IS there a way to match signs to business concepts and get them to work? Am I a hopeless dreamer? My brother is opening a barbecue restaurant in San Francisco after working in the restaurant advertising business in NYC for ten years. I am considering doing the same here in Boston, only as a take-out operation.I've received business loans before and paid them back so I am a good risk that way, after test marketing I am strongly considering having my family work in it for a year and then selling it off. Now I just need a location and the confidence to sell it-BUT how can I tell if I am just a hopeless dreamer or if I just should stick with my government job? Thanks, Natasha Taurus/6th house Sun trine Pluto IP: Logged |

To succeed in any business, especially catering, it is not the quality of food per se but the supply-chain-customer service business system. Anyone can make a better burger than Macdonalds but Macdonalds has the best business system for procurement/processing/manufacturing/advertising and delivery of the burger, so it is number one.If you can produce high quality food AND create a foolproof business system around it, then you could be very wealthy in a couple of years. The safest method is to hold the government job and start the business part time. Saturn in 5th house sqauring Mars is a guarantee for failure in a solo startup, apart from that there is no harm in trying. Strong Scorpio or Aries will help, so would a well aspected Mars or well aspected Pluto. IP: Logged | |
