feel that everything has slowed down. My vision of the future is blurry and I don't act like myself anymore much of the time. Considering the oppisition to the 7th house, I'm sure those closest to me are wondering where the heck "I" went. I must say that I've been quite a flake at times. And really don't relate to others very well.. I think it is a time of self- healing... Zala posted somewhere (I"ll try to find) Neptune transits in the houses. this rang so true for me as i quote... "Our Neptune transit helps dislodge whatever is defective within us, those unredeemed parts that we have failed to honestly address in the past. We now have a chance to reveal and heal the self-sabotaging elements of our first house identity. Meanwhile, the finest traits of our Ascendant are now to be repackaged in a more appealing, even charismatic way" But for the time being it's still... Looking in the mirror and being not quite sure as to "who" is looking back. IP: Logged |

Wow! That's amazing! It's exactly how I am, but I never knew where it came from with all the other craziness in my chart. With the talk of "name tags" and having to imagine how someone else would do it because I don't know how *I* would do it. lol The one thing I don't really understand is this: How can Neptune be in my 1st House(in Sagittarius) but my Rising sign is Scorpio??? If someone could explain that I would really appreciate it. IP: Logged |

Hey ladies,Your Ascendant is probably in the later degrees of Scorpio, and Sagittarius must start in your 1st house. Though, it all depends on what house system you use; I find the Equal House system to give some different planets-in-houses placements from Koch or Placidus or Regiomontanus.. Sunshine IP: Logged |

sunshine Neptune is in Aqua. right now transiting my 1st house. My ASC is at 26' Cap. For me it doesn't matter which house system. In fact if I remember correctly, The angles do not change. It doesn't matter which one used, Aqua is still intercepted in my 1st house and Leo is intercepted in the 7th. My 7th house actually spans 3 signs: Cancer on the DC, Leo and Virgo. IP: Logged |

Sunshine - thank you for explaining that. Now it leads to other questions though: I know your Ascendant is supposed to be related to your appearance and how you present yourself to the world. With my Ascendant in Scorpio and Neptune in my 1st House in Sagittarius - would I appear more like a Scorp or a Sag??? IP: Logged |

Virgo/Aries75>I have neptune in the 1rst (in sag, like you) and I regard it more as a channel on expression rather than a lens over my appearance. Try this link http://www.elbertwade.com/page105.html and see if your decanate fits you. S_T IP: Logged |

Thank You for that S_T! That explained and helped A LOT! Of course, with me nothing is ever cut and dried. My Scorpio Rising is RIGHT AT 10 degrees and I definitely see both the 1st and 2nd decan in my appearance and make up. IP: Logged |
