Hey everyone! I'm not a novice, but this one I need a 2nd opinion on.
I'm a Scorp sun/Leo-moon/Gem-Asc/Aqu-Mars/Scorp-Venus

I know your mars is what you're attracted to. I ALWAYS end up with guys who have Aquarius moon, it's so fricken annoying! They have no emotions whatsoever, which I think keeps me around. I'm addicted to those relationship that don't work it seems, something about the challenge.

I heard that if one person (male/female) has their moon in the same sign as your mars, you will be completely drawn to this person like a magnet. My moon is in Leo, leo mars people kind of scare me though! haha, haven't known any nice ones really. None that are into me enough to find out they have leo mars. My mars in aquarius overshadows the moon I think, dunno. The moon person, are they as drawn to you as you are to them? Probably not sign mars is the one that determines attraction right?

3 guys I've been seriously into, 2 intimate with have had moon in aquarius. Bad sex 2.

It seems by your reasoning here, that you as the Aqua mars person are drawn [apparently over and over] to Aqua Moons. Did you not word this correctly?

btw What does this mean?

[gawd knows i love astro discussions on attraction] - just want to understand what youre trying to get at with the things I quoted here.

I attract too many Aries Mooners, and Aquarius Suns. My Mars is in Aquarius too, and I don't have Aries placements, except Sqaures to Mars by aspects.

IMO, for a femme, it's typically mars that governs the type of attraction to men, and the venus placement for a man's attraction to women. In my experience, the strongest attractions for a man involve a man's eros conjunct woman's venus, or a woman's eros conjunct man's mars.

With Mars in Aquarius and Venus in Aries, I historically tend to go for the strong independent type. Which I'm tired of.

In that case, would a male venus in gemini be attracted to a sag?? Aren't geminis and sags similar??? Sorry, still new at this. lol

my mars is in taurus in the 8th house but i can't remember a time where i've found a man with his sun sign in taurus to be attractive. they've always been extremely awkward and i've had very creepy experiences with men with a taurus sun. now i am not sure if i've dated anyone with a taurus moon, though. i find it interesting that all i seem to attract are creepy taurus men.. eh.

I'm a Leo moon and my man's a Leo mars. He has a Cap moon, and although I don't have mars in Cap (mine's in Virgo) it is in my 10th house, so I guess that gives it some Cap vibes. Oh, and my venus is in Cap.

There's a strong, mutual, magnetic attraction. Before getting together, we were both serial monogamists, with our prior relationships going south after about 2 years. Now we've been together for 5 years and if anything the passion has intensified over the years. This moon-mars aspect probably contributes to it (I think our venus-mars, venus-pluto, and eros-ascendant double whammies are probably the most responsible though).

My Mars is in Cap, and I've never been attracted to or been with a man with Cap placements...I'm more attracted to Scorpio types (My Venus is in Scorpio.) However, I do tend to attract Cap's opposite, Cancer, a LOT.

Savage--Your moon is in Leo, so that could be another reason why you're attracted to people with their Moon in Aqua (Opposing moons).

My man's moon doesn't conjunct my mars by sign but it does by 4 degrees if that counts (my mars is in aries, his moon in pisces). The other way around; his mars is in the same sign as my moon and I heard that even that was enough to generate a strong attraction. And yes, I'm so gosh-darn-bloody-attracted to him.

As a person with mars in aries I've never been particularly attracted to aries men...I find alot of them to be Alpha males most of the time. There's only one that has ever made me swoon and he was a childhood friend. On another note, I do have a fondness for athletic guys.

I have aries mars and aries moon...and I am rarely attracted to aries men... a bit too hyper and much too overt gender/sexuality wise... I have to fee protected but quietly protected..and i need a bit of space as well..

I have mars in aquarius and all the men that I'm attracted to, either aquarians or they have moon in aquarius. Actually all the men I'm attracted to are heavily aquarian and capricorn influenced. (Cappy venus, descendant and eros)

Oh yeah Mars in Sagittarius here, and Sag mooners really get to me! I think only the best of them. Strange, if you ask me.. Since it is squared to my own moon!

Sorry about the typo "Probably not sign mars is the one that determines attraction right?" I think I accidently backspaced a few lines in there! Probably not the moon sign for men, but mars (for women) since it's the one that determines attraction right?

Like I was saying, traditionally you're supposed to have a moth/flame attraction to a person who has their moon in the same sign you have your mars. I think it has to be either the guy/girl's mars. The moon sign holder isn't going to feel that attraction to someone who has the same mars as his moon since the moon isn't the planet of attraction? Get what I mean.

Supposedly this is an intense attraction, but not one that usually works, other things have to be there to hold it together.

Well, though this might not be on-topic to the subject of discussion in question... my moon placement as well as mars are both Aries, but I suppose "passion" (Mars) and "emotional reaction and flowing"(Moon) would have some correlation in that respect. Just my guess at it- it could be completely by happenstance that you find mate with an Aquarius moon and have said sign in mars.

I'd like to contest for the rather aloof, no emotion part. I don't think Aquariuses have no emotion, so much so as they're detached emotionally and try not to accentuate such a facet, or aren't as in tune with the captured emotions, as, say, the water signs are? Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer.

Or even the Fire or Earth signs, but the Earth signs seem to practical and the Fire signs too much impetuous zest to say differently in my eyes. Just my interpretation, though. I'm sure Gemini, as well as Libra could be quite the same.... being air signs and what have you, but not so much so as Gemini. And for the record, my rising sign is Aquarius, and I indeed, at the very least, tried to look emotionally dettached before I even knew the such (my rising sign, to specify).

Anyway, outside of that... I don't mean to be off-topic to this thread. Just my take.

oh I see

well for me my moon is capricorn, mars in cap doesnt do it for me. my mars is libra and moon in libra, though i dont encounter them often -- they do tend to rev me up. hmm, also noticed this with my mars square and opposed their moon - tho the tension there isnt so, hmm.....polite? there is attraction there tho just not for the most logical reasons.

btw moon can be related to attraction, its just of a different sort: emotional. the sense of being comforted, taken care of, nurtured, etc. so i think if one's moon related to another's mars - the moon person would be feeling "prickly sensitive" in relation to the mars person: where the mars person acts out the moon person is sensitive -- but the emotionality of the moon person can turn on the mars or cause them to see the moon person as a wet blanket/sappy/overly sensitive, and the energy of the mars person can either disrupt or enliven the moon person's emotions/sense of comfort. [depending on aspects/free will/blah blah]

also it looks like you have your fair shared of fixed signs in your chart. if you have a strong square or t-square, its -very- common to attract people who have major pts [even jupiter] at one of those points [thus making your major square a t square or already accentuating the energy that is there]. same goes for people with major trines that only need the other sign in the element [say they have 2 planets conj in gem trine 2 conj in libra -- so theyd attract to themselves someone with a major pt in aqua trining those others]. just a thought to the question of "why aquarius?"

Yeah I have a T-Square in my chart. I'm still not sure what all that means. Everything in my chart is fixed pretty much! The guy I most recently saw, I think he probably has a T-Square 2, all his are fixed 2, the guy w/moon in aquarius.

Same here. Scorpio Sun/Leo Moon/Sagittarius AC/Mars in Aqua/Venus in Scorpio

Always get guys with Aqua Moon. Always...doesn't matter then sun sign....they always will have an Aqua Moon and usually some significant fire and Scorpio placements. It's an interesting trend haha

The emotions part drive me insane sometimes...but I have Saturn and Uranus conjunct my AC along with them both trine my Moon anyway so I can be pretty detached myself for the most part

mars and moon has a powerful chemistry. i have experienced it myself.

my mars sextiles this guy's moon, and his mars and my moon r both in gemini (not conjunt by degree tho). we have an amazing chemistry. i feel so feminine with him, its a very delicious feeling. i feel protected, cared for, and pampered. at the same time i challenge him, and he challenges me.

Interesting, though it doesn't hold true for me. I, too, have Mars in Aqua but I have only dated one person with an Aqua sun. The rest fill my serious lack of fire. Them "firemen" really get my deeper water a-flowin' if ya know what I mean!

My lover and I both have leo moons (conjunct) he has venus and mars in aries, both tightly trining my moon. I'm not sure what aspects make us irrisistable to one another (theres lots of interesting ones, both good and bad) but my moon=his mars too.
