Hi All,I've been interested in horoscopes for years, but have always had a "problem" with my own natal chart. Question: Why do I (and most of my friends/family) disagree with the basic descriptions in my natal chart? You see, I honestly do not see myself as chart supposedly says that I am (Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus in Leo, Sag/Cap in the 1st house). For example: I hate the limelight. I feel most comfortable "behind the scenes". I'm very diplomatic (many people say I resemble a Libra more than a Leo). I love harmony, I don't want to be the boss, I prefer "equal" relationships (I respect you, you respect me). I love secrets and hidden things (ok, my Sun,Moon, Merc, Venus are all in the 8th house - so its' right there). Even though I like astrology, what do you do when your natal chart doesn't feel right/doesn't match who you are??? For those interested in taking a "peek" at my natal chart, I was born 8/16/66 at 4:15 PM (according to my mom), in the Bronx, NY, USA. Kaity IP: Logged |

Hehehe, I have a problem with my natal chart too doesn't change it though I don't feel like a Taurus sun at all sometimes, I spend money like it's going out of fashion. If you access the astrology course forum, Tim has some really good strings which (help) explain your chart in depth, you could maybe get a lot from it? IP: Logged |

Your chart is made of nothing but a bunch of harmonious aspects.... IP: Logged |

Hmm, maybe because you have peaceful aspects, you tend to prefer peace, making it seem like a libran trait. Those with harder aspects present themselves more forcefully.I know someone with just sextiles and conjunctions - he is peace personified. Also, my dad is double aries sun/moon. And you'd expect him to be a walking volcano. But he's a very gentle, peaceful person, (if he does not get riled up - that's a different story!). Also, with the stellium in the 8th house, the Leonine showier tendencies would be subdued because the 8th house is a purportedly 'old soul' house (very very introverted in the sense that they reflect and look within alot). And they like to observe more than be centrestage. Their thoughts are also much more centred on inner transformation and invisible psychological forces.. so it might not necessarily have to endow you with extroverted qualities of Leo. IP: Logged |

I used to have a problem with my Taurus sun. Part of it felt like me - the sensual pleasures, determination, loyalty. But I couldn't understand why, as a fixed sign who supposedly hates change, I love change and actually thrive on it! I get bored at jobs, have to move on and keep doing different things, don't really like living in one place for too long, like travelling, hate getting "bogged down", interested in religions and spiritual things. Given that I didn't know the attributes of every sign yet, I interpreted myself as feeling more like a Gemini than a Taurus. My birth time given was 8.25pm which gave me Scorpio Rising, and I could completely relate to the Scorpio descriptions BUT Libra moon wasn't me at all. So then I finally got my correct birth time - 8.30pm - and it all fell into place... Sag Rising with Scorpio moon! I can tell you I was relieved to find an explanation. I also recently found that I have Sun opposite Uranus, which makes a lot of sense to me too.

Kaity,Since you have most of your energy focused in the top right of your chart, you chart is focused on "Maturity", using your relationships with others to do things for them in the outer world. Also, your chart is almost entirely focused on others, so most of your attention is on others, not yourself...which can make it challenging to evaluate yourself and who you are. In addition, with 4 planets focused in the 8th house (transformation, also occult), you are interested in occult secrets. As long as this sounds OK...you have the right chart! More in the link below. Here's a link to another free report read Kaityndoesla, based on your birth info. Just put in your info and it gives a short interpretation of each planet... http://www.esotericscience.com/Report.aspx ...hopefully that'll work, but if it should bring up an 'expired' page, just go to the 'main menu' and then to 'report'... I do understand the 'feeling' though Just remember however, that the birth chart only gives to potentials...you by way of free will, make the ultimate choice to be though... ~ geminstone IP: Logged | |
