Do you guys ever feel like astrology is your little secret? Most people think astrology is just our sun signs....if they only knew?

hmmm...i guess, well yes i do feel like that some times. on my day to day, people treat you with absolute no knowledge of astrology, so i mean, they don't really know the real you or what your capable of and your potentials and where your going in life, including your ambitions and motivations.

Most of the time, when ever I do try to talk about it with someone, they want so bad to disprove my belief in it. Like I am full of crap for enjoying it(they ridicule me for even thinking about astrology). So I stopped talking to people around me about astrology, except on this board I can discuss it all I want

most just don't understand that it's MORE than the sun sign..and it kinda annoys me when they say something like "oh he's a virgo he must be... " i always say "well there is actually more to it, the whole chart is important" and then they look at me like i'm on something.. lol

I sort of do. It depends on how open-minded I think the person is. If I feel safe with them, then I'll make the occasional astrological comment.

Thats kind of how I became now, before I would just talk to ANYBODY about astrology, I learned the hard way not everyone is open minded unfortunately.

Yeah I'm tired of ppl's eyes rolling. The funny thing is that if you looked at their charts, you could even give them an astrological explanation for why they are skeptics.

Most of the people thinks that astrology is nothing more than superstitious junk that can be found in those newspaper forecasts.. Mostly, what they ever heard about would just be the Sun sign or Ascendant.. And people think that it's not smart or intelligent to be superstitious, and that only dumb and ignorant people would ever believe in such lol..
Well, I'm very interested in astrology, as it has lotsa insights and symbolism.. there are lotsa things about life and wisdom we can find there.. But still, I'm not a total believer in astrology, and I'm not totally believing in the transit stuffs and etc.. I'm interested in astrology coz of its beauty, its symbolism, and its wisdom/knowledge.. It helped me to understand lotsa stuffs..
Besides astrology just tells us about potentials.. it's our free will, and how we choose to deal with things that matters..
I believe that some things are fated, but choices of how to deal with is is our own choices.

I'm very interested in astrology, but I still won't go too deep, as it feels that I'm being too obsessed and might even lose myself if it's too hardcore lol.. I normally avoid too heavy knowledge of astrology..

But well, it's true that there are still so many junk stuffs of astrology around that we can see (fake astrologers that are just for money, Sun sign based forecasts on newspaper, etc.), so normally people has a negative image about it.. After all, people normally know what they only see.. So I still hesitate a bit about telling someone how I like this lolol.. they still don't understand it well anyways.. ~_~;

And some people claim to be open-minded, so they despise others for this.. but if they are so open-minded, why are they so influenced by the society that got the negative image of astrology without even understanding it? It feels more like they are trying to show how open-minded they think they are.. :P

Yes I think its my little secret. When people find out i like it they try to prove it wrong. I explain more to them and they either get super confused or addicted and want to know more and more. I just try to avoid these discussions. Thought i was surprised to find out an old friend from HS was really into it.

Its kind of cool that there are not that many people that are as passionate about astrology as us... but then its also kind of sad cause I have never met anybody that was really into asro like I was .. soo yea. I wanna meet somebody like that

most people i know are into astrology BUT only sun signs. Any conversation beyond that really makes them look at me differently. I dont discuss in depth astrology with anyone outside of the internet.

I'm tired of coming across with people telling me they don't believe in astrology, "Nobody believes in astrology, I can't believe there are still people talking about it" or "Astrology is bu11sh1t" or "Writings on astrology are all about playing psychological games with the readers"...those comments get me frustrated

Yes! Because people either dont like it, agree with it, or they want me to do charts for them.

Im sick of astrology too... I just want to stop looking at it for at least a year! But ive developed a habit of looking at my transits and when I meet new people Im always intrigued with what their signs are like...and want to guess.
