How annoying I made a boo boo on the topic, it should say
" What to do when your a Gemini with a Gemini MC?"
Why can you edit you post but not the post topic?

Its that time in my life again....*tiny inner voice* so what are you going to choose as your career? Times a wasting girl!
*my little inner voice annoys me!*
the problem is I have no idea!
one problem is I have too many options...I could be an artist, a healer, a writer, a baker, some thing in the occult field?
I feel like my heads spinning every time I think about it its driving me nuts

My question is, does any one happen to see an indication, a pointer in my chart as to where I should go with this, what I would be happiest doing, what I would be best at?

Help me pwease *she said with pouting lips and puppy dog eyes*

and then the lord said let there be crazy people, and he saw that it was.......oh crap..........this is not good.........ummmm...cough,cough I didn't do this.. ummmm Luna whats wrong with you, why'd you make these people crazy
Luna: WHAT?!? your not going to pin this on me!
God: cough cough and then the lord dubbed the crazy people Lunatics
Luna: WHAT?!?!!!! don't name them after me!
Luna: and why are you talking about yourself in the third person
God: God can do what ever he wants to do, Muahahahahah
Luna: I hate you....sigh...I'm never going to live this down

I think you could be in publishing. Sun, Merc, Mars in 10th... all that Gem to boot---awesome. Saturn in 3rd probably adds structure and discipline to the things you communicate. I'm no expert... but I would imagine having Chiron at the MC would make you good at developing counseling-type works...???

*shrugs... let's experts take reins*

since u r a gemini with a gemini MC, u cud be all of them

i didnt look at your chart as yet, but i think u hv a very good sense of humor. and some writing skills. lets not forget that one. (hey, tht reminds me, were u able to recover your blog?? )

*edit*
i just read the other thread titled career advice. and it seems another knowflake has suggested writing as a career for you. i would have to agree with her.

another thing, u have a whole lot of planets in your 10th house. with those placements, i think u'd like to be in the public eye. i dont think u wud be content with say a bakery in which u work behind the counter.

then i notice saturn in 3rd (hey, i have tht placement too!!!). u may like to read this :

overall, i think it gives a very focussed mind and ability to go into details.

I have 10H Gem Sun and Mercury with MC Gem myself and I haven't settled comfortably on a caeer either, and I've been at this waffling game longer than you! Currently I teach support classes and academic intervention fro special needs kids, but I need something more steady and better paying (and ideally, less stressful). However, with my wacky resume, it's very hard to get anything but crappy jobs.

I'm hoping one day to get one of my sci fi novels published. It's one of my goals for this year - to start submitting to publishers. I am also looking into free lance writing, but I understand that's a vey hard field to break into. But I need to do something - I'm 35 and I can't really finanically support myself very well, and I'm sick of it!!

well most every one who I've let read my writing have been pretty enthralled with it, telling me I should be a writer or do something in that field...
But I was never sure if it would make me happy...or even if I was good enough
lol what am I taking about I don't even know what happy is...
perhaps I mean something that wouldn't make me miserable....
I was kind of surprised that every one said I should do somthing in writing..I don't know why though?

Blah......but sitting for long periods of time drive me nuts...for any period of time lol, I become obsessed with my work forget about time and work for hours and hours sitting on my butt. and all of the sudden I know I'm done because I feel an overwhelming urge to explode with nervis energy. At which time I start driving every one insane because I'm bouncing off the walls.lol
I like doing art as much as I like writing...and I'm equally good at it...or so I've been told...Blah...sigh
AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! All the wonderful Gemini traits are also the hugely annoying Gemini Flaws...GRRRRR... I think all the Geminis here know what I mean...sigh

Thank you all for your advice, thoughts and wordd

Hi, Dove: Your 10th house placements look like more of a blessing than a flaw. Many options to choose from. Gemini on the MC could indicate your ability to do two jobs; you might do them alternately, or simultaneously. It's your choice. You've already mentioned writing AND art. A Gemini Midheaven might also show an ability to work in publishing (writer or publisher), as a teacher, or possibly in the travel industry. Either way, your career could likely involve regular travel of some sort.

Maybe you can look at what you are absolutely passionate about, and try to make a career out of it. Something that makes you feel like a kid again, in the best sense. Good luck to you, Dove. You'll find your calling soon enough.

Gemini Nymph: Hi there. The sentiments expressed in your post are so familiar to me. Wanting to do something more fulfilling--i.e writing--for a living. I have become fed up with the McJob merry-go-round (your current job doesn't sound like a McJob, but life's too short to do something you aren't passionate about).

Don't rule out the freelancing. I'm trying to break into it, and it's kind of daunting. (I'm also trying to put together a volume of my poetry.) To be honest, I'm scared ****less. But after a while, we all get to a point at which we need to utilize our strongest talents in a career... not a "job."

A great query letter is supposed to be the ultimate foot in the door. ("How to Write Irresistable Query Letters" by Lisa Collier Cool is a good book for advice on querying magazine editors and book agents. Maybe you've already checked it out.)

Anyway, from one literary aspirant to another, I wish you luck in your endeavours.
