Hello...

I know you're going to think that I'm cold-hearted...but I feel like I'm being ignored (Not from here-if you're thinking).

Is this Saturn's work? Because I feel like life has to be filled with work and tolerance with the authority figures every single day. And simply I just couldn't tolerate it. (Please don't give me harsh judgement...I'm sensitive) Certain times, I try to tolerate it for a little while...but after that, I'll just leave altogether.

Currently, I have Saturn in 8th House/Virgo aspecting natally to Uranus (positive) & Neptune (negative).

Here's My Transit Chart...

I don't think your invisible... I noticed your post. Of course I feel invisible too at times so your not alone. As for the Saturn problem I couldn't tell you if that was the reason for your problems with people in authority, I'll leave that to the real astro pros

Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
Ascendant in Cancer

Your transitting Saturn is conjunct your Sun and Jupiter. It's square natal Uranus and Chiron. It's also opposite transitting Neptune and Sun (which is something we should all be experiencing).

also, that natal Jupiter is expanding that leo sun demand for attention - you just need a LOT more, and being a leo you DEMAND it. ppl may shy away from you or resent you for always trying to take it all, always being in the center of attention.

I have a friend with a leo sun-venus just like yours, but in the 5th. and I know what ppl say behind his back. I also know, from the meaning of your 8th house and his 5th, that the sollution is for both of you to GIVE - him, love and attention; you - support. Emotional support.

don't be fooled by the money trap of the 2nd-8th axis. money can't buy emotional security. it can only fake it for a while. don't give money! give support - help ppl find their self-worth, their self-esteem. they will love YOU for it, they will come to you, they will be grateful for it, and what you'll give will return to you times ten.

Yes, Leos really do need attention. To get it without driving significant others crazy, find something to do that puts you "on stage"--if not theater, teach a class--or anything else that puts a lot of eyes on you.

Attention equals energy, and you need the energy.

Thank you for the advice...

But I asked/wanted an answer to my question about Saturn. Is they're an expert who can answer this? (Read the beginning of thread for Q&A)

I dont think it is saturn.

Saturn is around 22 leo. Your sun is at 17. A 5 degree orb is too wide for a transit to really have an effect. Also, it is retrograding to 18 leo, not past there. You already had saturn pass your sun last summer. In my experience, outer planet events dont happen once it passes the point unless its retrograding back and touching that point by less than half a degree. Meaning if saturn retrograded back to 17"30 or something. Its stopping at 18"08 so youre basically in the clear. You may feel more of a sense of responsibility but I doubt any saturn event will occur. Certainly not at this point when saturn has been retrograding from 25 degrees leo since december 06. Which is 8 degrees from your sun.
Also, the people ignoring you would be more of an ascendent/moon issue. The sun has to do with your life goals which would be constrained, focused, or limited in some way with a saturn transit.

From Steven Forrest:
quote:
Saturn the Teacher
The Gift: The ability to see reality clearly and to respond to it effectively and decisively.
The Challenge: Can you push aside wishful or fearful thinking and respond to concrete issues with self-discipline, patience, and practical strategies – and if necessary, can you do it alone?

Saturn times are viewed with horror by traditional astrologers. I must admit that when I see one coming in my own life, I sometimes wish I were someone else. But in retrospect, those visits from the ringed planet perhaps do more for us than any other planetary passage. The gifts they leave in their wake are typically of the quiet but precious variety, gifts such as maturity and self-respect. No matter how much growing and learning we do inwardly, there always comes a time when we must translate that inner growth into concrete, outward terms – and that is what Saturn transits are all about. Saturn is the planet of reality. It refers not so much to what we might feel as to what we actually must do. Its transits are always a call to action in the real world. When Saturn approaches a trigger point, first consider what part of you (which natal planet, in other words) it is touching. Then think: What kinds of behaviors in this department of my life continue to take up my time even thought I know in my heart that I have outgrown them? Then temporarily forget about nostalgia, sentiment, and self-doubt and plan a realistic, effective program of behavioral change for yourself and stick to it, even if nobody rushes to your side to congratulate you.

Cesar Chavez, leader of the famous five-year “grape strike” among the migrant workers in California, saw the reality of anger and resignation threatening to overthrow his ideals of nonviolence. Inspired by Mohandas Gandhi, he endured a twenty-five day fast in a successful effort to reinspire his followers – while Saturn was transiting through a conjunction with his Sun. A heightened sense of self-discipline (Saturn) fused with his self-image (Sun). Mother Teresa, known for her work among the destitute in Calcutta, received her inspiration that she must leave the convent and make real her Venusian ideal of Christian love while Saturn was transiting over her Venus. With Saturn transiting over his myth-making Pluto, George Lucas crystallized his uncanny sense of myth and fable – and permanently affected the unconscious of a generation – in the release of his history-making film “Star Wars.”

Saturn the Trickster
The Trap: The temptation to slip into despair and frustration, when reality seems to turn against us.
The Lie: You can’t win.

Saturn the Trickster is the most embittering of all planetary enemies. He builds a mile-high wall across the road of our life, filling us with a sense of impossibility and self-pity. We stare at that wall, convincing outselves that we are permanently stuck, with no possibility of going on. What we often miss when the Trickster has us in his clutches is that even though that wall is high, it is not very wide. We can go around it – but only if we alter the course of our road to adapt to changing circumstances. Inwardly we have become something different. Outwardly we have not. That course change is necessary – but frightening. Orchestrating some kind of collision with reality is always Saturn’s way, whether he is the Teacher or the Trickster. The Trickster’s strategy, relying on our stubbornness and inflexibility, is to depress and devitalize us, thereby trapping us in our narrow, sorrowful subjectivity, and robbing us of the energy we need to face that reality effectively. Saturn the Trickster relies heavily on the fact that real change always feels unnatural to us at first, using that to put us off the track. His dark art lies in deceiving us into believing that we have painted ourselves into a corner – and therely drawing our attention away from the fact that we have sprouted wings and ought to be concentrating on learning to fly.

General George Custer’s inflexibility in the face of reality was the subject of the latter part of Chapter 3. His debacle at Little Big Horn occurred while Saturn was squaring his Sun and Moon. Charlemagne’s losses at Roncevalles happened under Saturn square Uranus, complicated as we just saw by transiting Jupiter squaring Uranus too. Saturn was crossing Charles Manson’s ascendant when his followers murdered Sharon Tate – and the reality he had created got out of hand and quickly came crashing down around his ears. Under pressure for his alleged “mental problems,” Thomas Eagleton withdrew his candidacy for the vice presidency when Saturn transited through a conjunction with his Jupiter. Did the Trickster rob him temporarily of his expansiveness, confidence, and hopes for the future (Jupiter)? We cannot say – but that certainly would have been our warning to him during that difficult time in his life.

Pluto is going thru your 12th house right now. I know someone going thru this, its a very difficult transit psychologically I think. Once pluto is Capicorn(i think 2009?) it will be conjunction your ascendant. No one will be able to ignore you then thats for sure. The 12th house transit gets you ready for the 1st house transit, so you become stronger. Everything you've been learning these past few years will add up to a person that could do great things in the world.

I like your chart, youre defintely sensitive like you said. I think you have the potential to do great things, what do you want to do? My guess is youre very creative, maybe even a writer/poet of some kind.

Dont stress yourself out, youre going thru a lot of transits(i can relate). Neptune, Saturn, Pluto are all doing a number on you. But remember, its preparing you for the future. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Great stuff from Steven Forrest.

As eatbooks said, you have other major transits going on like neptune and pluto. Neptune is kind of ego dissolving in the sense that it focuses your attention away from the self which may hit a leo sun harder than say a pisces sun. You are also in the middle of a pluto square moon transit as well which is about deep emotional transformation, regeneration through some facing of some possibly difficult experience that forces a part of yourself into focus that youd rather not look at. Usually involves some major lack of boundaries on your part or a sig other, emotional manipulation, coercion and power issues of some sort. Among other things.

Good luck. Its all ultimately good.

re anything Saturnian ..
transiting Uranus is at very close orb 0.08 opposite natal Saturn ..
i would have thought current transiting Saturn would be felt by natal Sun somewhat ..

hankey, you said you're feeling ignored - is that a matter of the Saturn transit. and we answered "NO". was there another question in there?

to my knowledge, rev alice IS a professional astrologer. and you're being very inappreciative of her contribution.

cristine- although she is a professional(that I do respect), her answer was pretty vague, he was just looking for some more indepth info.
Misterhank, dont feel bad, youre going thru a lot, I think it will get better, and your chart points to a lot of potential that could be used for good. Chin up.
